Can this happen in higher climes?the answer is NO. Nigeria is a banana republic where politicians act with reckless impunity and yet, some sub humans among us defend them. First of all,the national clown should be arrested and made to face the law. |
Proudlyngwa:While those aforementioned are assumed to be having peace of mind wherever they are, such can not be said about those evil leaders that passed away.Even if you do not believe in the religious view, nature has a way of rewarding bad or good. While their offspring here on earth may equally bear some of the consequences of their evil parents, Idi Amin,Mobutu Seseseko or even Osama Bin Laden's son will almost always need to hide their identities,as many people still bear grudges with their parents and often see these kid's as coming from evil offspring. Mahatma Gandhi's children will be revered and people tend to treat them with utmost kindness. |
Though England lost woefully yesterday to Senegal but I was still not happy seeing some of the players whom should play for Nigeria in the English team and they were about the top performers for England. Chidebere Eze and Noni Madueke putting on English Jersey when they could have represented Nigeria, only if things were actually working right in Nigeria. Anyway,no need crying over spilled milk! Let's hope for a new Nigeria that is possible! |
This op is daft,a man talked about a house he bought when he was only 35years in abroad, years before he even joined politics,so how is that your business and even at it,by time he granted the second interview after being a governor,he may have sold the old one or bequeathed to his son.Atleast it has nothing to do with stolen money. How about Bullion van man, whom as a serial looter, i'm sure can no longer count the number of his properties, all gotten from public coffers. |
The Yoruba op and always trying to distort the truth... thankGod nobody was killed, that Chukwumerije's son,is a nice guy, youthful and very intelligent,i pray nothing happens to him. |
Funny enough,I was told of a nurse in a particular hospital in the city I stay, that is so addicted to pentazocine, that whenever she's on duty, she finds a way of getting the medicine from the hospital pharmacy, with fake presentation that it is meant for a patient however the hospital now suspected her and have now placed the medicine in secured stores and can only be dispatched with detailed reports. I learnt she started using it because of the stress of work and sooner than later, she became so use to it. |
The man with the midas touch. |
nairalanda1:Strasbourg success is as a result of Chelsea co-owner investing in the club,as such,it is Chelsea sister club,Chelsea send their young lads to the club for necessary playing time, thereby feeding Strasbourg with needed man power to breakthrough in the farmers league. Dont also forget that anything that links with Chelsea, comes with some level of success. |
Great novelist,he also authored the book 'EMEKA',which is more of a biography of colonel Emeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, leader of the breakaway Republic of Biafra. As we mourn Federick Forsyth, it is a reminder to us Ndigbo that 'there was a country',an unfilled dream that must remain in our mind, while thriving in our daily endeavors,we should know that Africa and blacks are waiting for that black nation that will bring about true liberation and emancipation of blacks,we should hopefully believe that as the 'sun rise in the east',so will the oppressed 'people of colour' worldwide fine solace in the 'land of the rising sun'! |
Political talks!simply to massage the ego of senator orji uzor kalu. You have working template and you didn't make use of it,only for Otti who is now changing the face of Abia state to tell you on your day of visit that your working template is what he is using. Anyway no wahala. |
RIP....so sad a news! |
'Iron sharpens iron'-bible You are a wise son of your father....the world is waiting for you! |
McPolomy:Say no more! Apt and on point. |
BabaIbo:Tell me something! and you didn't notice it in presidents from the North but only the ones from the south.....I didn't take your statement serious when you didn't mention Buhari, a national calamity. |
Kemetian:Why do you guys always call out easterners for all your problems...an individual challenge you in a Faceless forum, your defence line is to call out Easterners.Yet you are the first to accuse Easterners of hate, you guys are disgusting on how you reason atimes. |
