take dat: Yerima worked for Shekarau during the 2011 presidential election, and Buhari had almost 90% of the votes in Yerima and Shekarau's domain. They are no match at all for Buhari.thanks for the info. |
haka_nai: Yerima controling 3 states? that is seriously exaggerated and doubtful.Give him maybe,Zamfara. That said he is is nobody in Islamic affairs as far as Nigeria Muslims are concerned. If the president or some people see this man as the representative of the Muslim Ummah in Nigeria, then that person is taken for a long ride and seriously mistaken. The Islamic affairs lay with NSCIA headed by the sultan or bodies of Ulammahs belonging to different denominations.Im not a Muslim so please who is Buhari in Islamic affairs? pls enlighten us. |
take dat: And you believe this "story"? Apart from the fact that Yerima's influence is limited to two or threes states in the North, why would Jonathan drop Sambo for a Yerima that carries a lot of baggage? Yerima and co are no longer Islamists because they are now in GEJ's camp? If GEJ anoints Yerima as vice for 2015 election, PDP will not only implode it'll also explode.Am not sure yerima is the best like you said but he is a better election winner than sambo.GEJ may be thinking that one way to counter Buhari is to use Yerima, a core islamist who as governor first implemented sharia. Na thief dem dey use catch thief as the saying goes. what you may think is baggage is an asset when it comes to winning elections in the north. The north will vote seriously on religious lines. Back to sambo. he couldn't even deliver his state in 2011 so he wouldn't bring much. GEJ will have to heavily compensate him because if makes trouble it'll be bad for GEJ. Apart from reducing buhari's potency this move will effectively nullify whatever plans Tambuwal and his cohorts are hoping on from that region and the negotiating power they hope to use in PDP or APC. Probably thats why tambuwal has been back tracking recently. Yerima is so powerful that PDP did not rig in his state during OBJ. |

That he was killed there tell s u something about who is harboring him and make u understand what you'll be getting into if you let those people into power |
slimghost: Briggs blasted him too. My friend go and sit down for gutter. You are an incurable hypocrite and sycophant.Dont mind them The almost complete ignorance of knowledgeable people in this forum abt Niger Delta events apart from the negative ones is alarming and almost makes me want to excuse our leaders in this regard considering that they are not a intelligent as people on this forum. GEJ has vocal critics in all the creeks. You expect then to keep quiet? Has the Niger Delta issue been resolved? |
take dat: There are many Yorubas even on this board, who don't mince words when speaking against the OBJ's, Tinubu's and co. But we know how Niger-Deltans kowtow to Jonathan. How about amaechi, tam david-west, sylva etc. If you live in port harcourt you will know that they do not mince words to criticize him when he does bad. |
Sincere 9gerian: Ngige's declaration is dead on arrival. We want Soludo.Dead on arrival only in your troubled and jaundiced mind. Do you understand Anambra politics at all? Without the incumbent contesting Ngige is the man to beat in Anambra. Anambra will definitely vote APC for governor and then massively vote PDP in the presidential |
olatomiwa: Pity! This forum has been infliterated by paid publicists from the Presidency. It is soooo obviouswhat is also obvious is that it seems the paymasters of Gbawe, eko ile, dayokanu etc are no longer paying up. that's why they seem to have beat a retreat. They may have even created some other handles to support GEJ so as to justify their pay from their people. |
Garri the 1st: More money for GEJ and his gang to chop!!!A corrupt person like you will naturally think every move involves corrution. Keep wallowing in ur psychological condition. |
We should be careful to not swallow any bait hook, line., and sinker. This guy may be prepping us for a planned eventual cancellation of some results and that would affect election results. Anambra politics is complicated. watch every story that is sold to you. |
dayokanu: Tinubu goes to the US regularly, he was at the last yr Democratic convention why was he not arrested>?You're a seasoned member of this forum and im sure some people look up to ur handle. But what the hell does the above post imply? Because he has not been arrested means he is innocent? Means he is not looting in Lagos? For your information IBB, OBJ, Odili, etc are still walking free. pls dont expose urself here. im one of ur follow ers in the sports section |
Sincere 9gerian: Some of the reports of Tinubu's mindless looting are enough to stir up riots in Lagos but surprisingly no one is complaining. We dont know whyLagosians are behaving like hypnotized people. Thats why he is having a field day. The quietness of lagosians is giving him the boldness to try to extend his looting to Nigeria. @OP are u a learner? Why are are u asking who is more corrupt between Jonathan and Tinubu? It is definitely Tinubu |
This is an opportunity for Jonathan to nail the opposition. He missed it. I'm sure the opposition cannot believe what they are getting by Jonathan's lack lustre political savvy |
Can anybody try to refute anything the first poster on this thread wrote about? TO WHOM MUCH IS GIVEN MUCH IS EXPECTED FASHOLA HAS BEEN GIVEN MUCH. WE SHOULD EXPECT MUCH FROM HIM |
