How about Tinubu the president whom declared the state of emergency. |
educatedfool:Your moniker captures my thought about you...no pun intended, just an honest observation. |
I wonder how Prof.Yakubu Mahmoud sleeps at night, knowing he subverted the wishes and hope of millions of Nigerians in the last flawed elections and by so doing,he has set Nigeria about 50yrs backward....'conscience is an open wound only truth can heal it'! Where lies your conscience. According to the bible 'God will turn the craftiness of the wicked into foolishness'! at the appropriate time, this will come to pass. |
zero8zero:As usual, speaking from both side of your mouth,in one hand you are blaming Igbos for crying more than the bereaved in the case of Benue and Plateau,in the other hand you are accusing Igbos for being in support of the incidence in Benue. You are simply showing suicidal tendencies and you should be kept on watch, hatred and bitterness have ruined whatever is left of your wretched life. So because some people were killed in the East by 'unknown gunmen',then we should keep quiet in the face of obvious ethnic cleansing against the Christian middlebelt states. That will never happen,we shall forever stand by them in theIR quest for justice. We as a people can never be cajoled into supporting evil,it is not in our culture,we always stand by what we believe in. Even the killings in the East,we suspect the 'hands of Esau voice of Jacob' but that's a story for another day. As for Joe Igbokwe, that one is national clown, his statements are only good for comic relief. |
I have observed a trend common with you Yorubas, you always shy away from the truth and always wants to bring unrelated issues to counter truth.I am not to tell if Chinua Achebe was a better novelist than Soyinka, there works all over the world is enough to tell us who is better. We all knew why Chinua was not given a Nobel laureate and his antagonism to neo imperialist but that's story for another day. Wole Soyinka is someone I have always respected so much and deservedly. However as human,I know that he is not infallible but the earlier Prof Soyinka stays away from this government the better for his reputation that he labored for over the years. Goodluck Jonathan honoured him with a national award and he rejected it,citing lack of democratic tenets and few years down the line, his tribes man whom can be judged to be a civilian tyrant, gave him same award and he accepted, that's shameful to me.Even when Rivers state was unjustly handed over to the military. For his image,he could equally have rejected it,that's my take.I just hope he stays away from this government, for his reputation. |
After the death of over 200 people, government keep playing with insecurity,if they really wants to get those murderers, they know how to get at them. Was it not the same Nigerian that went all the way to Kenya to rendition Nnamdi Kalu to Nigeria. With the aid of special drones which we can afford,we can neutralize those bastard terrorists, ofcourse when they are traced from their escape part, they will be tracked down. Look at advance military like Isreal what they are doing with intel, why not we bring in mercenaries to help out. How many people will die for we to know that enough have died. This is so annoying,my heart goes out to the people of Benue,we ndigbo are with you guys. |
We have never had such a terrible parliamentarians, how did we get to the point of assembling gluttons with unquenchable urge for extra dollars as our representatives.Only but a silent minority amongst them still have a semblance of integrity but the rest are akin to 'Ali baba and the forty thieves'. |
APC after annihilating other opposition parties, they will fight theirselves to a standstill, an eminent implosion. |
Misplaced priority,in the face of biting poverty in the land. All in a bid to have extra loot from inflated contracts for the purpose of the 2027 elections. |
Umahi you have given us the amount and kilometers of roads done in both North and South. You can now do better in giving us the total amount and kilometers of roads done in each geopolitical zone,I want to check something. When it suits you guys and to cover-up the obvious favouritism and sectional concentration of projects, you guys cunningly muddle up the whole South into one. Please save Nigerians your rhetorics,we know the truth and what the premeir of western Nigerian region is upto. I can not hold brief for the north because Buhari did worst, sidelined the south east /south south in major railway projects while even extending such to Maradi in Niger and the north was okay with that. Now Tinubu has continued in the APC evil agenda of always having to marginalize the south east and is annoying to see Rotimi Amaechi and Dave Umahi doing the dirty jobs for these wicked tribalistic political hyenas in Abuja. |
Then where is DSS when you need them, there is an Intel from the fishermen that whenever they are crossing over to Nassarawa state in their numbers,it means there is an eminent attack on the indigenous tribes but I guess no preemptive measures were put in place and lo and behold the attacks took place and was a success. This is very annoying and DSS goes around picking people who protests against the government or those whose tweets are not pleasant in their ears. |
Wickedfact:Here you come again,Obidient movement is not basically about Peter Obi,its about Nigerians whom are seeking true change and a better life for both ourselves and children unborn. You can vote whoever you want to vote, just like most of you have continued in the same circle of blunder every 4 years.I'm yet to see a market where things are sold very cheap or given away freely once you identify yourself as Yoruba or APC supporters.Poverty and hunger has no boundary,so whatever choice will make,we live with it. Infact funny enough, more often,it seems that is even those who vote wrongly just to get back at others or to show them 'Shege' according to you,are the ones to be the first to shout'Ebin pawa oo'(we are hungry).Las Las we go dey alright for dis country!!!! |
