Successful ones is not really about position of strength. It's about the position of the oppressors in world power. I bet it is near impossible to secede from world powers like China, ask Tibet. The yorubas in Ilorin are a conquered race! They have an emir! Oyo ile was able to come back from it, or is there any vestige of d fulanis remaining? Don't get it wrong. From an economic point of view, Catalonia needs Spain too, as Spain remains Catalonia biggest market for Catalonia products.