boron10: www.vanguardngr.com/2013/07/herdsmen-kill-3-raze-houses-in-nasarawa/GEJ is repsonsible for this because he poisoned the minds of the herdsmen against their neighbours. He made them still see the middle belt as a conquered territory and their vast estate whose farmalnds they are at liberty to plunder as food for their cattle. Because GEJ is in power, they do not see anything wrong in allowing their cattle feed on extensive farmlands borne out of human toil. Because of him and him alone they'll never change their cattle grazing style in the face of modernity, increased population, and increased pressure on land. He made them to value cattle nore than human life. He made them see themselves as having been born to rule in the government, civil service, farmlands,cattle-rearing fields . He is responsible for underdeveloping the North over the years since independence thereby causing poverty which we are seeing the aftermath. They see him as their leader and anytime they attack, he doesn't come out to condemn. He pretends he didn't hear. He swore he will make the country ungovernable. It is GEJ and only GEJ. |
ndu_chucks: Even 50 years later, people are still in denial of the fact that Ojukwu's eyes were on the oil in the region with the goal of lording over all the minority groups in biafra. Brilliant idea if it had worked. All other tales about what Ojukwu and his peeps were fighting for is just that - tales by the moonlight. Why then did Ojukwu not surrender after the Niger Delta was lost? Biafrans would have been lost if Nigeria held on to the oil and stopped the war. The biggest battales of the war were fought after the Niger delta battles. |
ijaw citizen: Is it not the same Amadi that was indicted in the Oputa panel report for mass murder in the Niger Delta? If you are looking for those who have treated the Niger Delta most unfairly and all you can do is to look in the direction of the igbos and not towards the people who've been in charge of the country since independence, people who killed Saro-Wiwa and Isaac Boro, who were shooting at anything that was moving in the delta, that shows you are myopic. My questions to you: Between the SS and SE, who are most vocal in the support for GEJ? Which geo-political zone is most empathetic towards the Niger Delta? |
SW should take this as a indication of what is to come if Buhari gets the presidency in 2015. In a bid to discredit Jonathan, they shouldn't run to Buhari's camp like a cows rushing from the truck (uncomfortable place) to the abattoir (place of slaughter). |
franchizy: I ve said it over and over dat d only solution to dis Boko Haram menace is 4 GEJ to suspend the state of emergency, appologise to the Northern Elders forum, dialogue and grant Boko Haram Amnesty, rebuild all mosque. The military can't win d war cos 80% of Boko Haram are from d SS, SE and SW and are christians who are used to tannish d image of d North and kill our people but Allah will fight 4 d North and vindicate us.Are you high? You and your mentor buharam are definitely cosuming illegal materials. |
The want to frustrate Jonathan and empower Boko Haram |
Aderostock: maybe you are ignorant about the said road. At present, FG is collecting tolls despite being in a deplorable condition.People who go to the international airport from Ajao estate don't pay any toll. That's the portion that Fashola was thinking about tolling. For you information. Inside info is that they carried out the economic analysis and determined that is the most profitable stretch of road to toll in Lagos because. It is only 4.2km. Notice the emphasis on the distance. Look at the other toll road and bridge- Considering the distance of Lekki road and attendant costs and also the cost of the Ikoyi bridge you'll see that even with less cars you're better of investing there where you'll even face even less resistance. |
6Willywilly: Haahaaaahaaaaaa, I'm laughing at Tivs.dont desecend so low. why are laughing at them? |
6Willywilly: Haahaaaahaaaaaa, I'm laughing at Tivs.dont desecend so low. why are uaughing at them |
Aderostock: because that's the way to go and the future. even currently FG is collecting tolls at the airport despite being in a deteriorate and deplorable state. He and Tinubu wanted to make money off the road by tolling and at the same time be calling the govt bad names. They simply want to profiteer. I dont know why people find it difficult to understand. All of you that are supporting tolls. I wonder what you'll say if the FG does the road and tolls it. |
GEJ is responsible. He recruited and radicalised th bombers. Their training ground is right behind his place and he refused to report them. He gave them guns. After setting Borno on fire he has the audacity to seek to be BOT chair for a party of peace and liberation. GEJ is their secret agent. He is working with them to actualise their dream- to islamise Nigeria. Naija people will be bombed into submission. His aim is to create chaos and anarchy in the North. He believes he is born to rule and that the rest of Nigerians are conquered people. As usual GEJ TAKES ALL THE BLAME. #obsessedwithblamingjonathan |
GEJ is responsible. This kind of thing should have been prevented by a responsible FG whose number one priority shoul be the security of its citizens. the state and local gov't s should not be blamed at all. same for the security agencies and the ritualists. Its is GEJ. His irresponsible govt drove the perpetuators into this. What about those who were killed before GEJ came to power? He is still responsible because he polluted the country with his bad luck even as a VP. #obsessedwithblamingJonathan |
NONE OF THE ABOVE OPTION SHOULD BE THERE OOO |
And they say nothing is happening |
