Since you stated clearly the vibration is from the engine. And also usually when you want to throttle or climb a hill.
I fixed a similar problem recently on an 03 corolla.
Problem was the spark plugs. I replaced with original tokunbo NGK spark plugs and movement was swift.
However in your case pls scan and diagnose the issue first to narrow down the cause.
Whatever is being suggested that it is are only guesses. No go touch wetin no spoil.

I scanned today, the guy said the 3 sensor connecting to the engine are bad. He said that was the only thing that came up from the scanner.
I asked him if the scanner brought up anything about catalyst and he said no.
Maybe I should take it from there

I believe it would be wise if you could get the error codes and post here so we can help guide your repair.
As mentioned by autologic, the absence of catalyst is not the cause of your "presumed high fuel consumption"

I travel to and fro Ife from Lagos with my newly acquired pathfinder, it was a smooth journey but I used 15k fuel to and fro. Although I was informed before buying the car there were no catalyst In the exhaust.

One thing I noticed about the car was it won't accelerate more than 120km/h once it is approaching 130 it will slow down by itself. Could this be a serious problem?

I priced catalyst and is above 100k which I can't afford now.

Do I have a remedy to catalyst that will save cost, and will it reduce fuel consumption? Pathfinder 2004 model

Pls note this, *personally* I do not agree to catalyst causing a terribly high consumption. The function of the catalyst is to lower emission of poisonous gases. So my advice will be in line with my personal belief.
So I will advice you look elsewhere for the problem.
1. Have you tried to note how much distance you travel for certain amount of fuel and then compare with what the manufacturer stated?
Have you tried to scan the vehicle since you bought it?
Is the vehicle naija used or tokunbo?
Several things can cause that issue of the car not going beyond 130km/hr. It could be because of a speed limiter or engine performance problem.

Whatever the problem is, it is most likely from the gear. Probably the pump wasn't fixed well.
For peace of mind if you can't find a competent gear specialist pls plan to replace the gear. ..

Please help a distress soul. Let me start from the beginning. I changed my car engine like 3 months ago in the cause of connecting the ac compressor, the rewire burned my brain box. I changed the brain box which was reprogrammed. After that the gear box keeping disengaging in motion. I was advice advice to change the gear box which I did 3 days ago but the new gear box is still disengaging in motion like the formal one. The mechanic is now suggesting that maybe the person that did the brain box programming didn't do it well. Please my people come to my aid. Please what should I do? Do u think the mechanic is right? The programing that was done has to do with the immobilizer system i.e programming the Brainbox to the key. I do not see why the gear will disengage because of key programming.
in all these issues, have you tried to scan the vehicle for any error codes stored?

NB: if I fire on the car while in D it will be ok oo but once I apply brake it becomes really shaky but engine doesn’t go off. check your engine and gear seats as suggested.
if found ok
then scan the vehicle.
alot of things can cause the vehicle to shake when put in drive but the easiest could be a dirty throttle body causing restriction to airflow at idle or you have a weak spark (coil or spark plug).
to avoid throwing parts, pls start with scanning the ECU to see if there are any fault codes stored.

The below usually happens when I am about to park my car.

My auto transmission gear most of the time is very hard to bring back to R coming from D. It is like getting stuck for a while in neutral and I will finally be able to shift after few minutes of waiting. Sometimes it feels like I could brake something inside if I force to change the gear.

But once the gear was successfully in, then it will all of a sudden very smooth to change gears from anywhere I want to. Weird part is It only happens when the vehicle was fresh from being driven and was about to be parked. Gear for some reason is getting stuck in neutral for a few minutes. Any idea? Thank you all

I need help with my tiny light Camry, when on motion sometimes the gear doesn't engage, it will just be firing unless I release my leg from the pedal and then fire again before it picks, what should I do please.

1. Kindly scan to see if there is any trouble codes stored pertaining to the Transmission.
2. Check transmission fluid level and quality. If dirty or smelling burnt, change the oil with a better quality ATF. Pls dont put in cheap oil like the fake abros everywhere.
Hopefully it is resolved, if otherwise we proceed with diagnosis
