I endorese this. But why would a man get married to you when he can simply afford to get a maid to take care of a house and also pay that maid to take care of the child he got through a surrogate?. Why voluntary enter himself into the bondage called marriage when he can simply use money to get maids and surrogate that would do everything you're trying to use to hold home to ransom?.

Na to just Hussle enough money buy everything and continue flexing your life with as many women as you want.

#NODRAMA
He can get his maids and pay his bills himself... No objections here
RomanceIf I Ever Marry A Red Piller by athaliya(op):
Been reading alot of "rules" lately online and I laugh to myself because obviously, some people are just making noise online and not ready to do what they brag about but let me indulge them a bit.

I'm talking about the "What is she bringing to the table" gang aka Redpillers

According to them, women only have a v*gina to offer in marriage or a relationship and All Nigerian women are broke hoes (God bless their rich mothers wherever they are).

So let me use myself as an example now...

I founded a limited liability company about 3yrs ago and an NGO about 2yrs ago, been working for about 9yrs now and built my income to about 7 figures monthly. I foot my bills and that of my younger ones myself.

So say I get married to a guy who earns 7 figures too (cus I have realised that broke guys are too much drama grin) and I have agreed to split the bills in the house 50-50.

I hope he knows that the cooking, sweeping, laundry and dish washing will be split 50-50 too?
Infact we would have a time table for domestic chores.

On days that are not my turn, I will lazily wake up by 7am, do absolutely nothing except eat the food cooked by my husband, dress up and zoom off to work while he has to dress the kids up for school and drop the kids off at their school before going to his office. After work, I will eat dinner he cooked and go to bed (he must finish his chores before coming to bed)

Unless he's ready to pay for a chef and a maid (we will split their salaries wink )

Did I just mention kids? Lolzzzz, who will carry the pregnancy? Haaaaa, my work is as important as his own ooo, 9 months is alot of time to be fragile, how will I keep paying my bills and contributing to the family? We had better hire a surrogate and split the bill as well. It shouldn't be more than 3m for everything.

Now the baby(s) is here, who will nurse them? We have to split it as well, I will be considerate enough to always make sure I always pump fresh milk into bottles, but we are buying 2 baby prams, when it's his turn he will take the baby to work as well, or we hire a nanny and split the bill as usual 50-50.

Other things we will split:

1. Children school fees? We'll split it 50-50.
2. I get to give them their first name while he gives them their last name...
3. His friends and relatives need my permission to come same way my friends and relatives need his permission to come.
4. Anyone that comes to our house to stress me will sleep in the police station

Any gift he gives me or mine will be given to him or his as well on a similar day with a 20% interest.
E.g he gifts me N5m on my birthday, I gift him 6m on his birthday
He buys my mum a car worth 10m, I buy his mum a car worth 12m

No gift to my family, no gift to his family.
How he treats my mum during omugwo is how I treat his mum during omugwo or he gets a maid specially for his mum and bears the cost alone.

Doesn't this home sound ideal? No cheating, no liability...

FamilyRe: RE: 4 Out Of 5 Pastors Said She Is My Wife, But We Dont See Eye To Eye by athaliya(f): 8:01am On Jul 08, 2020
novakk:
I earlier posted this story:
https://www.nairaland.com/5694171/4-out-5-pastors-said

In the initial writeup, I said how someone I wasn't getting along with someone I was dating, prayed about it with different people since we were very serious, and how majority said we were meant to be together. I however wasn't fully convinced as we seemed to be different, constantly having little issues, different views and values in life.

Moving to today...
I decided to move on from the supposed "wife". I went with someone that gives me peace of mind. I also thought its better not to live my life based on "pastor said this or that"
However, I've had recurring dreams about the 2nd lady (that gives me peace of mind). The dreams always center around us been together and she suddenly leaving, I won't be able to find her later in the dream. 2 days ago, was the 3rd dream of the same nature.

I am now slightly worried, I don't want to give in to dreams, and want to believe I can pray things are successful and go well between us. Conversely, based on our traditions, maybe I am the one not listening to advice. Between the 1st lady and I are no longer on talking terms.

What do you think? What advice do you have on how best to move forward? I want to learn from other's experience, those who have traveled this road before me.
Read carefully what I'm about to say.

