re@lchange: if the elections ends up in rigging, PDP still cannot win because others know the game now. it may end up being 30% Ngige, 30% Andy Uba, and 35% ifeanyi Uba that now would be a stalemate.would not be suprised if an unpopular candidate clinches this. |
Politics › Re: Okonkwo Concedes APC Ticket To Ngige by asha80(m): 7:51pm On Aug 21, 2013 |
re@lchange: there is a difference between sectional elections and state wide elections andy uba is still popular in his own town and LGAs (aguata/orumba), so even if he rigged it won't be much try that in the whole state and see trouble! ifeanyi uba is there as you stated, and yes some people will still vote based on money but these cannot trump popularity statewide Ngige is still popular only Soludo could have beaten him you do not seem to get what i saying ...every single vote matters..potential vote ngige could have gotten from that axis could be rigged in uba's favour thereby reducing potential votes ngige can get there....same thing with nnewi's ubah.all these small small votes are important. |

re@lchange: i also think that Ngige is more likely to win than any PDP candidate in fact PDP will find it harsh in Anambra if this Soludo's debacle continues there is a lot of anger against PDP and APGA right now and if Soludo joins another party to contest the elections, he will win provided he campaigns hard enough. we want real change in Anambra state not village developments do not underestimate uba's rigging machine.do you think uba became senate commitee chairman for inec for fun? |

You can tell the ideologies of obj, tukur, mark, gej is far from those of david west, Fashola or adams this shows that it is about individuals and not parties after all oshiomole was not a founding member as he first belonged to labour.there is nothing progressive about nassarawa state governor or achike udenwa or ararume.do not be carried away. |

IGBO-SON: It's clear that Soludo is being hounded and bullied by the President.....but what i can't understand is why the 'informed' Anambra electorate are saying/doing nothing about it!
Reminds me of the passive Abian electorate that allowed godfathers walk all over them! did the anambra electorate tell u they are happy?so what do want them to do...burn down apga secrateriate?write petition to who?let us keep our emotions in check.this is different from the actual elections where the electorate would have a say.abia's case is that they were non chalant on the election proper not primaries where they have no say. |

What's with the hotels almost in all streets in owerri? That's crazy!! the hotel construction na private thing na...i wonder if government can put a law to stop building of hotels in owerri..it is getting out of hand.....however i am still more interested in development of rural areas than urban ones. |

So Govs have to come from Northern Anambra becos of Oil.
Let me tell u dat Anambra was doing fine without oil and the greatest wealth is the people and their industrious nature.
Cities like Onitsha and Nnewi were built by the peoples intellect and not with oil. not sure how what you wrote relates with what the guy you quote wrote.pls do not bring another unneccesary dimension to this.how are you sure what he wrote is reality and not his personal opinion? |

I am beginning to wonder Victor Umeh's role in all this, I think he might just be the hand of Essau pulling all the silly strings

It is just a shame dat I am one of dem and will be affected by their selfish and foolish ways.
How can igbos explain the collapse of a political party put in place by Ojukwu to safe guard their common interest.
Not Bianca interest or Obi interest but Igbo people interest.
How? Ike unu guoru. If GEJ thinks he can survive in an already hostile political environment by rigging his way starting from Anambra, he has another thing coming.
This is not threat like Buhari just an advie. emotional talk...sooner than later you would be back. |

My only regrets is Oyedepo lives a life of opulence but I do know that this is not the only driving force for these investigators
They will rather the money is spent somehow in UK, that is what this is about
The majority of the donations come from Nigerians living in UK so what is the problem with shipping the money back to Nigeria? for the last sentence you made it is because the nigerians there in question made their money in uk and not nigeria. |

The right to vote and be voted for can be established with or without a voters card! You just have to check if the candidate is an ex-convict? of age? etc and recommend that they get their voters card sorted
APGA just shut herself in the foot. They will pay for this arrogance
PDP will win Anambra! then know that anambra would go to the dogs if that happens because their is no credible candidate in pdp. |
