I watched his video on YouTube yesterday saying this. I was like, AJ should do the talking in the ring.

Throwing long Jab to the body, good head movement, making maximum use of the ring floor by moving about, Jab to the body to break the opponent down, use of right hand hook, then avoid close body contact are critical to AJ winning that fatty bum bum Mexican.

Before AJ fought Povetkin, he studied his past fights, then watch his different videos, but before Ruiz, nothing like that. He underrated Ruiz and felt he will just walk in beat him and get his KO.

He knows where he is right now in the ranking of world top 10 boxers,
Just one loss, he is not even in the top 5 any more. No more AJ GLO advert on our screen.
American press was a big detractor to AJ building into his fight on June 1st.Too much radio and tv interviews.
AJ must switch on his best mental alertness in this next fight, no mistakes.

Ike Ibeabuchi would have even beaten all the current boxers if he were to be in his prime now . From Fury,to AJ to Wilder ....

Ibeabuchi remains the most feared boxer to come out of Nigeria to the world.

contract staff have zero rights and can be let go at any time
i was in my company for 14 years, entered after a colleague on contract.
promotion or not, i had an increase every year
colleagues salary was more or less flat for the 14 years

when the person was let go, i am not sure the severance came up to 3m . no gratuity, nada. contract work is a bad place. you are living on hope you will be converted, but it may not happen

i know one guy - they told him you have hnd - get degree. the guy got degree, them no gree, he got master, them no gree. it was all kinds of fked

You are right.
Even the permanent staff, nothing is permanent last last.

With time, many banks will have only contract staff in some key functional roles, especially their operations.

They have reduced Professors to mere messengers for INEC.

Shioor....Professors that ought to soaked themselves in researches, knowledge seeking, book writing, adding new and rare ideas to the body of knowledge, gaining national and international recognitions, going to world best Universities to give lectures, talks, and strictly follow their academic discipline.

Now Professors are roaming about in corridors of powers in all government houses, seeking one manner of appointment to another, some are even vying local government Chairman, some are state government looking for contracts, others are in Federal government looking for a position or another.

Audio Professors..With all our Profs in Engineering, we still have no 24hours electricity in Nigeria.

Recently, some Profs were caught committing plagiarism in writing....

Investment / Re: Investing On Land Or Buying A Car For Uber: Which Is The Better? by aspirebig: 11:12pm On Nov 12, 2019
Both are good.I will elaborately give reasons why.

Land is always appreciating but not everywhere is a prime location.Land is a long term investment while Uber is a short term investment, however, both are good investment options .

Imagine spending 2m on land in Sango Otta vs in Benin city. You will be shocked that your land in Benin will appreciate over the one in Sango after 5 years.

I know many people who build houses inside Ikorodu,Ogijo,Agric, Agbado crossing, Ayobo, ipaja, etc that later leave their houses and go back to being a tenant because bad roads, stress of going back home daily, hold up ,etc. Even to see who to buy those houses, even at a reduced price is a big problem.
They bought those land maybe at 200k per plot. Now the lands is say 2m or more per plot, but the roads are terrible. What about those lands taken over by big bad gullies or erosions, are they not people's land? ,What about the places taken over by flood? Can those land be resold or sold now? They are people 'landed property and investments' too.

I know people who spent 5m naira to buy and build houses in some places, like ten years back and they are regretting it now. Even to see who will buy the house 3m now is not easy, such houses ought to have appreciated to 15 to 20m now it the location was good.

Most people only talk about the good side of land investment but quick to tell you about the bad side of other investments. What about those who were poisoned and later died because of land issues? What about those assassinated because of land tussle. What about those whose land was resold and taken to a more interior part of the city. What about those who bought 2 acres of land when the acres was only 1mnaira each, (note that acres here is 4plots,like 200x200,that is 4x100by100),then when a plot goes for 5m naira, meaning one acre is 20m naira, then the land grabbers (omoniles),will resell the land and give the person his 2m back maybe after 7 to 10 years.
These are facts and real life experiences, not joke.Land matter is not a cup of tea. Many things are involved.
Some buy land in acres and the land grabbers use charm and the person will not even remember the place again and they will resell the land again to new 'victim's,until they met a serious born again with acidic prayers, who used his dangerous prayers to stop and destroy all their demonic scams.