Numbers 12:6
And he said, Hear now my words: If there be a prophet among you, I the LORD will make myself known unto him in a vision, and will speak unto him in a dream.
**************************
God speaks to us through dreams, don't despise visions and dreams. I think Option 2 is your own choice and who you will rather go for than option 1.
There's a thing people do, they take 3 or 4 names to a pastor and ask him to choose. The spirit of discernment in that pastor will pick the best option in the list but the best in that list may not be the will of God for you.
There is Perfect will, there's also permissive will. Perfect will is God's will for you, Permissive will is God allowing you to choose your will instead of his own will.
Perfect will may not be to your taste in the beginning but later in life, you'll see everything work out best for you. Permissive will is your choice and midway, things may not get rosy but there'll be grace to help you cope.

Back to the 2 ladies, the will of God will always give you peace of mind. If God is pointing you to lady 1, pray and ask God to change her character and have a good talk with her, find out what she doesn't like about you and tell her what you don't like too.

Lastly be patient, don't expect a new woman overnight but be patient with her and appreciate the efforts she's making to change.

Pull him down syndrome(PHD) is common with black people and they hate reading.
Bad readers are bad writers, they hate to read same way they hate to write and I think it has gone beyond the habitual laziness and gotten embedded in the DNA.

As a teenager, I loved to read but severally had to stop when I began to get hot heads, pain in the eyes and headaches.
My cousin got migraines from too much solving of furthermaths and a super intelligent friend I know nearly ran mad no jokes. She was out of school for almost a year though some say it's spiritual but I see a pattern.

Before the likes of Chinua Achebe, Cyprian Ekwensi and co, in the late 90s and early 20s we've had no renown authors or even no authors at all. So reading and writing is quite new to the black mind. Still, to show our high untapped intelligence, in the first century we joined tge world of readers, we quickly produced nobel laureate contenders in that field

My humble observation...

Yeah you are quite right. Truth is that i decided to lower my expectations of people cos i realized that we Africans reason along sentimental and culture lines. 'One way reasoning'.
The average black man is okay with food, shelter, clothing, wine and of course sex. He doesnt want to venture beyond his horizon due to mental laziness. He is intelligent, but doesnt harness his potential.
Many Nigerians are very intelligent but they are scarce commodity.
Lolz, exactly. The same culture they don't realised evolved a few hundreds of years. They don't want to change from the ways of their fathers but they don't want to roam around naked anymore as if the clothes they wear today are cultural.

The mind of the average black man is satiated as long as none around him is better than him and if he indeed sees any, he sees it as a threat to his ego and his first instinct is to pull it down.
Loyalty is scarce in this part of the world and they will readily abandon even their gods at the sign of trouble.
Let me stop bashing my people.

I may start a conversation about the Neanderthal but you wouldnt comprehend cos you are used to the Homo Habilis or The big bang theory..So i just keep shut.
Am sure thats what is going through your guys mind. The sort of interest he has is way beyond normal and no one will seem to understand him.
Is his favourite music genre Reggae or Afrobeat?
I faced the same thing with the op, I think I'm smart and vast but my ex isn't smart at all.
He embarrassed me severally in presence of my family and friends, he is only good at issues concerning witches and he sees everything as a witch. We were once having a chat and he got up to chase a lizard saying it's his village people. He used cane to flog a rat to death one day cus the rat was "listening" to his conversations. He moved out of his master bedroom and called his friend over to his place for vigils after he heard a "spiritual snake" hissing.

While I love to talk about anything intellectual, from the Van Allen belt, to horse riding, to quantum physics shown in the flash to Auguste Picard's adventures to even scientific explanation for hypnosis, human psychology bla bla bla.

I stayed with him because he loved me for me, was loyal to a fault and he loved to pamper me but I couldn't bring myself to love him equally. At best I pitied him. I won't add him on social media because I didn't want him to drop embarrassing comments on my timeline. He calls like 15 to 20 times a week just to check up on me and if I have a headache, he will panic.

I started teaching him everything from how to operate a phone, dress smart, throw away dead underwear, correct spellings. I even helped to regulate what kind of pictures he posts on Facebook and the way he poses in the pictures.

I decided to leave when he said I was ashamed of him despite everything he did for me and I was sleeping with my male friends. He said I don't call more than 3times a month which is true because he already calls too much and even if I call, he can't hold a conversation.

He's caring to a fault. Should I have stayed with him?

