I am not really a political guy, I have seen obi as governor, he didn't really do anything out of the ordinary. Same with atiku as vice president.

But my greatest fear is celebrating mediocrity. Allowing the current government to continue is nothing short of that. In a sane country, I would be voting sowore or Hashim but we all know weren't living in one.

I am voting atiku not because he has an excellent record - no Nigerian politician does. I am voting him to create a trend in the country. A trend that all unperforming leaders will be booted.

If atiku fails to perform before 2023, I am definitely voting him out too. My loyalty lies not with any political party but with Nigeria

Has it ever happened to u that u come back from a hectic day so tired and hungry that u enter the kitchen, put on the fire and place ur pot to either heat up any food already prepared and stored in the refrigerator or quickly prepare something simple to eat and u simply SLEPT OR DOSED OFF?
U wake up as a result of the choking smell of the burnt food or by neighbours who starts shouting due to smoke that must have covered the whole building. As they begin to ask if u want to burn down the house? Most times u can't rescue anything from the pot to eat. I remember once even periwinkles in my soup were burnt to ashes.Lol

It is not a nice experience anyone should have. But I strongly believe many persons who lived alone as singles must have passed through this. It is always bitter

I have been dating this girl for the past six years. I met her when i was in school. She has helped me alot (financial wise). We both love each other even though we are from different tribe. At first, she told me her mother is not supporting our relationship because i am not their tribe. She later told me that she was able to convinced her mother but my mind is still not clear on that issue. The major problem i have with her is that, she is arrogant and lack respect to some extent. Hi everyone, I will try not to make this post a lengthy one.

I was born into a Muslim family and raised as a muslim. My wife met me as a practicing Muslim way back 2005 when we were both undergraduate in one of Nigeria's federal Universities. Recently, i started losing interest in religion, started seeing it as a source of division among humans ( like Muslims attacking Christians and vice versa). The idea of people burning in hell and some people enjoying in paradise makes no sense to me if God is really loving as claimed by theists.

But my wife is not comfortable with my religious views, infact she has started seeing me as hellbound ( don't blame her though, a true Muslim hardly marry from other religions talkless of marrying a freethinker like me ). I can see that the love she has for me is gradually reducing simply because I chose not to hold any religious views. I have no problem with her religious views, sometimes when she is far asleep, I will wake her up in the morning to observe her solat.

How do I make her understand that I can be a good husband to her without having any religious beliefs ?
The only thing she reads about are stuffs pertaining to Islam, she hardly read about science or other non religious topics. She is one of the people who believes that no human can be morally upright without having the fear of God or subscribe to religious ideas.


Just of recent, I thought of leaving Nigeria to any western country so as to be able to live my life peacefully without anyone questioning my religious views or tag me as an infidel. But I can't just leave everything behind just because my woman is not comfortable with my religious views and has been quarrelling with me on it.

How do I make her live with me peacefully without her feeling uncomfortable? Has anyone experienced this before ? How did you manage the situation ?

I am everything if not all that any good woman will long to have. I adore and cherish my wife ever since we got married on 23rd December, 2003. That's about fifteen years ago and God had blessed us with three handsome boys. But I don't know why my wife still meet with her ex-boy friend.