Note that land is easier to dispose off (sell) than a house. If you must invest in a landed properties,do only lands. But only GENUINE land, get ALL necessary papers and fence it,lock it up, or build a small security house so someone can live inside and farm there. You can build a good house in a good serene environment for your comfort and living, not because you have issues with your landlord, then you pack into an incomplete building inside a far away site(bush) in the name of 'being a landlord" and start suffering yourself and your family. Is not worth it. You are killing yourself gradually,
Do not build house as investments because, if you buy land now and build house say, you buy land 5m,and you use 25m to build 4 flats(3bedrooms *4). Making it a total of 30m naira, even if each tenant is paying you 300k yearly which 1.2m yearly, in 20 years, you have not recouped your investment. Remember that agent is fees, money for house miscellaneous repairs are inside that 1.2m yearly.
Secondly, in less than 15 years, whatever you use to build that house will be 'old school', newer houses will be built, yours will lose that modern 'touch'. So it is mostly your children who will inherit and enjoy the investments more.. But you always resell a land easily, without much hassles.

Talking of Uber, is also a good investment option. Many say do Uber, if only you will drive it. But i will not subscribe to that. You can buy cars, say 2Toyota Corollas for Uber @2m each, then get serious minded drivers with guarantors whose has landed properties, then track the cars, and sign an agreement for HP.
HP means hire purchase, then give out the cars for 4m each, the driver will be paying you 200k monthly, in 20 months, the driver must have finished the payment and the cars turns his own and your agreement is over.

So imagine if you have 5 cars like that, monthly you will be making 1m passively without stress, while you continue your normal work.If you drive the car directly, you will even make more than that in 20monthly except you are lazy.
Do not buy Uber and give anyone except for HP, with the car tracked and agreement endorsed with good guarantors in place.Make it strictly business,no stories.
Alternatively, you can invest with fleet partners to take car of your cars, while you get your returns monthly.
These days, people buy cars or pay the equivalent of car worth to fleet partners to manage their investments and this is also oaying well. Imaine you having 10 new Hummer buses with #God is Good Motors...plying Lagos to East, or Lagos to Abuja week in,week out. You will be smiling to bank monthly.

Then from the monthly proceeds, you can now take a loan, buy a land and use the car proceeds to service the loan, instead of tying all your money down in land only.

Now you have a business that pays monthly, and you have also bought a land. What a win win situation.

Whatever choice you make based on your budget,go for only Toyota product, avoid 6 cylinders SUV.

My reasons are:
1.Easy maintenance/Fuel cost.
2.Reselling value (Second hand value)
3.Availability of spare parts.

All the best.

Somethings are better not said.

Supposing he's married without kids, his perceptions on this matter will differ.

How can someone be using his mouth to create unnecessary controversies up and down.

Minus his industry, there are so many couples looking for fruit of the womb these days, and some might even be claiming to be 'marlians".... This is gross insensitivity and high level immaturity.

Honestly, some married women without kids, will cry on this thread for sure, especially those whose mother in laws, husband families, colleagues, friends, are already mocking and those whose age is tilting towards menopause.

What a distraction?

Nigerians never learn o.

2023 Presidential campaign when we just had a Presidential election in February this year.

Nobody is talking of how to stop the masses from suffering, or create employment for youths or put an end to our electricity challenge, or construct durable roads, or even pay workers that owed salaries, or suffering pensioners who have not been paid, or build standard public schools, affordable hospitals,or helping the poor farmers with soft loans,or even help the widows of armed forces who lost their husband while in active service.

These guys drive Black coloured SUVs, and lastest Toyota Hilux Vans ,with armed security men, sometime up to 30 people guiding one man and go in convoys, making noise everywhere as if all is well.

Even the Pastors, are not seeing beyond tithe collection and prosperity messages again.

God is indeed a MERCIFUL God. Hmmmm The atrocities are too much on this land.

Family / Re: My Wife Insists No Sex Until Wedding Night Even After Our Traditional Wedding by aspirebig: 9:16am On Oct 31, 2019
Well, the truth is this.

Maybe for the bar, Op supposed to do white say max, a week after the trad. Money stops nonsense.
That way, his wife will not have any excuse. Those days, most of our parents did simple trad and matter close, white wedding is a white man's culture. Black man just adopted it,as Africans, after your traditional, the wife is 100%yours. No debate on this.Even the church knows this.

Secondly, I don't subscribe to virginity test, is a sheer waste of time, money and too add unnecessary thinking to you.If you do virginity test and she is not a virgin,so will you leave her for another person?Having come this far? Even some doctors can be bribed to say she is virgin, meanwhile na 'old borehole'. So it makes no sense.Shine your eyes.As for no sex till white wedding, the girl has no moral justifications to deny the husband sex.

Coming to the issue of sex before marriage, is a two ways thing. I have seen people that genuinely waited and the babe, I mean a very pretty lady was a confirmed virgin. She was 29plus, almost 30. Someone that attended one of ghe best University around,so is not a question of say, maybe is one local babe.In fact, the guy suffered before he could disvirgin the lady. The guy too is "whatsup" guy, he has had different girl friends, so is not like, he too have not been having sex.Now they have two children, that alone made her husband to love more, trust and worship her that at least,he was not deceived as some people were already telling the man that, guy you are not serious o, how on earth, could this beautiful babe be a virgin? But she was. Also, I have seen another scenario that the lady claimed to be a virgin, not even as pretty as the first lady I talked about, but her husband noticed that she was not, she now claimed that a family friend forced himself on her at age 9. Mind you, both of them were cases of no sex till wedding night.

