Capital Cee: that guy is funny ifeanyi ubah is a joker. The fight is between Ngige and Apga. With ngige banking on his pedigree and his numerous fans, apga will depend on incubency and igbo appeal. One thing i fear is that Ngige has tremendous grassroot support cutting accros all LGAs. But apga control more lgas. Willy obiano's non popularity and the vote splitting between him an tony nwoye in anambra north, might work against him. Igbo sentiments may also work against Ngige. All in all it will be a close callthat is where i fear for obiano....how popular is he with the people? |
INNO18: Why hasnt he given any public speech since he was 'elected'? Always in the background... I wonder if it's Peter Obi that will equally campaign for him, when the time comes.there is actually a footage of him giving a speech on youtube...just type willie obiano on youtube..you can judge yourself...i also wonder why he has not yet given a speech. |

Capital Cee: yah you are correct in that of orumba, i said its unpredictable, but you will agree with me that Ngige will get more votes than apga in orumba south am not sure of north. That of onitsha i gave it apga because onitsha is not a rural area, but even if apga wins onitsha north/south the margin will be too negligible.i think Ngige will win in awka north/south. I see apga edging nnewi north/south but i fear the effect of ifeanyi uba in that region.how can i forget the money miss road ifeanyi lol...he definitely going to have a whole no of votes in nnewi especially nnewi north. |
Capital Cee: let me give you my predicted voting pattern in the forthcoming electionyour predictions seem to be largely correct though i am suprised you gave apga the edge in onitsha north and south...i thought you give it apc...not sure about your prediction for orumba north and awka north though(type 'amansea community ngige angry borehole' on google). |
anyway nov 16 would decide which sides are armchair analysts. |
when people talk of rural dwellers then ngige would win with those rural dwellers in idemmilli north and south, nnewi but rural dwellers in most of anambra north, parts of ihiala, orumba north and south might have other ideas. |
Afam4eva: Pls let's not over-estimate the support of the church. If the support of the church was sooo important then Peter Obi would have won by a wider margin in the last election owing to the fact that he was the icumbent, so i don't think the church support will be enough for Obiano this time around.as at 2010 the missionary primary, secondary schools and hospitals had not been handed over to the churches and money set aside to rehabilitate and run them so the churches at that time were probably a bit neutral then. Also one of the reasons ohakim lost election in imo is because of the perceived hatred from the churches because of what he did to a priest.heck even rochas used that incident in his campaigns. |
slimghost: Unfortunately, the church is behind Obiano and Peter Obi and so is Uwazuruike.that is why i left an open ended statement because i know who the churches support and i know a reckless statement ngige made about the church. |
if the church is behind ngige he will garner lots of votes... |
it seems obiano is well read, respected and astute manager but he has to appeal to the grassroots...this is where apga has major work to do. |
who knows what john emeka is thinking. |
gymnasium: see mister man shut up before nemesis shut it for u how dare u call him (ifeanyi ubah) an idiot do you know what it takes to get to the level he is ? al you know is to sit down here and type rubbish about a hard working man who is undergoing what is called success checkyou must think you are talking to illiterates...success check indeed......just make sure you make enough money from ifeanyi during this campaign period because he is bound to fail...someone that could not manage his business wants to manage a state. |
sounds good...two less thugs to deal with. |
Abagworo: Its funny how these enemies of progress act like mentally deranged patients. When the house of assembly tried to re-visit the marriage laws, nobody accussed Jonathan of doing that. I wonder how a bill that was proposed by a female member of Imo house became a Rochas affair. Rochas duty is to sign the bill into law after the house has deliberated on it. The law is good and needs to be encouraged by women.i wonder why some peeps are jumping on okorocha instead of the woman that sponsored the bill if ever they want to jump on anyone. |
sounds like good news as two less thugs to deal with. |
gymnasium: my dear dose days are past, the ifeanyi ubah i know of recent is a business mogul worth over $400bn with wild spread across the world so he just want to serve his people to wipe their age long tears of political doom why not support him and God will reward u richlyyou got jokes...400b dollars indeed. |
