London, the capital of England and the United Kingdom, has been revealed to be the Supercar Capital Of The World with more Luxury cars photographed on its streets than in any other cities on planet Earth .

According to Activity Superstore,a massive 6.1m pictures taken from London were shared on Instagram out of a total of 148.1million . This is followed by the Russian capital Moscow with 5.9m, Los Angeles 4m and New York with 3.7m.





The Ferraris, Lamborghinis and Porsches are the most shared supercars while the $3.4 million Lykan Hypersport , mostly found in Dubai and Russia's St.Petersburg , is the least instagrammed supercar.

An 8 seconds clip retrieved from the black box of a doomed bus in southwestern China shows a female passenger and driver arguing with each other moments before the bus plunged into the river.

According to Chinese Chongqing city police, the fight started after a female passenger missed her bus stop and asked the driver to stop immediately (if you had boarded a Lagos BRT blue bus before, you will know that some drivers will never stop once you miss your bus-stop)



The driver refused prompting the female passenger to hit his head with her mobile phone.The bus driver tried to strike her back before veering into an oncoming car.

The Dashcam footage from another oncoming car caught the moment the bus veered off its lane,collided with a car and smashed through a bridge guardrail before plunging 220 feet into the river.

All 15 people on board including the driver and the angry female passenger died in the crash.



The bus wreck was pulled out of on Wednesday night , 3 days after the fatal accident. Thirteen bodies had been recovered and two still missing.

The fatal accident could have been prevented if the angry woman had not attacked the driver or if she had waited patiently for the next bus stop.

This new video shows the moment Thai businessman and Leicester City owner's £6million Agusta Westland AW169 helicopter started spinning violently before falling out of the sky at terrifying speed.



The initial white smoke when the aircraft's engine was started was said to be harmless and not likely the cause of the accident .

The Leicester City owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha and four others died in the crash outside the Stadium on Saturday few hours after Foxes 1-1 draw against West Ham.





An Aviation expert and former RAF Puma crew member believed an issue with the tail rotor could have led to the disaster taking place.

He told TheSun:

“It is so shocking to see. From the video it definitely appears to be there was a problem with the tail rotor.

“Either they lost control of it, or lost power to it, which is every pilot’s worst nightmare.

“As soon as that happens the fuselage starts spinning in the opposite direction to the main rotors.

“There’s no real coming back from that. The only way is down.

“The pilot has clearly done an incredible job, really.

“He’s obviously waited until the helicopter was clear of the stadium then taken it down.”

He continued:

“What really is odd is seeing the pilot do his checks on the ground and the tail rotor is fine.

“Just seconds later it goes and the helicopter is out of control.

“It’s just a nightmare. The Air Accidents Investigation Branch are incredibly thorough. We won’t know the real cause until their investigation is finished.”

The Lamborghini HuraCAM is the world’s fastest camera car from Incline Dynamic Outlet. The camera car is a modified Lamborghini Huracan LP610-4 designed to chase down the world’s fastest cars used in photo and video shoots.



Almost half a million dollar Gyro-stabilized camera rig is attached to the $200k mid-engined Lamborghini Huracan's front boot i.e. more than twice the price of the Huracan car.

McLaren has finally unveiled the 1035hp centre-drive Speedtail Hyper GT that is set to break all the records. 

The spiritual successor to the Mclaren F1 is the fastest McLaren to date.  It has a top speed of 250mph and will move from zero to 186mph in 12.8secs.







It shares the same seating arrangement with the F1, with the driver at the centre and 2 passengers on both sides.

It features a dashboard with 3 large screens (left for vehicle controls and the right for infotainment ) and two other big LCD screens that shows crystal clear images from the pop-out external cameras that replaces the conventional side mirrors.



Taking an Inspiration from the aviation world,the Engine Start button, switches and dials to engage Velocity mode, door release and side windows buttons are all placed above the drivers head.

