My gearbox was licking oil and I went to a mechanic, they told me that is from the gearbox pump which i changed and it was moving fine. as i was driving, I slow down at a police check point. And when i tried to accelerate it was not driving. But it reverse.
Please what could be the cause?
What should i do?
Please i need your help.

Whatever the problem is, it is most likely from the gear. Probably the pump wasn't fixed well.
For peace of mind if you can't find a competent gear specialist pls plan to replace the gear. ..

@OP hope there are no hidden issues due from the steering wheel conversion?

Please help a distress soul. Let me start from the beginning. I changed my car engine like 3 months ago in the cause of connecting the ac compressor, the rewire burned my brain box. I changed the brain box which was reprogrammed. After that the gear box keeping disengaging in motion. I was advice advice to change the gear box which I did 3 days ago but the new gear box is still disengaging in motion like the formal one. The mechanic is now suggesting that maybe the person that did the brain box programming didn't do it well. Please my people come to my aid. Please what should I do? Do u think the mechanic is right? Car is civic 2008

The programing that was done has to do with the immobilizer system i.e programming the Brainbox to the key. I do not see why the gear will disengage because of key programming.
in all these issues, have you tried to scan the vehicle for any error codes stored?

Good afternoon Gurus. Thanks for ya input so far. Please I noticed that when I’m on Drive or reverse, my Mercedes C320 becomes shaky but if I select the gear to P or N it becomes normal. NB: if I fire on the car while in D it will be ok oo but once I apply brake it becomes really shaky but engine doesn’t go off. In my pathfinder suv, normally there’s a way to high the engine but I can see such here. Kindly suggest to me what to do

check your engine and gear seats as suggested.
if found ok
then scan the vehicle.
alot of things can cause the vehicle to shake when put in drive but the easiest could be a dirty throttle body causing restriction to airflow at idle or you have a weak spark (coil or spark plug).
to avoid throwing parts, pls start with scanning the ECU to see if there are any fault codes stored.

My car is a 2010 Mercedes benz w204 avant-garde.

The below usually happens when I am about to park my car.

My auto transmission gear most of the time is very hard to bring back to R coming from D. It is like getting stuck for a while in neutral and I will finally be able to shift after few minutes of waiting. Sometimes it feels like I could brake something inside if I force to change the gear.

But once the gear was successfully in, then it will all of a sudden very smooth to change gears from anywhere I want to. Weird part is It only happens when the vehicle was fresh from being driven and was about to be parked. Gear for some reason is getting stuck in neutral for a few minutes. Any idea? Thank you all

scan to ensure there is no brake switch fault. fault is most likely you gear selector.

I need help with my tiny light Camry, when on motion sometimes the gear doesn't engage, it will just be firing unless I release my leg from the pedal and then fire again before it picks, what should I do please.

1. Kindly scan to see if there is any trouble codes stored pertaining to the Transmission.
2. Check transmission fluid level and quality. If dirty or smelling burnt, change the oil with a better quality ATF. Pls dont put in cheap oil like the fake abros everywhere.
Hopefully it is resolved, if otherwise we proceed with diagnosis

for a non-compromised cooling system that is very normal. as suggested drive longer distance band monitor it to see.

if it goes higher than that then you should find the problem. but I know the temperature getting half-way is very normal

You are making the wrong choices bro, i think you should look at Honda Civic or c230 all 1.8L, the lesser the fuel consumption, the more profit you make. My opinion though.
