If the Northern Muslim (highest in the 2 regions above) are as powerful as you suggest, why didn't PMB winning there translate to winning the Presidential election in 2011?

The reason is that The North (NE & NW) power is NOT absolute.

It is elevated by non compromise by other regions — as it happened in 2015.

In other words, It took the SW voter pattern to break away from the rest of the South (as in 2015) & partner with the NW/NE for their power to show.

Had the SW voted away from the Northern choice in this case, their power is weakened.
