The INEC chairman was also threatened by the dense, yet he no make noise. He simply did his job yes, The INEC chairman did better and the will of the loving Nigerians prevailed. Distant cousin from Ebonyi & Abia states? Hahahaha. Actually, Monetarily it would have paid her to support the incumbents'party PDP. |

N3TRAL: Wike was neutral during the presidential election. He is a very good, honest, kind and peaceful man. Stop blackmailing him.
He stood for justice, fairness and power shift to the South.
He has stated that he didn't support Peter Obi. However, he didn't work against him.
God bless Wike , the best Governor in the history of my beloved State. Let's be clear on one thing: Wike wasn't neutral in this elections. No politician is Neutral in an election nevermind a presidential one. Consequently, saying that he was neither against not in support of Obi is a logical inconsistency. It like saying I'm neither in the country nor out of the country. So where I'm I? |

Throwback: APC really did well to motivate their base to vote in the state elections.
No breathing space for zombies in Lagos. Even in the SouthEast, they struggle to win. So Tinubu lost the Presidential in Lagos because they (APC) didn't come out to vote? No longer that Muslim - Muslim ticket or Campaign by churches? Lol. |

alanto: Check this... First on arrival he met with the president, then he addressed their parliament, they agreed with him and then he confer the whatever title he wanted to...
Some people would have gone their to promote their rights and then started calling the place a no man's land... Imagine all the praises the Ooni showered on Brazil for helping his People flourish...
Na SW common sense dey live walahi Your analogy is inconsistent. The OONI is a foreigner in Brazil. No Nigerian is a foreigner in Nigeria. While Lagos isn't a No man's land, our Constitution is quiet on indigeneship. There's nothing like indigeneship in our Constitution so technically, an Ekiti man is as good or bad 'a foreigner' as a Rivers man in Lagos. It is primordial tribal sentiments (also unconstitutional) that makes the Ekiti man more 'recognized' in Lagos than a Rivers man. https://independent.ng/how-1999-constitution-resolved-indigeneship-citizenship-controversy/ |

Mercury12: well I'm not the one complaining about bride price. If he could afford it he won't be disturbing us on nairaland. All tribes of people complain of costs. Even rich men count the costs. And although they don't complain, when things go awry you hear things like: after all I did for her/her family. Nigeria is largely a poor country so it's hard to find a tribe in which even 20% are well to do. I.e. Rich. |

Politics › Re: You Rigged 2023 Election, Not Tinubu – Asari Dokubo Knocks Peter Obi by Asour: 3:18pm On Mar 21, 2023 |
IyaebeTheGreat: Hmmm is like Asari knows what we don’t know. My own is Obi came third and Atiku second, which simply means Atiku was closer to winning than Obi, so why is Obi and his supporters more aggressive than the person that came second? Politics is like mathematics, you’ll have to calculate right to get an accurate answer. In all honesty I don’t believe Obi ever won because it was crystal clear that northerners( major deciders) massively voted for Asiwaju and it was for this reason Asiwaju based his campaign over there which made him eventually lose Lagos to Obi. We should be over all these already and let the court handle the rest The mathematics doesn't work that way. Both Atiku & Obi are within 1.1 & 1.6m votes respectively from the winner. IF You can prove that a certain volume of votes were wrongly imputed to another candidate from the rightful owner, you reduce the winners tally while increasing yours. Of course this is simplistic but PROOF is the core here. |

They just print it. The international loan market should be driven by assets and services not printable paper cash. Why isn't it denominated by the Yuan, Renminbi & Ruble? Technically speaking you can hold reserves in all those too. You guys forget that the $ didn't create the USA's greatness BUT it was the USA's greatness that made the $. Just like how Russia & China have equivalents of ALL popular social media platforms that are American owned but outside these countries, people prefer the US based platforms — even when they can use QQ, Weibo, WeChat, Vkontact etc. |

This should inspire you to embrace entrepreneurship where only you can sack yourself. If you become an employee again tomorrow, next tomorrow, they can fire your silly ass again.
Good luck And entrepreneur is also 'bossed' by his customers! No one is without reins in this world. Employees are also important too. One just has to be a little untethered too. |

I hope he knows that all power belong to Allah No leader 'deserves' anything in Nigeria. None. LP, APC or PDP. Tell me one macroeconomic index that has improved since 2015? Truth be told, if the presidential election is to be reconducted today, LP won't make the top 4.
Most Yorubas that voted Obi have seen the light and are seriously regretting their actions right now most especially in Lagos.
Lp was built on a very faulty foundation of lies and deceit. Obi is a fraudulent character and will remain so forever.

How can you equate trolls & bullies online to real death? That's no how literary devices work! Block! Block! Block!
Also, politics is generally a charged subject so declaring you political choices/view online suggests that you don't mind a debate.
Bullying & trolling are wrong, however, they are not comparable to real life assault. In fact, there are few places in the world where it is a chargeable offense. |

Karlifate: Now, you're simply regurgitating my earlier comments.
BVAS exposed the bloc votes gotten by past administrations.
PDP got their millions of Northern votes by rigging, from OBJ to GEJ.
Even your "saint" Buhari. Who said PMB is a saint? |
Politics › Re: Atedo Peterside: Where Was Amaechi When Obi's Votes Were Transferred To Tinubu by Asour: 6:55pm On Mar 19, 2023 |
Karlifate: Again. You're only commenting based on your immediate environment.
You're sad that Emperor Wike manipulated BVAS, but you're happy that BVAS reduced Northern bloc votes.
Again, PDP are still the biggest riggers of elections since 1999. All riggers are riggers. APC, PDP & LP rigging are equally bad. Measuring rig, rigger, riggest is a fool's errand. Again, there's nothing like Northern block vote. PMB had Northern 'bloc' vote since 2003 but couldn't win until the SW supported him in 2015. GEJ won the elections in 2011 without winning NE & NW States. |

Karlifate: Your partisanship has made you not to be objective.
The past winners didn't have the BVAS hurdle before them.
PDP are still the biggest riggers of elections, since 1999. I'm not partisan. I didn't support nor vote for any candidate. BVAS is one of many GROSSLY inadequate tools adopted for the elections that was still poor. Comparing elections in Nigeria between bad is like comparing how harmful your pot of soup would be if 2 drops of poison is in it Vs if 3 drops of poison is in it. They're both poisonous. Rivers elections for example isn't better than any election in Nigeria. And it was done with Your so called BVAS. |
Politics › Re: Atedo Peterside: Where Was Amaechi When Obi's Votes Were Transferred To Tinubu by Asour: 6:28pm On Mar 19, 2023 |
Karlifate: You're clearly missing one thing:
BVAS reduced bloc votes. Doesn't matter. He had the lowest %. I don't mean absolute voter numbers. He also won the least number of States by a winner since 1999 12 states. Uniting the country is his next burden. |

OneCandleAway: That's what I keep saying. Once Tinubu has a grip on the presidency nobody in Nigeria can defeat him for 2027. Except maybe the US and UK intervene. He won't give a level playing field for next election like Jonathan did.
I'm suprised the north even let him win, because I wonder if they think they can control him. He definitely can't control them. He didn't do as well as Their (Northern) candidates in Presidential election before the merger to form APC. He also has the poorest numbers as a WINNER since 1999 in a presidential election. No presidential winner has done < 40% of the votes. He's hugely influential but you're overstretching it. He benefited from Northern support hugely! |