Because Ikwerre speak igbo language and dress like igbos doesn't mean they are Igbos.
Why do they speak igbo and dress like igbos? Are they slaves? This is a multi cultural country where diversity thrives. Unless they are modern day slaves, why should they bear igbo names, dress like igbo and speak igbo when they hate igbo?

Ebenezar2020:
The French policy of Assimilation had it that all the French colonies Senegal, Cameroon, Togo etc must speak and dress and assimilate the Culture of France even till when they all had Independence they still have that French Culture deeply rooted in their way of life.

You know the answer.

These people you mentioned are French colonies. They are the African French speakers with very strong ties to France so that doesn't apply in this context.
Ikwerre isn't an igbo colony and there is no law today stating they must speak or dress like igbo or even name their children igbo names unless there's something we don't know of that you're not saying

Jesus Christ!!! You are a liar from the pit of hell.

If the Fulani won't relinquish power, do you think they will relinquish Biafra?

In a restructured Nigeria, each province will make their own laws, have their own police, intelligence , language, import their own arms etc and will be able to face the Fulanis head on

Now is the right time yes but please don't ask amiss. I hope you know it's easier for Biafra to secceed from a restructured Nigeria than the current Nigeria. International pressure may help us get restructuring easily than outright division.

This is another problem with Africans in general and Nigerians in particular. It is called insincerity. This is time to push for Biafra or preferably the Republic of Igbo land. Nigeria has clocked more than five decades yet nothing to show for it. We are having this discussion because Nigeria is a piece of shit. I am done with the joke called Nigeria and hope to start anew in a nation not a country.
Yes that is what the igbos need now but I doubt it can be gotten via a direct push. Let me tell you why.
1. Low numbers in the Senate, the North and West will shout it down before it even gathers any momentum.
2. UK benefits from the current structure and will diplomatically kill international resistance. The only countries that can mount international pressure are: USA, France and Israel and they are all UK allies plus the Berlin conference prevents any country from interfering in the affairs of another country and its colonies.
3. Nigeria owes $80B+ internationally, if Biafra secceeds from Nigeria, this debt will remain with Nigeria. We know there's a very high possibility that all or part of Niger-Delta will leave with them. Who will repay China the billions owed? Who will pay IMF / World bank the billions they loaned Nigeria because of crude oil? They will want to protect their interests by ensuring the crude oil is there to repay the loan.
4. The cost for international allies may be too much for the igbo to pay. It may be like a Greek gift for the igbo.

What do you thi k about the following reasons ?

The bolded is one of cardinal reasons Nigeria cannot and will not achieve unity. Like USA, Nigeria fought a war and after the war unlike USA, Nigeria did not reconcile with every section of saga even as I write this post. The Biafrans are regarded as defeated people and had been treated as such. It is a matter of idiocy for Nigerians to happily jump into analogy with USA. Today's USA, the states in the Confederacy have produced more presidents than the states in the Union. In addition, cities in the Confederacy are arguably more developed, at least in numerical, than their counterparts in the Union. This nation building spirit has not been found in Nigeria and will never. As far as I am concerned, anything short total and unconditional disintegration of the shithole called Nigeria is a practical joke.

If every Nigeria saw the January 15, 1966 coup as you posited in second bolded stanza, this discussion should not have taken place. In addition, the goon we have today as president would have sacked from the army because he was not qualified to be a member of Nigerian armed forces officers cadre. Nepotistic tendencies of Tafawa Balewa's government made sure that goons such as Abacha, Buhari, Nasarawa, Isa Bukar, Nathan Nuhu, Nwadikon Pam, Dimpka, etc were pushed into the officer's cadre of Nigerian armed forces. However the visionary young officers were immediately branded as tribal nuts by British and engineered war of attrition on eastern region.

The idea of some folks having resources which supposedly feeds Nigeria and feeling to be worshipped was injected into the skulls by fellow Nigerians and British in order to spite another group. It did not stop at this instance. They even went further to lecture some of the goons wrongly on their forbearers. I will give up any crude oil well in Igbo land in order to have independent Igbo land or even Biafra so that people of the nation can decide to build deep water seaport and international airport anywhere in Biafra territory without idiotic political encumbrance from any section of the shithole called Nigeria.
Only a miracle from God can disintegrate Nigeria. The best we can mount a united front to demand is restructuring
