There are regions in the Delta that have deep historical relationships with Igbos not your Warri.

The man in Owerri is more related to an Ikwerre man than the man in Enugu.
The man in Bende and Arochukwu has exchanged cultural ideas with the Efik and Ibibio people for many centuries.
My response has nothing to do with claiming,it is rather aimed at debunking your hollow premise that Niger delta has nothing in common with Igbos.
Ironically, the whole of Niger Delta is filled with people who are more related to Igbos than they are to themselves.

You keep mentioning Delta groups,I just listed the Major tribes in Delta state, and none of them have anything in common with Igbos.

Many South South groups in the Niger Delta are off shoots of Igbos that intermarried and mingled with other Delta groups for thousands of years. Some of them speak Igbo as a first language,others speak igbo as a lingua franca while Igbos in some fringe communities speak some non Igbo languages.
Historically, Igbos have had alliances and cultural exchange with Efiks, Ibibios, Annang, Ijaws and Benin groups.
So who are you deceiving? Historically and genetically, Niger groups and igbos share similar ancestors. Niger delta is just a geo-political area,it is not a unique 'family' group in Nigeria.
