Shut up there....I said now people spend 1m to 2m on RECEPTION HALL alone.I did not mean 1m to 2m on entire wedding ..even the 1m to 2m. .is it easy? Wedding is NOT marriage oooo Wedding is just for few hours .and marriage is a LIFE time commitment. I did my wedding in one of the biggest city in this world and I know what I spent only on MC. Just MC.... that was years ago,and I paid the guy completely before the day, just for wedding reception alone .... I know what I spent on reception hall hiring,then the hall decorations and cakes,then food, as in rice, swallow with different african soups, salad, small shops, drinks, photographer and video . As in for photobook,burning all the pictures on CD, two big enlargements, one video for wedding and another for traditional......The weddding reception was massive and so was the traditional ...as a matter of fact, some dudes still owe me for Asoo ebi till date ..they did not pay.

I am talking out of experience, ok.


Read what someone write well,before jumping to conclusion and talking about poverty. .It is not a news that there is poverty in Africa...what is per capital income of people in Nigeria as compared to someone in Europe...we are talking of moderate wedding, you are mentioning Ahmed Musa ,a popular Nigerian international, a professional footballer in EPL club Leicester, who earns his wages weekly in pounds week in, week out .even as he is not regular ..who just invested heavily in filling station up north.... are you ok at all?

Do you think Nigeria is England? Even in England, don't they have poor people there? Is it everyone that is earning well and living large like Ahmed Musa you mentioned? You have to be rational and put things in the right perspectives.

You saw a wedding of people that cannot even afford ordinary suit, no cake, no asoo ebi, non drinks, and you are mentioning a potential billionaire footballer in the matter.
Then something is wrong with your sense of judgement.

How many Nigerians in UK, apart from footballers earn that type of wages Ahmed Musa earns? Not to talk of people in Nigeria? Dollar is between N360 to N380 now while pounds is in the neighbourhood of N400 to N450 or there about. Honestly, I see no need for such comparism. Can you compare the salary of an average worker in Nigeria to the salary of an average worker in London?



I asked my Parents then, what were the requirements for marriage in their time and I was told that It was just a keg of Palm wine and few kolanuts for the blessing with say about 10 people in attendance and after some 30 minutes , the marriage is over.. then the bride family will handle over their daughter to the groom's parents and say these few things to the newly married:
1. Your union will be a blessing to us all, amen.
2. You will born both male and female, till your house is filled.
3.To the groom, please do not beat her o, do not allow her to be hungry,not naked,not homeless.
4.Both of shall be prosper, Amen.
5.Sickness and evil people will not see you, amen.

That was the simple and yet affordable marriage rites of the 1940s,1950s,1960s,and they lived together till old age. How many divorces did you see then ? How many barreness did you see then? Even giving birth was seamless ...no operations for baby delivery....most of these activities now are foreign due to modernisation and it is impacting negatively on our youths.

You can do your wedding in the church and use the same venue maybe rent one or two canopies to accommodate your guest.Snap pictures and enlarge it later Give them small chops and soft drinks and after that everyone go home.

Some time ago, a family member called me from one of those north American countries, I saw 0809.... I was confused ....because it took the caller some moments to introduce self and I was like " please are you in Nigeria now"? The caller said "no"... just because I recognised the caller's voice and also when I asked, some people also confirm having gotten such international calls.

I think it should be looked at and if there is a congent reason for that...let the public be aware.

Sometimes I see "likes" in some bad subject matter, topic, social vice that should be outrightly discouraged and condemned. ...I become confuse. ... are the people liking to be topic to "good" or are they saying that the op just spoke their mind or are they happy with the topic , I don't really get it.

Pls this is very bad and the man as a matter of urgency should be separated from this little girl ....simple.

Well, I'm no pastor and like I repeated, no one is forcing you to pay tithes or any contributions. As a matter of fact, if you pay grudgingly, you will get no blessing from God because he never forced you to do that in the first place. However, when you condemn other people's charity and willing contribution to the work of God, you're surely incurring God's wrath on your head!

-tithes,
-pastor's seed,
-church building seed,
-evangelism seed,
-father's day seed,
-mother's day seed,
-children' day seed,
-Pastor's cake seed,
-olive oil seed....etc.

These schools are now elite
schools, only for the rich
politician children.

The gainers then use the profits to buy private planes & jets to fly up high in luxury, ride Exotic Cars and live in expensive Mansions, while their members, (who are mostly the least of Jesus people) sleep hungry.

The next Sunday, they will read Malachi 3:6-12 to these members again without making reference to Deuteronomy 14:22-29 about their own responsibility to these poor members in their churches.

If you think this is unfair, like me, please pass on this message because this is reality and we also need the CHANGE here!!!

Thank God for early missionaries who built schools and gave basic
education FREE or NEAR FREE to many of us including the CURRENT LEADERSHIP of these churches and universities.

The same bible said ..."you shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free".....tithe is unscriptural...no " real" man of God will tell you to pay tithe because they know the truth .

Why are Pastors turning and bible up side down to suit themselves.... We have billionaire pastors and millions of youths are unemployed.. . Rather than create employment, they will be living flamboyant lifestyle. ..


I repeat, God blessing is at God's discretion to bless whosoever involved or not to bless the person.

The richest men in the world today ....how many tithe did they pay? I mean like the first 10 richest people in the world...? Riches get level oò...not all these poor people claimmg such people in Africa.


You can support the church via goodwill donation, offering, pledges, gifts. ...as far it is not "imposed" on you but you just so that willingly and nobody threaten you that if you don't do that you are robbing God and playing on your intelligence... is ok. But to say you MUST pay your tithe to gain financial freedom is very unscriptural please.

Even some Pastors are confused when it comes to tithe. ..am sincere... read your bible again and again to see how many places tithe was mentioned and the read it with open "mind " not a bias mind.!

Let me remind you that Jesus asked Peter three times if he loved Him more than fishing after he caught him fishing as soon as he resurrected. This shows he wasn't expecting Peter to do any other work than the work he gave him, which is to win souls for him. So, how are these pastors like Peter expected to feed, clothe and cater for their families? Don't also forget that God also commanded the Levites not to do any work apart from the temple work. As a matter of fact, the Levites were given no lands in the promised land because God commanded it but instructed the isrealites to bring a tenth of their produce to his temple so that his servants can have something to feed on. This is same thing with the pastors who left their work for christ. Some even left a high paying job as in the case of pastor Kumuyi and Adeboye!

So because they left their lucrative jobs to do God's work, that justifies the tithe they are collecting week in week out ....unscripturally.

So tithe is the payment for A.c. members receive?

Btw, Jesus isn't expected to pay tithes because he's the head of the church himself.

However, his disciples which became the apostles had the congregation giving to the church. Let me remind you of the couples that died after they tried to cheat God with their money in front of Peter?

Like I stated earlier, servants of God are not expected to do any other work. Hence, they depend on the proceeds coming from the congregation in the church and believe me, these people are blessed by God!

The couple did not die because they refused to pay tithe..... they died because they were hiding part of their money. ...Bible never called it tithe....so what is your argument here?

Bible said "Jesus died that we have life in abundant"
.not abundant when you pay tithe.