The Velocity mode button lowers the Hypercar's height by 1.4 inches and retracts the rear-facing cameras to make it well streamlined.



It also has an electrochromic glass that can darken the top of the windscreen instead of sun visors.

Its F1 derived petrol-electric hybrid system uses a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 with electric motors to produce a 1035 horse power - which means the hyper GT has more power than four 2018 Toyota Camry combined.





The Speedtails base price could rise from  £1.75million to over £2 million with optional extras like the 18 carat white Gold or Platinum badges, instead of the standard  gloss-black on aluminum.

The High Mobility Multi-purpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV) popularly known as HUMVEE are set to be part-replaced by a new Monster JLTVs.



Just like the Jeep it replaced in the 1980s, the HUMVEE was incapable in modern battlefield. Insufficient protection from improvised explosive devices (IEDs) in the Iraqi and Afghanistan wars revealed some of the fatal flaws in the iconic SUV .



The millitary wanted a vehicle that will offer better protection to its occupants as well as go at least 2,400 miles between operational mission failure.

After over the 33 months or nearly three years of testing several millitary vehicles , the Oshkosh JLTV was selected as the winner of the Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV) program.It pulled an amazing 7,051 miles between failures.



AM General Up-armored Humvee went 2,968 miles between failures while Lockheed JLTV had 1,271 miles between failures.

The new 14,000 pounds Oshkosh JLTV was built for driving among the IEDs and rocket-propelled grenades.It is powered by a GM's L5P Duramax 6.6-liter turbodiesel V-8 engine and has top speed of 100 mph.





It has the ability to climb a 60 percent incline, traverse a 40 percent slope and fords 2.5 feet of water without a snorkel and 5 feet with a snorkel.



The $399,000 Oshkosh JLTV is currently in low-rate initial production with the US Army planning to buy about 49,099 JLTVs while the Marine Corps plans to purchase 5,500.Over 1,600 JLTVs have been delivered to the US Army and the USMC as of June 2018.



Some of the 5,200 pounds Humvees will be upgraded and will continue to serve behind-the-scenes with the US Army and Marines until 2050.

The Hummer H1 commonly seen on Nigerian roads are civilian conversions of the US military’s M998 Humvees while the Hummer H2 and H3 are built on GM truck chassis.

Luxury car maker Rolls-Royce and jewellery maker Faberge have unveiled a "Spirit of Ecstasy" Fabergé Egg that was specially made for an unnamed collector of both Rolls-Royce luxury cars and Faberge eggs.

The precious egg is the second that was ever made in the Imperial Class since 1917.





This amazing “Spirit of Ecstasy” Fabergé Egg took the maker of the world’s most luxurious motor cars and the maker of the most luxurious eggs over two years to complete.





It has a very complex mechanism that opens the Arms of gold rose , revealing a crystal version of Rolls-Royce's iconic Spirit of Ecstasy.

The Fabergé Egg rests on an engine-turned, hand-engraved, purple enamel guilloche 18-karat white gold base, and protected by the Arms of rose gold. 





Fabergé Eggs are some of the most valuable items in the world. Just 50 were made before 1917 for the Russian Tsars Alexander III and Nicholas II as Easter gifts for their wives and mothers. 43 of them still survive to date .



The "Spirit of Ecstasy" ornament on the bonnet of Rolls-Royce cars are mounted on a retractable spring loaded mechanism. It became a standard fitting on all Rolls-Royce cars in the early 1920s.

The 2019 Lexus ES currently sold in Japan is the first production car fitted with the new Digital Side-View Monitors while the newly unveiled Audi etron SUV (first mass-production electric vehicle) will also arrive with the new tech next year.

Mercedes-Benz Trucks has unveiled the new tech filled Actros heavy-duty truck which it describes as the “The safest, most efficient, and best-connected truck ever”.



The truck's futuristic-looking MirrorCam ,similar to Lexus ES's Digital Side-View Monitor and Audi e-tron's Virtual mirrors ,now come as standard equipment replacing the conventional main mirrors and wide-angle mirrors.





