dederocs:Lagos is what it is today by the fact that it was the capital of Nigeria and hence, federal strength was used to fix most infrastructures there and until the federal govt decides to decentralized development, nothing will change. If govt could invest half of what it invested in putting up the different ports in Lagos,in portharcourt and calabar,I bet you most people will relocate, dredge Onitsha port to accommodate huge cargoes and see what is left of Lagos. Abuja used to be a glorified village until it was made the federal capital and now,it is beauty to behold.Would you give it to the gwari people that they built Abuja through their dexterity? |
I'm sure that most of they 'we are from Lagos gang',dont even know what VAT means. If all the oil companies decides to remit their VATs to the communities where they are mining the oil and all the banks and telecom companies decides to remit their VAT to the communities where they render services and not the headquarters in Lagos. Those from Iragbaji in Osun or from Ekiti or Ondo will stop disturbing our peace that they are all from Lagos. |
slimfit1:Yoruba man no get the balls to probe a core northerner, that's why all fight against corruption ends with Emeifele the former CBN governor. To the cowards ruling us,Emeifele is all that was wrong with the past government. Anyway every dog has a master, for these present dogs, the core North remains the master.Know this and know peace! How do you expect the same national clowns whom where jostling to get a mere endorsement from Buhari do otherwise. 'You must fear fear now'! |
Rather than accepting the obvious violation of the right of the innocent ones among these people and proven case of extortion, they are now trying to change the narratives. What stops you from prosecuting those indicted and allowing the genuine businessmen at the market to continue with their businesses, now you want to impose a general unfair levy on all. Just accept your infraction like your brother at JAMB did. |
It is saddening that despite the terrible economic condition this present government put Nigerians into, they still have some form of hidden ethnic agenda, trying very much to see if they could send a section of the business populace into economic mess. How could you as a government almost always continually give the impression, rightly or wrongly that you lack compassion and so petty to the point of promoting ethnic divisions. Tell me,if these were Yorubas, would INEC demand #700,000 from them? Now most government institutions are playing into this pettiness, from JAMB to NAFDAC to CBN the list goes on. We told them,we are going to escalate this issue beyond their expectations, they thought we were joking.Let me repeat this again, they will vomit every kobo they extorted from those traders. |
May the soul of Rev fr Omeh and all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God,rest in perfect peace Amen! |
Nijaforward:More like a loser's cup, that will make sense! Atleast may be they will get a trophy through it |
Anambra state is very fertile and receptive to businesses, its always a tale of one success or the other, every investment made in Anambra state always brings great returns. The middle class that has since died off in most states of Nigeria,is still very much active and buoyant in Anambra state, reason businesses thrives very well in that state.Local and Foriegn investment keep coming in and money greatly exchanges hand in the state. Anambra state is a business man best kept secret, from Awka to Onitsha, from Obosi to Nnewi, from Egwulobia to Ihiala, the list goes on. |
They know the truth,in the words of Chinua Achebe 'the only thing that unites other tribes in Nigeria,is their common hatred for the igbos'. Not like they love each other, remove the Igbos from Nigeria and the geographical contraption called Nigeria will collapse like a pack of card. Know this and know peace!Let's keep sharing love,it is engrained in our culture. |
They just checked the name and left in anger and shame....they know themselves. |
If this is true, don't worry VDM,we have the network to escalate it beyond Nigeria...I pray is not true because at the end, they will vomit every kobo they must have taken from these hard working Nigerians. |
Nigeria,theater of the absurd! |
Better words have never been used to describe APC! Lamido, saying it as it is. |
Congrats to the Nigerian army, keep it hot, take no prisoners...God will see you all through! |
24 appointments were made,11 went to the North,13 to the south, can we please know who and who got the 13 that went to the south....the premier of south west region seems to be hiding the complete list. Anyway,na who ur appointment epp? |
Nigeria,theatre of the absurd! |
Just watch and see how it will be swept under the carpet by the puppet senate...I told you guys, that the only thing you can get from this Yoruba govt,is bigotry, nepotism, tribalism and more marginalization.Tinubu is a local champion,he thinks the world starts and end in Lagos and its sister states. |
