Dude, seriously how do these figures show where the people live?
The people captured in these figures could be living in any part of the country - can't you see how low the figures for Lags are?
I got tired of replying some of you people on this thread seriously.

My brother I tire o. Are these people really this dumb or just pretending?? Coz it's like they still don't get it that this data is based on states of origin and not of residence. Wahala wa o. lipsrsealed

Haha no bro, it is Lagos that is 70% Igbo
While SW as a whole, they are 30%.

You honestly can't help but ponder how these people think sometimes. Why do they get all these things from? lol

Ah, are you sure? If they are already claiming 30% of the SW (outside Lagos), then at this rate I reckon that dem go don reach 70% by December 2017, abi wetin you think? No mind them. This your myth-busting thread don discombobulate and shock dem seriously. cheesy Can't you see the way they've been talking out of their nyanshes since ni?

That being said,

The article still states it categorically that Imo States clearly trounces every other state.
.
So, fair trade

Lord knows some of you people are too dumb for comfort. We're talking regions and ethnicity and you are talking about Imo state. Are Imo people not part of the SE region? Abi dem no be yeeibo again? Una like to shift goal post whenever situations don't favour you whinny lots.

This is about Ethnic populations, NOT Number of states.
If for Example there was an additional Igbo state, then, there would also be an additional Yoruba state from a state like Kwara or Kogi or even Akoko-Edo.
I have done all the possible permutations trust me, but the Yoruba ethnic population just seem to always put them ahead. Yes it is close, but not equal.

Guy, imagine how dumb and stupid these people are. As if carving out another state out the current 5 in the SE would make any difference or add to their numbers. Yet they claim to be 'educated'. Gosh, see stark and buck nakeed foolishness on display.

This is a great and welcome development. The present location was originally residential and serene, until some greedy landlords in cohorts with negligent state regulatory agencies allowed it to turn into the chaotic marketplace it has become. This is a very welcome development.

This must be fake news joo. The same yeibo people that have the 'most developed' region in Nigeria and by extension Africa, that have developed the SE into the African Dubai and in their magnanimity are spreading/helping to develop Lagos, Abuja, Thailand, Indonesia, India, China, SA, etc are the ones supposedly suing the FG for underdevelopment
Definitely this must be fake news.

Dude, I don't give a flipping funk about none of that crap. Go and open a separate thread and wail abeg. The NULGE President has stated his opinion based on the evidence he has seen on ground and he's entitled to his views just like anybody else. This thread is about EVIDENCE of Aregbe's strides in the area of infrastructural development and no be photoshop. Even if he's owing you can't deny the fact that he's delievered on these projects. Besides, Osun isn't the only state with backlogs of obligations in one form or another, yet unlike many of his peers (who supposedly have lesser debt burden) Aregbe's still managing to service the debt AND delivering on solid infrastructural projects. People like you only see and highlight negativity and will never acknowledge any positives. So please buzz off my mention. Thanx.

All the shameless Igbos sef. Na jealousy go kill all of una. Aregbe is already servicing the state's debt, which explains the state's low allocation for sometime now, YET he's still able to deliver on more QUALITY infrastructural projects (as attested by the the NULGE president) than all SE states combined, including the ones that don't supposedly have as much debt as Osun. Smh. Without as much debt Aba is still a cesspit and can't even fix its perennially and infamously terrible roads, and Onitsha is still as dirty as ever and remains the most polluted city in the world, yet these people no get shame, na Osun matter them dey wail over. Baba God abeg when will you show ipob touts mercy and dash their drug-trafficking behinds some sense, na beg I dey beg.