The two cameras mounted to the exterior beam crystal clear images into two 15-inch displays on the A-pillars inside the cab.

In addition to increased safety, the omission of mirrors reduces fuel consumption.

The new Actros Cockpit has two interactive screens,similar to those found on latest Merce cars, that serve as the central source of information in the driver's digital cockpit .







Connectivity is one of a kind in the new Actros. Smartphones can be charged wirelessly as well as connect through Apple CarPlayTM or Android Auto.

The new Active Drive Assist offers active lane keeping assistance at all times. It intervenes and independently steers the vehicle back into its lane if the truck leaves its lane unintentionally.

The Active Drive Assist is similar to Volvo's Dynamic Steering with Lane Keeping Assist that was demonstrated in Jean-Claude Van Damme’s Epic Split Between Two Reversing Volvo Trucks.



The Active Brake Assist5 can also stop the truck without the drivers intervention if it gets too close to a vehicle driving in front or when someone suddenly crosses the road.

The semi-automated driving with Active Drive Assist supports the driver on straight roads, slight curves, heavy traffic and stop-and-go traffic on the motorway.

The fuel consumption of the new Actros has once again been reduced.

Bentley Motors has built a new restaurant at the top of the United Arab Emirates' tallest mountain to celebrate the launch of Bentley Bentayga V8 SUV and Continental GT in the Middle East.





The automaker will welcome 150 Bentley owners and loyal customers to the well furnished "Peak of Luxury", standing 1934 meters above sea level, with a five-course menu created by renowned chef, Colin Clague ,for only seven days after which the mountain top restaurant will be closed.



The roads to the mountain top restaurant are also well tarred , so driving the multi-million Naira Bentley Coupe, Sedan or Limo will be an amazing experience.

Don't forget, Bentley is also a master in outfitting hotels and private homes with state-of-the-art furnitures.They are one of many automakers that are into other fruitful businesses.

That's a lovely way to say thank you to their loyal customers. How I wish they can do the same to their Nigerian Customers.

The U.S. Air Force is assessing the damages done to more than a dozen of its F-22 Raptor fighter jets after Category 4 storm Hurricane Michael pounded the Tyndall Air Force Base last week.

All the hangers housing the $2 billion worth of F-22 Raptor fighters (which were left due to maintenance or safety reasons) were completely damaged.

Two QF-16s, several decommissioned aircrafts, buildings and trucks were also affected by the powerful storm. 







Air Force spokesperson said
“We anticipate the aircraft parked inside may be damaged as well, but we won’t know the extent until our crews can safely enter those hangars and make an assessment"

All 3,600 military personnel and their families were timely evacuated while the 93 Air Force personnel that stayed behind are safe.



The U.S. Air Force has 186 F-22 Raptor fighters - each at a cost of ₦54.5 b or $150 million (Research and development costs put the price around $330 million per unit)

123 of these jets are currently combat-ready fighters while the rest are largely used for training duties.

About 3 weeks ago, a US F-35 Jet Fighter worth ₦36b crashed for the first time since 2006.

41 year old American rapper Kanye West is currently in Uganda with his wife Kim Kardashian and their eldest child to finish recordings on his new album Yandhi.

During their visits to the African country, they met with the president of Uganda, Yoweri Museveni,who has been in power since 1986.

The President later allowed them to fly in his personal helicopter for some charity work.





But before they left , the rapper gifted the President a pair of Yeezys from his latest collection.

At the charity and according to the video description , he played and danced with the kids at the Uganda Women’s Effort to Save Orphans (UWESO) Children’s village before handing out the Yeezys to them.



Both Kanye West and Kim Kardashian were later slammed for visiting and gifting the President a sneakers ,who many considered to be a dictator.

A team of Iranian engineers has unveiled a copycat Italian made Lamborghini luxury sports car .