Dr Ope Banwo, your continuous mentioning of 'hate filled and tribalistic obidients',is some how making you guilty of the same crime you accused them of.You seem to be fanning the embers of tribalism by constantly laying your emphasis on tribe. Accepted there are obidients whom are tribalist but your argument may seem to suggest that Batist(supporters of Tinubu) are any different,it is a known fact that the fan base of Tinubu and its sole agenda is built on tribal hate and worst forms of nepotism. I'm surprised, that few of you the enlightened ones,do not care to call out the group for it's obvious agenda of trying to divide Nigeria on the line of tribe.Even his appointed officials openly carryout this tribal agenda.Which is obvious to every Nigerian. |
This was how during several wars Isreal has fought with Hamas,Hezbollah and other terrorist groups, once they hit one target in Isreal, they go in the street celebrating victory over the Zionist regime, then if Isreal decides to teach them a little lesson, they will use all their propaganda media to start shouting genocide,Al jeezera, press TV and others will go into over drive. If Isreal wants to down hundreds of buildings in Iran today,it will take less than an hour to do so but that's not the aim of the strike. No doubt,Iran definitely is going to harm isreal to an extend and Isreal had since analysed what the consequences of their strike would be and the collateral damages that will be involved before they proceeded. However,we pray for peace, nobody deserves to die,not even the tyrannical Iranians. They should give peace a chance. |
If you observe no one is responding to the Agbadorlans above!you gave figures which are totally false and summed it up to 7kms.Lets even say it is even true, why then did you choose 12 out of the 14 roads he commissioned,so what happens to the remaining 2 or the kms those 2 covered is so much that it can make your criticism look stupid, next time you wish to ridicule a performing governor out of mere jealousy,do it with full details. Obviously,he is not a man that commissioned 30kms of a road that is about 700kms and shamelessly did it with fanfare.even when the project was awarded in the cover of the night to fellow business partners at an amount that is ridiculous. |
Ezmans:You are high on cheap drugs, dont come and compare Abuja with Lagos,Abuja is a lovely and very organized city to live in and maintain your sanity. |
Congrats to the legendary Fela....His excellency, the late president of the defunct Kalakuta Republic! |
These Tinubu goons are so daft for my liking. The correction he pointed out is only good for comic relief,at a time when serious issues of national survival is being discussed, these people just want to divert attention from the real issues on ground. Obi is doing a great job, keeping these polithiefians on their toes. |
crestedaguiyi:These guys can be very funny, backed dated their fact check to first quarter of 2024 rather than 2nd quarter of 2025,when the statement was made. |
This is not right at all, these politicians are rubbishing democracy, certain actions will only portray our politicians as tyrants under democracy. That law by ANSAA is draconian in every sense of it and it's not acceptable. |
There was thread on Nigerian military successfully bombing some bandits in Zamfara and I congratulated them for a work well done. Then I equally said ' take no pr*son*rs,k*ll dem all',I was instantly banned and the comment deleted. So I kept wondering if its a crime to support our military in their efforts to get rid of terrorists in our country. If you observe,I don't want to type the above exact sentence in full because it may earn me another ban. Twice in two different thread I praised the Nigerian army and I was banned! So I'm at a lost what nairaland MODs really wants. |
The Lion of the tribe of Judah! we pray for peace to reign! |
I remember watching a film 'All the president's men'! They are covered and they are law unto themselves, they act with reckless abandon and in the worst form of impunity in whatever they are involved in,yet you can do no sh*t! When it comes to the Chagoury's,its a case of 'see no evil, hear no evil'! |
Our leaders are so insensitive and care less about the populace. The only go for projects to massage their ego and save extra loot for 2027 elections,we are watching these corrupt politicians play with our collective interest. Let's wait for the '30,000 naira per month data boys' to come to their defend this callousness...slaves that loves their chain. |
This is heartbreaking....RIP to the dead. News like this is quite scary, you dont know who is involved, it could be your loved ones. Like the feelings one hard during Bellview,Sosoliso and ADC airline crashes. I remember Kemas Chikwes as the then minister of aviation addressing the press,Borishade was also a minister of aviation on one of the crashes and was pleading with consigned family members to stay calm, that the manifest will be made public. It was terrible! |
As much as I know that Tinubu is only trying to score a cheap political goal, the award on Shehu Sani is well deserving, that guy severally stood his ground against tyrannical regimes. Congrats Mr Shehu Sani. |
The usual sounds, empty promises and political talks, signifying absolutely nothing. |
rainluv:Yeah thanks...just an oversight! |