They have also moved to the North acquiring massive native lands, this is an eye opener to prospective customers. |
Congratulations to the iron lady,an amazon,a woman of substance,Ada eji ejemba,Ada dioranma, the voice of the voiceless,a woman of integrity and of course 'madam due process'. Go handle the appointment in your usual meticulous way of doing things. |
Jungleboi:I actually love that part of your statement, where you said 'delete this club',I wish I have the power to do that and I will gladly grant your wish. This is not the end of the world, may be within 3-5yrs time, you guys may make it to the champions league again. |
[quote author=Nazgul post=135455590]This game should be a walk in the park for Manutd. We're already in the UCL. Btw can you say this with conviction,a MAN U that had 30 points in the league by December 2024 and as at May 2025,MAN U have 39 points, meaning for 5 months they got only 9 points. Bro,it can only get worst,MAN U is not yet ready for football, until then. |
Tinubu will be retired to Lagos, atleast the son would be the governor by then....since Lagos is their private estate,he can keep himself busy there giving his son fatherly advice. Nigerians need a breath of fresh air! |
Democracy is so beautiful when practice in the right manner but the way African politicians are going about it, is indirectly inviting the military to take over. Ordinarily, once there is a coup d'tat, the masses should in unison rise against the junta but people are beginning to think otherwise, people are now doubting what they used to believe in.Africans in particular have had bitter experiences with the sit tight serial looting political leaders and people are asking for a breath of fresh air. Socio economic and political analysts thinks that military government is cheaper for Africa,no parliamentarians, laws are made by Enacting decrees. However,I'm of this school of thought that 'govt of the people by the people' still remains the best system of governance, democracy is beautiful.it gives total liberty to the people and a say on how they are governed. |
YorubaLord:Going by your assertion,it then means that Igbos are way ahead of you guys in academics, imagine occupying 50% of your universities and dominant in their own region,at this rate, given 10 more years,Igbos may dominate you in the universities in your zone by 90%. The joke is on you. |
The police should take over from here,in saner climes, the first thing to do is to post the picture of the escapees on every platform accompanied with this plea that the public should notify the authority in case you come across them. With specific warning of how dangerous they criminals are and the kind of crime they were involved in.May be a serial killer or paedophile etc. |
Men this is not reasonable at all,why set their homes on fire, every ethnic group have their fair share of criminals. The best option would have been to allow the police to do their job and rout out the criminals. This equally shows that Nigerians are losing faith in our government institutions and can no longer trust them with administering justice. Too bad! |
Inviting the president to commission a project is a normal thing which over the years has been so.Rather the president coming around to commission project signifies that the president is impressed with the governor's performance. Don't forget that both Obasanjo and Peter Obi have commissioned one project or the other in Abia state for gov.Otti. |
It was out of mere extremism and misadventure in Zamfara, the then governor insisted that they will practice sharia law in a secular nation like Nigeria, Obasanjo did all he could to calm it down during his tenure, but guess what?it strengthened different radical groups to come up with their own version of islam. What did they North got from it?Boko Haram, terrorists herdsmen,Lukurawa,ISWAP and a host of others, with the list still counting. |
FFK is acting too childish,we are beginning to understand that a certain culture in Nigeria permits pettiness even at the highest level,I feel diminished as human sharing the same space with certain people....I dey shame on behalf of these people. In other places, miscreants carryout certain acts but for these people,it seems their leaders are miscreants. Less I forget,Fayemi an ex governor whom was with Obi,was not mentioned. |
kmaster007:I'm not justifying it but these are they kind of issues you get in failed economies, the political leaders whom through their serial looting and gluttony have made such a man a victim. Let government provide these highly subsidized stalls in different localities and then aggressively go after those who are into street trading, that's how things atleast should be done. |
The situation of MAN U is particularly a big worry,a team that had 30 points by December 2024 and five months later, being May 2024 still have 39 points,i.e 9 points in 5 months and you want to go to Champions league to do what?Normally they should be relegated by the English FA via express order. |