However, no theory anyway, has it that virgins are the best wife material.Instead of concentrating on this virginity issue, her character, submissiveness, kindness, ability to cook well, interpersonal relationship, moral values, God fearing attributes, ability to manage your home and finance should be the issues on your front burner . Many virgins are bad cook, rude, and very difficult people. We have seen ladies pretending to be "virgin" ,and will even be crying when the man finally met them that the pain is too much, only for the man to later (maybe after few years) find out the the lady has a baby of about 10 years in their village,or she gave birth to the baby as a teenager and the baby is living with her sister or her brother or her mother somewhere. The heart of man is "desperately wicked"so says the holy book.Be wise and vigilant.

Then on the issue of Pastors preaching that she must wait till wedding night, some of these pastors impregnated their wife and later pay her dowry before becoming pastors. Some pastors sleep with church members, married women, teenagers in their church, spinster, choir members and they still preach, no sex till marriage to the same people.

Op,just look before you leap, minus the sex, is there other things she maybe hiding from you?

Education / Re: Sex For Grades FG Laments Sexual Harassment, UNIPORT Unveils Preventive Policy by aspirebig: 9:19am On Oct 30, 2019
Nice one for pushing against this sex for grade issue. More needs to be done.

Another thing that needs to addressed urgently is "BLOCKING or SORTING"in our higher institutions of learning. From Polytecnics, to Colleges of Education, to Universities. It is an open secret. Now students will fail an exam and be bragging, is not "Mr Olu, is it Dr Ope, oh you mean Professor Andy, leave the matter, we go block am, no fear".

Is even worst than 'Sex for grade' because many lecturers, though not all are involved in this, both male and female, they use agents, either a student, mostly class reps, or even non students as agents who usually collect the money, from the students or give them an account number to pay money into.

If you do not pay the money, no matter what you write, your highest grade will be C or D.
If you write, what supposed to give you a 'B',you will get 'E'.
Is very bad.

Is very very serious.A lot of graduates are being screened out during recruitment in reputable establishments because they cannot defend the certificates they possess.

That is why many cannot defend their 1st class and 2:1, #sorting things, while the real people that merit the first class are downgraded to 2:1,then those that actually supposed to be on 2:1, will be on 2:2.

Have you ever wondered why most 3rd class degree holders in Nigeria normally come tops in their classes abroad, when they go for masters after PGD, or even get first class if they go to another another degrees abroad? Is because of those sadist, wicked, frustrated beings called lecturers in their schools in Nigeria, sitting on their matter. Many lecturers are very bias, they don't teach, mark the students scripts, with an open and objective mind, they are partial in their evaluations and this is killing our academics standard. They fail the good ones that cannot "sort" and pass the dull ones that can "sort". Even some rich parents of students in the Universities are not free from this rot, they even pay money to lecturers account as "gift",so it also inflences the lecturers decision when such student is being assessed.

Imagine a bank manager that is writing one of his first semester course in his M.Sc program, will just submit almost an empty script, he just wrote his name, matric number and course code and submit under 30 minutes for an examination of 3 hours, with 6 questions to answer 4,with number being compulsory. These are questions that involves serious thinking and racking of brain.
Then, later he will be in beer parlour and call his lecturer, Sir how work today, the lecturer will answer, o boy, you don see am now,no worry I don see your script, we go arrange am for you. They banker will transfer 20k to the lecturers bank account and when the result is out, the result reads "A (78)". These things happen live in my two eyes, real life story, 'not dem say'...

Students should be encouraged to speak up,have functional suggestion boxes in the school, like in VC or Rector office, students affairs, faculties, departments, SUG offices etc.

Is even worse for those doing their post graduates.

We have many STD and FTD graduates in our country today.
STD is Sexually Transmitted Degrees, while FTD is Financially transmitted Degrees.

What was she expecting before, a minister is serious government role. Is a key strategic office, is it because it is being used as reward to girl friends and political 'errans'boys during election as compensation for a job well done during the presidential election?

Minister is supposed to be very sound, not just intelligent wise but also have a good managerial bird's eye view of all his portfolio in his finger tips, not like that Solomon Dalung, your former Sports minister .

When you listen to some Minister speak, they speak so ignorantly of their supposed 'core operational functions', and you begin to wonder, like"how do we get here as a people"? To give these revered positions to "comedians".

As Fasola how far, he will tell you .
