Please how do I diagnosed this codes

You are runing this engine below optimum temperature thereby the engine oil has turned to sludge and blocking vvt oil passage way .
Try to flush the sludge off the engine as much as possible also clean the vvt solenoid and filter .
connect the engine fan according spec and install the thermostat.

Could be caused by failed top gasket, failed/wrong radiator cap, engine block strip bolt head, failed thermostat, failed water pump, failing fans etc

I can even add more to your list to make up to 100 possibilities .Now the big question is how would you test for all these with the least amount of resources, effort and time .This is where test ,troubleshooting and more troubleshooting come in which we don't give attention to.

Our gurus pls I need help.

My Pathfinder want to kill me. Just today alone I changed 4 fuel pump. Once rewire put new pump the car will accelerate well but after like 10 minutes it will do as if there is no fuel and off. Once I start the car again it will repeat the same process. Sometimes it won't work more than 5 minutes before it off. From what I noticed the return pipe on top of the engine was just spitting fuel, not rushing.

I was told the last fuel pump I bought is the best, the issue still persist.


I used the car this morning again and it work well but after some minutes it started again.
I off and rest for some minutes and it started running again. After some minutes it jerk again.

Changed 4 fuel pump already and people are still saying is fuel pump.

Pls I need help on what to do.

I don't want to become mechanic friend.

Change your mechanic cos at this rate you soon get to the 10th fuel pump

Go for pressure test on your cooling system, that is the dedicated test to troubleshoot 90% of overheating issues and the culprit will be revealed in few minutes. Effort to change parts without going for standards test will always end in waste of money and time.

If the noise is internal to the compressor other than bearings noise then it about changing the compressor

I was told about 2 months ago to change the compressor and condenser.
Out of curiosity, why did the AC cool so well when i bought a brand new battery for the car...any explanation please

There is no relationship between change of battery and increase in ac performance, the main essence of a battery is to crank the engine engine and after that your alternator take over power management ,which is why I will always advocate for physical definite diagnosis and making inference from technical data other than online car owner observation has been done here.

My AC cools when on top speed but when stationery it does not cool.
I bought a new battery 3 weeks ago and upon starting my AC began to cools very very well but now it has gone back to the same problem.
If i step on throttle when parked, the ac cools.
My car drags during first take off after it is parked for long and i suspect the injectors need servicing.
Pls what do u advice as regards my AC.

The culprit is likely your compressor going bad but it is not professional to make a guess wehn adequate test has not been carried out.
So get a technican that is equipped with ac manifold Guage and has skill to interpret manifold pressure reading of liquid and suction side pressure on the ac system
At different rpm reading of low engine speed and high engine speed he will be able to see the compressor output and from their deduce whatever is happening.

Air-conditioner coming on reduces engine power ?that doesn't add up.Your model of vehicle ac compressor contribution to load on your engine is negligible unless somebody has tampered with something.

Seems not to get it why our technician hands Is always faster than their brain.i am sure if allowed he will still go ahead to change the transmission and brainbox then and if no improvements his no will not be reachable again .

I am surprised others say they are not related. When am driving the sensor goes off and AC stops cooling, sensor comes on and AC continues to cool. They are definitely related.

Wen it comes to modern vehicle, everything is interconnected that is why even as a simple as faulty abs sensor can cause your big wahala for your transmissions .

Ambient temperature sensor at the front bumper is faulty. Ac system need the sensor signal to determine the outside temperature so as to know the level to set the coldness of ac inside the cabin.

When you put on the car the temperature guage comes on blue colour and later goes off...My question is if the car is about to overheat how will one know? Will it still show on the temperature guage as blue or red or it will not show at all?

There is nothing to service on a compressor that is going bad .

Hello guys, I noticed little oil leaks between my car engine cylinder head and block some days ago. My mechanic said it could be head gasket failure or warp cylinder head.

Is it possible for oil to leak externally without mixing with the coolant or coolant not in engine oil?

Note; engine is 2az for camry 2007

Is your car misfiring as a result of the leakage of oil and if not then the source if leakage is none of the above .

most toks are already on their way out and some seller have already refurbished it ,so don't even try it at all .

Depending on your pocket cos you will need new compressor for auto not toks and professional ac technicians to do a factory recommended job ,otherwise just opt for manual jejely

Futher test is required on cylinder 4 to determine the issue .From the information supplied already ,issue is tending towards mechanical integrity issue on the engine.

In this 8-8yrs regime nothing can left wasted. I found out I have more than half of this costal oil in my store and my two generators need oil servicing. Can I use this same car oil for them?

Pls will affect the generators output ?

Don't, check what is inside your manual, I doubt if any generator manufacturer recommendation such .

If I am less busy I can check tru the wiring diagram and give u the likely culprit that can shut down all the windows

It is logical to think that along this thought process that all the individual 4 windows mechanical mechanism :motors,glass ,winders etc cannot all be down at the same time so the issue cannot be panel- related but still electrical cos it still electrical circuits that all the 4 windows shares .
So the issue is still a very simple one but it your electrician is unable to connect the dots

My compressor was serviced in November ( later heard from another person that there is no need to service the compressor), gas filled and cabin filter changed but still the AC system isn't performing well, went back to the technician two days after, he diagnosed and he saw dirts pumping out of the hose, he said we are going to change the compressor, condenser and most likely dryer.

Before then, two different people have blocked acclaimed leakages in the hose and filled the gas but it just works for few days and that's all.... My car is honda civic 06.


Which way forward?

Since the system is already confirmed to carry debris , with attempted history of repair already carried out on the compressor coupled with another history of leaks (air and moisture already in the system) then any more attempt for repair might end up on another round of disaster. (System has already gone tru alot of abuse )
Best bet is to change and replace all the vital components :
compressor, condenser, expansion valve , the evaporator with the whole system trippled flushed thoroughly with good flushing sokvent before installing the new component cos any leftover debris can crush the new components installed
Moreso ,after installation of the new components, dont forget to vacuum the system as well and check for leaks before introducing the refrigerant if you really want ac system that can stand the test of time .Engage a good ac professional with modern tools to handles this for you as anything short of manufacturer recommended ac instalation process can result going back to its initial problem status .

Could it be that the fan belt has issues and it's causing it? I hear sound from the belt but the belt isn't lagging.

It a possibility too if the fan belt is not well tightened to spec will affect the needed compressor speed

a mechanic worked on my car, but unfortunately he didn't tighten the compressor properly, instead of tightening all the three bolt, he only tightened two, while driving one of the bolt became loosed, the compressor started shaking while working and i didn't realized on time and before i knew it the oil and gas escaped between the clutch and compressor, someone checked it and said the shaft seal has been affected and i need to replace it.

You are better off replacing the compressor as it must have suffered some lubrication issue.Replacement will be cheaper for u in the long run.

Compressor going bad or poor airflow on the condenser .
Troublehooting with ac manifold Guage and analysing the pressure readings will reveal the culprit .
