I like all these thinkings and calculations, but three years is enough to make nonsense of current permutations. Lets just hope our politicians work harder in improving their ratings.

@Beaf
must you always be a pessimist, i have followed you for a long time and thought you to be a balanced critic and knowledgeable, but alas, you have disappointed me over and over again.
Leave partisanship and discuss issues with fairness to all. Lastly, stop the name calling if you are to be regarded as a serious person.

@poster. This is clearly a waste of bandwidth, if you've got nothing meaningful to say, why not use your 1 hr café time to log on espn and read soccer news.

Yes the guy did not appoint commissioners for a long time, but really he has done nothing wrong. The problem is, we nigerians have so much politicised everything that we think that govt cannot run without commissioners forgetting the fact that all ministries have permanent secretaries who are technocrats and probably know the job better than the so called commissioners.
Business › Re: Questions On Non-Interest Banking For Mallam Sanusi by aspabay(m): 9:10pm On Aug 01, 2011
If really Islamic banking was Soludo's idea, how come it did not raise any dust that time. Lets get it straight, the way Sanusi is going about it in a cosmopolitan society is completely wrong. The way sanusi and other Islam leaders say 'nothing can stop us' is very wrong.
The problem is not the name, but the motive of these northern bigots.

The movie is also one of my best. The terrorist were not made to appear dump, they were also smart. Its really an intelligent, interesting, educative and captivating movie.
If Jack was real, there wouldn't have been 9/11.

Sa’ad Abubakar, sultan or whatever you are called, shame on you
For doing and saying nothing without heating up the polity, shame on you!
To all who see their fellows kill in the name of religion and yet blame it on others, shame on you.
To you who consistently refuse to condemn the bombing and yet claim that your religion is a religion of peace, shame on you.
To GEJ who was remain incapacitated, clueless and docile just like his predecessor, shame on you
To NSCIA, JNI and all such organization who are not ready to do anything to fight poverty and illiteracy, but are ready to shed their last drop of blood to defend a matter of policy, shame on you
To Aboki Sanusi Lamido, just like Sani Yerima, you know this country is volatile, good intentions can easily be misinterpreted, yet you choose to create confusion, hatred and violence, shame on you. All blood that has been shed all will be shed will be on your neck. Posterity will catch up with you.
And to you, Lugard shame on you posthumously, you forced this marriage.

@poster The guy in question killed for idealogical differences and not religious. Have you ever had of Christian militant or Chritian extremist? But the muslim guys (even though its not the general opinion) carry out their terrorism in the name of religion. They kill and maime in the name of Islamic militant, extremist and all sort. So you see its a different ball game.