ashmanpolo: Link plsit is on vanguard online. |
pro01: So Ben Akabueze wants to become deputy governor of Anambra? Akabueze? Tinubu's man-servant? Seconded to superintend the planned annexation of Anambra into Tinubu's empire of gr££d? So that they would bring in Alpha Beta to collect taxes from Anambra traders and further enrich Tinubu? LOL.guy it is good he wants to join politics in anambra state.for long highly educated and technocrats of anambra origin have ignored the politics of the state to charlatans, thugs and semi literate money bags.it is high time they started coming back to partake in the politics of their home state.at least we now have obiano and akabueze on the list and in the future we hope to be having more.although i agree with you that his electoral value in anambra might be suspect as i do not think an average anambrarian on the streets, villages and towns in anambra knows him. |
i am not saying it is not possible after all i have also been an advocate of using our indigenous language medium for teaching subjects but it would take harwork, sacrifice and diligence to achieve it. |
icon8: It's very possible! How d'you think the Germans, French, Spaniards, Italians, Chinese, Japanese, etc teach Mathematics in their respective schools?what is algebraic equation in yoruba?or h.c.f in yoruba? |
ok...would like to see how they would use yoruba to teach mathmatics...it might be possible. |
Demdem:planning to do more is pure conjecture...you can do better than that. |
Demdem: Thank u for confirming that he did exactly what the people wanted within that short time he was governor. he is surely the man of the people.so because that is what the people wanted education, health(meanwhile he is a doctor) and the rest should go to the dogs?then why do we complain about our leaders in this country.... |
Demdem: That u hate anything APC is well noted understandable but ur effort in distorting a well known is nothing but sheer stupidity on ur part.he only constructed roads during his spell as that what anambrarians wanted at that time because roads were non existent in anambra then....in other sectors he scored zero unless you want to tell me other sectors he perfomed. |
alexchiny: My brother, it is obvious you know nothing about Anambra people, my people. We are very sentimental when it comes to our brotherhood. Side an outsider against us and you are doomed forever and that is the case with Ngige. Are you also aware that Ralph Uwazurike is behind APGA full time? Hope you know how powerful he is when it comes to grassroots mobilization?. Most kids just come here to spew thrash out of sentiments controlled by their emotions. I really wait to have a good laugh come November.i have also noticed that uwazurike seems to support apga now as he is one of those that brokered the peace deal btw obi and umeh...in the past obi and uwazurike were at loggerheads. |
mikeansy: I am pretty sure I do not need any lectures in politics from you.suit yourself...like i said emotions does not get you anywhere in politics |
mikeansy: so a political party elected a candidate that no one knows anything about and he is in hiding since then and you say such person is a leader?who told you he did not campaign in the apga primaries?delegates?one word of advce there are two things you need to be a master in when it comes to politics..one focusing on your interest and two is being a strategic thinker....emotion does not get you far in politics or posts..just ask buhari and ezekiel izuogu of imo state. |
mikeansy: Politicians owe the people a duty to explain their planshave they started going from town to town to villages to campaign?all these your emotional outbursts since soludo was sidelined is getting funnier....have other contestants that won their party primaries said what they are going to do?i am not sure he is going to deviate so much from obi's vision.....also on a more serious note if you want to stop obiano from winning it is not on nairaland but going to the rural populace, churches and farmers and traders to convince them not to vote for him...goodluck on that. |
mikeansy: Since Willie Obiano won APGA primaries has anyone heard from him? Has he congratulated those who voted him and announced his plan for Anambra State?maybe he is not into grandstanding or noise making. |
Ifems: The guy is not an illiterate. He made a first class in Int. relations from,i think IFE. He went around borrowing and spending bank's money ruthlessly. He will use Anambra's monthly allocation to clear his debt if he makes it to awka.nna no dey yarn cigar....first class in international relations in ife indeed. |
i thought the report sometime ago is that jonathan is backing andy uba to become governor...so what is going on now? |
