I had actually patched my receiver b/4 with that patch, but I'am experiencing skipping image on the signals of the four channels opened. Thought you had a newer version of the patch. Still want THANKS, must be hot in kano as the weather 2day in jos is quite sunny. Don't want to imagin how it is in kano

Well I got press Tv after doing a blind scan on Atlantic Bird 4 which is 7 degrees west, same as Nilesat. You might want to try that as you would get more channels. Another satellite in the same direction is Atlantic Bird 3.
Well for a list of satellites in space and their direction as well as the satellite alignment information, I have a software which I would post in the FTA_Google group. Thanks all.

I did a scan on the freq and TP's you posted and was able to get Euronew, press tv, aljazeera children, Nicoledeon and some other channels, thanks for the info. I am in JOS north central Nigeria and use a 1.8m dish, strong decorded. Plz do tell me how to input keyz on strong 4663x( the code that open the screen 4 inputing keyz for channels like showtime). THANKS as always.

Gratings, I have being off the Net for a while as I travelled home 4 a while to rest and escape the pressures of civilisation: Internet, Satellite Tv's, the hustle and bustle of the city and and the Technology industry, It was a very refreshing experience for me as I last went home about four years back. well that said, I also came home over the weekend to find that even Here in JOS I am experiencing the signal Drop in Nilesat transmission as described in the Thread's, though not as bad as my CNN for example which enjoyed a signal strength of 85 now gives b/w 55 and 65.
well I am tempted to realign my dish, would observe for the next two days though. Another problem is that my aljazeera sports channels are freezing even at signal strenght of 70. I thick the repachted the pacth in installed, as this freezing is only experienced on the chennels that was unlocked by the patch. Help needed plz as I not able watch current champion's league, premier and FA cup matches. Thanks as always. NB How do I enter showtime keys on my strong 4663 .

well I loaded a file with the name SRT4661X_4664X_MyTV_121p_20090309.stb on the decorder using the usb and I "patch on" and vo ala the stations opened. my question is does this affect/fry my receiver.  It's good you use the same type decorder any other file you can help me with my Email is ibro_blue@yahoo.com Thanks

well I am in, that's nice, I used version 2. something, really can't remember, would confirm and get back to you. The good news is I am now anxiously awaiting champions league, to see man U dismantle FC porto   The previous version of the software installed was version 1.08 .  I read in the previous posts of the receiver having problem/fried after being patched, enlighten plz and in such a case what can I do? well I am new to this very informative thread, I am a computer Network Admin in jos. I love challenges which is why I challenged myself to get resources and information from the Net( especially) this forum and I was able to set up NileSat behind my house with a 1.8m dish, strong 4663x and just one fuji LNB pointing 7 W. well it was a task trying to get the azimuth and elevation thing right, but I can say it was also a fine learning experience and it boasted my ego. ok this is where I am at now, I want more channels besides the default that comes with NileSat FTA   I installed my NileSat about a week ago and I have being able to get the software for my decorder to unlock aljazeera sport 1,2,3,4 .  now what I want to know is if I can unlock other pay TV channels that appear with the $ sign such as discovery and national geographic channels . Thanks

Well you could format, Note you would lose everything in your system. I would rather suggest you run a Repair on ur system , by booting with your CD(windows OS ) and when prompted on the Log on screen: press Enter , then "R" to repair your sys installation, Your problem is likely a corrupt OS. goodlock
