I think the numbers is more than 75m.

For the past 1 decade, I have hearing and reading that Nigeria has a population of about 180million people.

I am very sure that more than 100million Nigerians do not have access to electricity. I mean NEPA, however most Nigerians use generators, lamps, torch lights from normal torch, rechargeable lamps, torchlight phones, until recently inverters, solar system though very expensive.

Is quite sad that in year 2017, we are still talking about light or no light.When even NEPA run their office on generator ...We have a long way to go.Lets not deceive ourselves.

After we will be shouting brain drain, why wouldn't there be brain drain, just Ghana here, there is constant light,every night Nigerians spend money on fuel, even the fuel is not cheap, couple with the fume from the generator which has killed many.

Government should genuinely privatise the power sector. The power sector is a multi billion dollars sector, much bigger than the telecommunications. Not this paddy paddy privatisation that they did, let power sector experts around the globe who have over a century experience in other countries, tested , trusted and proven , come in and save us this national embarrassment. I am quite tired of all the issues .

Nigerians are ready to pay for steady power supply if fixed, the humongous job opportunities, new innovations, inventions and revenues that will follow will be amazing.

How will this reduce inflation and increase Naira value, reduce crime, increase quality of life , reduce poverty, increase standard of education, reduce unemployment and increase workers salary, reduce corruption and increase honesty and transparency.

Abeg o, just asking.

Before you pack into any house, please cover the place with blood of Jesus. There are many evil houses today, not only in Lagos but there are many in Lagos.In every part of the city, you will see them, some of those houses, tenants never do well, except you are very prayerful.

The evil landlords use their tenant destiny to play if the tenant is not very prayerful. Please open your eyes well, when renting a house in Lagos, just because of the accommodation issues, people fall into these traps.

These properties appreciate daily.Just build like 2 to 4 room and parlour self contain depending on your financial strength , put them on rent and live close to your office by renting a good apartment. Then use your rent to pay off for the place you live. Many Lagosians make the costly mistake of moving to their personal house in these outskirts and start suffering themselves, their wives, children and also the extended family members.You can build 3 or 4 bedroom flat too, rent all out, when you retire, you çan easily move to your house then.Then as for the security aspect, I believe you know the difference.Lagos is safer, I do want to go into details, though we are all under God protection.

Imagine moving from Gbagada to Ikorodu, after Agric , or that Egbi power station area because you have finish your 3 bedroom flat there, and your office is on the island by VI or Ikoyi. In Gbagada, once you come out, you will face third manland, easy route. Now from those areas of ikorodu, you will start battling hold up and very rude and aggressive nature of Lagos danfo drivers everyday, change your children schools, if Madam is working on the island, both of you will be facing the stress daily. Before you get to the office, you are already stressed up, it doesnt matter if you drive or join BRT.That is serious suffering, all because"i want to live in my house". Does it worth it?Na die the person dey so, small small.Those stress will build up over time.

But once, 4th mainland bridge is built, ikorodu dwellers will enjoy workingon the island.
Talking about Mowe, please never compare Lagos to Ogun state. I keep asking myself why can't successive government of Ogun state leverage on their proximity to Lagos to turn their state around? Go to Sango, Ajegunle, Toll gate, Agbado, Isheri, Lambe, Agbado crossing, etc these are boundary communities of Lagos and Ogun, but those areas are like one ancient village.

Do not let anyone deceive you to buy land in those areas, that it will be like Lagos in 2 to 3 years, it is a lie. The change there is very slow. It is better to look for an old house to buy in Agege, Oko oba, Abule Egba, Iyana ipaja and demolish it and build your house than going to those boundary areas.i am taking from experience. Lagos is Lagos, but if you already gotten somewhere in Mowe, build and rent it out.Always put Ikorodu ahead of Mowe.

If you have a daughter or at least a little sister, you will see this differently. I would have condemned this but my hands are tied. I have a daughter. Besides if this had happened in Europe which it has, we will be praising them for a noble initiative to keep girls out of unwanted pregnancies and STD that may destroy their future. Just like Kelechi Ihenacho is a positive outcome of our youth system football, one or two of these girls definitely will go on to maintain their status and save Nigeria of unwanted pregnancy, killed dreams, dumping of day old baby in the gutter etc..

As for GTB, they are falling in standard in terms of good service delivery. Imagine gtb charging me twice today for service charge.
Calling gtconnect is waste of time, they have bunch of rude Customer care agents there. I remembered recently an account of mine was blocked, I kept calling gtconnect and the guy there was very unfriendly and rude.

The problem here is the communication gap. MMM has a way of reaching participants through that pop up before login on to PO, like how they advertise for guilders, consultants and even the 20% xmas bonus yesterday. So why can't they use the same method to inform participants of their upgrades, how long it will take and also the fact that they cannot GH for the duration involved. Let say a day or two max , so that people can know ahead and make plans or even prepare their mind for such occurrence.

Considering the negative media war, here and there, and people are still joining the community massively, it beholds on them to be open and avoid things that can create panic as it were.

Some people that GH around 2am were matched, and some have been paid. But others that GH from 6am till dusk, non were matched, not to talk of being paid. This is a critical time , recession plunging into depression. Tension is high, people have given help and are expecting same, nothing happens, only for you to hear about upgrade without any time frame to complete, it is not in the best interest of the community.Quite sad and unprofessional.
