Hello guys,

I recently got a Skoda fabia 2007 from a Nairaland seller. Its been one issue or another. I won't say I regret it but I've decided to tackle the issues. Recently, the car jerks almost every minute. If I step on the brake to the end and then want to accelerate, it'll stop accelerating and just be crawling and jerking. Sometimes when I step on brake and accelerate, the engine will turn off.
I've been to autocare shops and the car was scanned for issues. I've spent a lot to buy a new fuel pump, injector cleaner, service the nozzle, clean the exhaust, top up the oil and even clean the spark plugs.
But its getting worse. I'm really fed up and need a specialist on Skoda cars in Lagos, preferably on the island to help me fix it.

My car consumes too much fuel, with no check lights on the dash. It's just too obvious. I drove a v6 car and noticed the difference. Is there any trick behind this? Car in question is a l4 2000 accord.

Is ur thermostat removed?
Is ur fan runing direct?
Is ur oxygen sensor still functioning?
are u using the recommended engine oil ?
All this will contribute to higher fuel consumption.
