You wouldn’t know how much those guys had made the church political. So he’s just trying to balance all ground and redirect the optics.
He will surely be re-elected. I think he will be re-elected but not because you say so. Since you didn't predict Tinubu's shocking loss in Lagos, your predictive power isn't perfect. He'll win if voters' don't vote in the same way |

LegendHero: Nice one.
Sanwo should undo all religious propaganda that Obi Pandora initiated during the campaign.
Intelligence showed lot of Christians voted against APC because of that in Lagos irrespective of tribe because there are lot of mega churches around that Lagos-Ogun axis.
Those deluded Obiidiots are crying now that Sanwo is visiting churches, when their lord Obi was visiting, they were applauding him. Intelligence. Hahahaha. Mega churches are literally in Ogun state. Including winners' chapel. How come Ogun voted APC massively? So it's no longer igbos that caused the loss? Hahahahaha |

thesicilian: Why is it that most people who relocate abroad suddenly become YouTubers and bloggers? It's from your bias. 1. You have zero remote knowledge of the number of people who go abroad monthly. 2. 'Most' meaning at least more than half. So you mean 51% + of diasporans. 3. Social media has reached high saturation levels. So many(including diasporans) feel free to create content that go viral. This virality causes you to think half are. |

madridguy: Two weeks ago, Psuare said he's not supporting Obi because of tribe but because of competence. Today, he's supporting Chinedu his brother against Sanwo-Olu, ask him IS this because of competence too?
Both Psuare and Chinedu will be thoroughly defeated on Saturday.
You can change your tongue as you like, so it now that you are just knowing politicians are the same ?After your failed attempt to sell Obi lamba to us. I don't know about Psquare but since 1999, SouthEast states have voted for OBJ (Yoruba) 2003 & Yaradua (2007) against prominent Igbo Sons like Ojukwu & Orji Uzor Kalu (who failed in Abia state despite being the Governor). SE also gave GEJ more votes than they gave PO. Again, PO is the first Igbo candidate since 1999 to win a single SouthWest state. If a Yoruba/Hausa candidate can win against Ojukwu in Anambra, I wonder where the argument is from. Again, PO is the first Igbo candidate that has won a single SW state! |

Tycyborg: This is the one for you guys almighty USA so say the same thing..no barricade and the increased allocation in Mississippi, important facilities become unavailable... Since you always talk down and always negative about your country like any of you even follow rules and law abiding the country but fast to blame. The absence of such facilities in US state of Mississippi doesn't in any way justify the absence HERE in Nigeria. And the facilities I'm referring to are no special. We had them in Nigeria 18-20 years ago when trains ran. Again you're creating a straw man here. I never said the US is perfect or doesn't have lapses. And using perceived lapses in US to justify those in your own country is laughable. Do you also correct your children given that out there children still tend to vices even after being corrected by their parents? So why not just give up training yours properly afterall they could still turn out bad. See how that sounds? |

So how exactly did he reach the conclusion that he was rigged out? My reply to you wasn't about PO. It was about your insinuating that one cannot win Presidential elections in Nigeria without winning in the core North. That's false. |

Don't you people know how to keep long time friendship with others? Must everyone having contrary opinion to you guys should be seen as a threat? You don't get it. Wike wasn't REQUIRED to 'support' PO. Best he would have done was to be even neutral since he supposedly had no dog in the fight. In Rivers State (I was born there but didn't even vote) he allegedly allowed his boys overturn results clearly in favour of PO. Glaring examples are on IREV portal. Again, his support wasn't REQUIRED. He was just expected to be neutral at best. |

I am studying for PhD now and I enjoy learning and doing my work...this has also translated to personal life choices, tracking news and trends, analyzing data, picking the right investments and so on...if you don't immerse yourself into the true essence of learning, education will be useless to you. It helps to be in a state (one's background) or a society (one's country) where basic needs aren't immediately pressing on the individual to satiate learning. The state of basic need makes everything else seem farfetched. |

EriMma1: Go and read your bible oga. God placed that responsibility on the man.
So far, women have been getting empowered financially and meeting their needs by themselves since the men are beginning to fall short in their responsibilities and original position. So no biggies but that does not erase the fact that a man should cater for her needs. You're making an anecdote seem like a well researched study. I totally support a stable man getting married but 'stability' is relative. With women in the workplace & Economic downturns, the [average] family today wouldn't really be able to survive on a single income — as our fores did! While men should work hard, if 99% of incomes were going to men in the workplace in the 1960s, women liberation has ensured women now gets a sizable share of society's income. What do they spend this income on? Not the family? Or are we building a world were women take equality in the workplace/share society income almost equally & yet still expect Men to bear it all? Now I'm not taking a position but Except for a few men, not many families [today] would do well on a single (Men) income. Moreso when the other makes an income but keeps same away. |

Another question is, Where was LASTMA? Assuming LASG refused to put barricades to deter motorists or pedestrians.
Those manually operated barricades used to be on Lagos roads in the past.Who removed them? This is the question few are asking. There used to be barricades at railways in Nigeria. Unfortunately, with increased allocation, important facilities become unavailable. |

But Peter Obi?! The 3rd class Philosophy graduate
Naah SE states massively voted for OBJ (Yoruba) & Yaradua (Hausa) in 2003 & 2007 respectively against prominent Igbo Sons like Ojukwu, Rocha's Okorocha, Orji Uzo Kalu (who even as a governor lost in his state) . Obi's win in Lagos in February is the first time in Nigeria's recent history that a SE candidate won in a SW state & the results hasn't even sank in for many Yorubas who feel 'cornered'. Again, Nigeria doesn't necessarily have to have the most degreed president. Spare us that. Obi also doesn't have to be the President but degrees aren't the core of leadership. Even at Governorship/Ministerial levels, we've seen all Professionals: Medicine : Odili, Okowa, Uduaghan. Engineers: Seyi Makinde, Kwankwanso, Umayi. Omoawoke:

Unknown gunmen, Monday sit at home, high insecurity. Their small state is seriously underdeveloped but their eyes is on Lagos. To them, it is Lgaos that need liberation.
Even the bible has warned the so called woke people joining hands to support their agenda
"You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye. "Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and then turn and tear you to pieces."
Don not give dogs what is sacred, do not throw your pearls to pigs. If you like continue doing awoke. Anybody carry GRV on their head, just do a background check, you will find out that 95% of them are from that side that they sit at home on Monday. So what exactly do they want with lagos?
Okon yin oni bale You're barking the wrong tree! And I'm not even Igbo. Do you really think Igbos constitute the largest block of votes in Lagos? Enough to sway the Gubernatorial elections? If they did, why haven't they voted a Governor of their choice since 1999? The point is that they CAN'T. Now instead of you to put in efforts at convincing the Yorubas/other groups who made the results you saw on the 25th February possible,. you're directing efforts at a low ranking cause. Well, Goodluck. |