They dismantled an original Lamborghini Murcielago SV sports car and designed new parts that looks like the original Lamborghini parts. 

The carbon copy and reverse-engineered Lamborghini Murcielago SV then took them another 4 years to complete.



Their goal was to understand how Volkswagen owned Lamborghini manufactures it's supercars so that they can use the knowledge to make future Iranian-built vehicles.

But their own sports car is powered by a 3.8-liter Hyundai V6 engine instead of the original 6.5-liter V12 engine that powers the monster Murcielago SV. 



The head of the team said at the unveiling that “all parts of the body, inside the car and precise mechanics of the car are manufactured and mounted based on the original of Murcielago platform and its chassis is also one and one with the original chassis"

“We selected a unique model of a superior brand, and tried to be faithful to the main features and even the simplest details of the original model"



The 6.5-liter V12 powered  Lamborghini Murcielago SV, the Lamborghini Diablo successor, was produced by between 2001 and 2010.

The 661 horsepower supercar has a top speed of 212 mph and will move from zero to 62 miles per hour in 3.2 seconds.

To be honest, the carbon copy sportscar could be mistaken for an original Murcielago SV, if not for the missing iconic Lamborghini badge and its V12 engine.

Team Vesco's Turbinator II car has become the first wheel-driven vehicle to reach 503mph .

The car was so fast (even faster than many aircraft could fly) that it finally came to a complete stop after over 2 minutes and a distance of 7.8 miles with the help of twin parachutes .



But this 503mph run doesn’t count as a new record (so it is unofficial ) because it was only recorded in one direction. Wet weather condition prevented the run in the opposite direction .


The Turbinator II still holds the world’s fastest wheel-driven vehicle record of 482.646 mph set at an earlier run in September 2018.

The over 5000 horsepower 36-foot long car was powered by a Chinook helicopter engine .

The wheel driven car differs from famous land speed record vehicle Bloodhound SSC as it wheel-driven while the "non-driven wheels" Bloodhound SSC,that combines technology from motorsport, space travel and a fighter jet , is powered by a jet engine and a rocket engine.




The goal for the £30 million Bloodhound SSC ,with the power of 360 family cars , is to match or exceed 1,000 miles per hour or Mach 1.3 (speed of sound is Mach 1).

The Rolls-Royce jet-engine powered ThrustSSC (the first land vehicle or car to officially break the sound barrier) still holds the land speed record of 763 mph set on 15 October 1997.

Toyota owned Lexus has dropped the traditional side mirrors for the Digital Side-View Monitors in its move to improve visibility and safety in all weather conditions.







The cameras in the Digital Side-View Monitors transmit the outside images onto 5-inch display monitors located inside the car. The monitors also reduces wind noise and it's unaffected by rain.





The industry-first technology made its debut in the latest 2019 Lexus ES sedan that is presently available only in Japan.

Toyota said:
"For starters, the cameras capture a clearer view to the right, left and rear of the vehicle, especially at night and in bad weather. The system also automatically enhances areas that need special attention, such as the direction a vehicle is turning"

Toyota aim to expand the digital cameras to other models but regulations around the world means that the Digital Side-View Monitors can only be available in Japan for now.

The US-Russian crew were forced to make emergency landing in Kazakhstan after the booster of the Soyuz Rocket malfunctioned mid-air.

The second stage engines were shut down and seconds later the crew ejected themselves from the rocket and landed safely on Earth.

Expedition 57 was due to transport Roscosmos’ Aleksey Ovchinin and NASA astronaut Nick Hague to the International Space Station in the Soyuz MS-10 spacecraft before developing fault 119 seconds after take-off from the Baikonur launch site in Kazakhstan.

This is the first time the Soyuz-FG rocket has malfunctioned since 2001 and after over 60 launches.

Russian space agency Roscosmos
(which has earned billions of dollars flying astronauts into orbit since NASA retired its space shuttles in 2011) has grounded the Soyuz rockets until the caused of the malfunction is revealed.