Sheuns:Their lies were bursted, the disjointed road they commissioned and claimed it was 30km of finished work is nothing but a modern day scam.I watched the video of the guy whom travelled on the road to the 30km meter point,it showed that Nigeria is in for a long thing. Where some parts have not even been sand filled even before the 15 to 20kms and at the exact 30 kilometers stretch, the roads have not been paved,it looked more like a structural indecision, they are confused what to do or where to continue from. The question is,is there something these goons are hiding from the people?is there a hidden agenda about this project? Your guess is as good as mine. |
These people are so shameless, they have reduced governance to caricature. When you lie a new lie, to cover an old lie,you build a mountain of lies around yourself,to the point that you become dillusional and can no longer differentiate lies from truth even when you want to be honest. That's the stage this present APC leadership finds itself. It's a pity how we derailed from the path of progress to this shameless stage. My heart bleeds! |

olawaleatanda:Much better economy,we sent our kids to schools of our choice, businesses were thriving, cost of living was much cheaper, naira had more value,we could buy fuel with the little coins in our pocket, good medical services was much cheaper,we could travel from one state to the other without first writing our 'will'.When we are aggrieved with the government policy we were allowed to protest without being arrested.People were not judged by the colour of their skin or tribe but on the quality of their character, tribalism was not taken to the level of state policy, the list goes on and on. 'Nigeria a paradise lost'...APC is a tragedy waiting to happen. |
Peter Obi,the man with the midas touch. PO obviously is a public institution where people tap knowledge from.A leader with empathy,Peter we know,a new Nigeria is possible!!! |
Unity at whose expense?...tell me another story! |
Nigeria,a nation that shot itself on the foot!.....just to be politically right. |
Why does it seem that almost all appointees of this present government have crimes hanging on their head,is the present Nigerian govt a clandestine organization or a Mafiaso family? |
RIP to this true legend, people like this are like avatar, the come ones in a life time. His sense of story telling is exceptional, even after several years, when you listen to his story telling music, you keep tapping knowledge from it. Adieu Mike Ejeagha! |
When government institutions are headed by tribalist and very petty people, the main goal of the organization will be defeated.Take a look at NDLEA headed by rtd gen. Buba Marwa applauded for his wonderful job of meticulously apprehending drug barons in our society and even the consumers, regardless of whose ox is gored. He is very patriotic and nationalistic in carrying out his duties. Comparably, this can not be said of these other institutions headed by percieved tribalist, very petty people whose only mission is to get back at those they think are not in the good book of the presidency.Need I mention,NAFDAC,JAMB,EFCC etc, funny enough, these organizations are headed by people from south west. The question is this, nobody complains of tribal agenda in organizations headed by Nigerians of other ethnic group, why always the ones headed by these unrepentant tribalist from the same ethnic group. As NAFDAC,get the bad boys selling fake drugs to face the law but allow other businesses and business men do there businesses without any form of extortion or disturbance whatsoever. Be ready for more litigations. |
valuedammy:You got it right until you now said for 'mobilizing people to vote for Tinubu'.Who did he mobilize, who can he mobilize in Rivers, the truth is that he was rewarded for rigging the vote for Tinubu in Rivers state and those whom are so angry, where asked To go to court and we all know those who controls the judiciary. |
I said it,the coming of APC in Nigerian politics, have set this country 50years back, they APC leaders are group of petty ethnic jingoist whom never had the interest of Nigeria at heart. The question is how did we get here?to the point were supposed president now see the nation from tribal prism. It is such a shame that we keep making the same circle of mistakes every 4 years. APC has destroyed this nation more than any war could have, bunch of ethnic supremacists..I spit! |
Olabest911:Do exactly what?how many votes can these polithiefians give in an election,if not using state apparatus to rig elections. The truth is that Nigeria have been thrown to the dogs. The political hyenas in Abuja have ridiculed 'democracy',but sooner or later, the natural process of change will take place....it will come when they will never expect it. They have destroyed all democratic institutions built over the years with unprecedented corruption. |
Goodnewsforlife:....simply because you can't make it there.Your men are too weak to compete on a level ground without govt assistance. Olodo, the joke is on you. |
