Irrespective of where we are as a nation, race, and nationality, one thing is evident, greatness abounds in us if only we can turn our mind and think into something positive. A Nigerian named Diseye Tantua seems to be quite different and he is blazing the trend in this regards even though we have others from the international scene.

Cars are seen as an essential part of human lives, they help in moving us from one location to another but another aspect to it is that cars can also serve as amazing masterpiece used in homes and furniture.

Every year, thousands of cars are either sold as scrap to the abokis on the street, destroyed or left to rust. Do you know that old car parts can be turned or molded into beautiful furniture? It just takes nice car parts furniture ideas and some inspiration to make some fantastic things with the car parts.

Bring Your Creativity To Another Level With Car Parts Furniture Ideas

Recycling old things is an ongoing trend; people have been recycling items for many years. So, why not cars? Cars have become an indispensable part of the modern world. They act as a mode of transport for several years. Therefore, people are bound to years of memories with their cars. Besides reading about the maintenance tips, the surefire way to keep the car near you is disassembling the car parts and creating something worth keeping. Here are some fascinating ideas that will give your sweet home a unique, appealing look.

1. Recycle The Old Car As An Office Desk

When a car reaches its end of the life cycle, dismantling becomes quintessential. Instead of selling your car as scrap, you can make an incredible desk. All you will be required to do is take the front part of the vehicle and attach a surface on it.

Cars have become as ubiquitous as ever. Interestingly, new ideas are being invented to keep them as close as possible. Many people are turning their cars into campers and beds. Car beds are gaining a lot of attention because they are making it from broken vehicles. If you want to make your own car bed and experience the sleep on it, just take off the roof panel of the car and use the body as a bed frame. Meanwhile, make some changes to the car design, headlights, and the bumper.

Making an adorable sofa or a homemade couch from an old car is super easy. To perform this DIY task, separate the front part of your vehicle and then mold it according to your preference. It is one of the car parts furniture ideas, which are famous worldwide.

One of the numerous ways we can make our old cars useful is by making them into an amazing piece of art and fun place. The poster is obviously not telling us the entire truth, i pass through the road even traveling to Ilorin and i was amazed, he should tell us when he took the picture and which section of the road did he take the picture from.

If u ask the smart commercial motorist that ply the route regularly, they will tell you they use the road as an alternative route to connect Ogbomosho from oyo to enable them avoid the trailer infested old road

Though the road isn't completed alot of the section are completed already

See the pictures i took last time when i pass through the road

If you take your time to check for more pictures Sir, we cover some areas that has been completed (please check the source for more, we have about 35 images in all) but there are critical places that are left. The workers and the company handling the road are no where to be found close to 3 months now according to reports.

Its no news that the Federal Government of Nigeria is on massive road rehabilitation projects across the country, one of the numerous project embarked on is called the Sukuk Road Project. The project which was supervised by the ministry of works is spanned across the 6 geographical zones of the country. It was reported in the media some in 2017. According to the Vanguard Newspaper, the Federal Government released N100 billion in 2017 to road contractors to facilitate the construction and rehabilitation of 25 priority road projects across the six geopolitical zones.

The Federal Government raised the funds through the issuance of Sukuk bonds.

Sukuk bonds are Islamic bonds, structured in such a way as to generate returns to investors without infringing Islamic law that prohibits “riba” or interest. One of the places which the Sukuk Bond was used for is the Ogbomosho Road in Oyo State. Ogbomosho has a close boundary with Ilorin, Kwara State.

For those who pile this road regularly, the journey within Ogbomosho alone can take up to 2-3 hours because of the bad roads. Its almost 2 years since this project has started, we hope they finish up before 2019 runs out.

Base on the images sent and careful analysis, it seems this project has been abandoned by the contractors as no single worker was sighted on site, even the tractors and the equipment used all show signs that it's being long that there were last used. We did some little checks on RCC Nigeria Ltd and we noticed that they are not active online.

One of the contributors in AutoReportNG was on site to inspect the construction of these roads networks. This is the Ogbomosho axis being managed by RCC Nigeria Limited. According to the images being sent to our news desk, the work is gradually closing in while some parts are getting tared already. We can't really ascertain when this construction will be finished and ready for us but trust AutoReportNG to keep you updated as the event unfolds.

When you thought you have seen the worst of roads, you keep getting the shocker until you see worse along the way.

The state of Oke Ogun roads in Oyo state has been described as deplorable

According to reports, Oke-Ogun accommodates one-third of local government in Oyo state but could not be easily reached from the state capital -

Oseni Ibrahim Ola, a resident from Iseyin, consequently urged the state government to take the necessary steps Oseni Ibrahim Ola, a resident of Oke Ogun in Oyo state, has lamented the deplorable conditions of Oyo-Iseyin and Iseyin-Ibadan roads.

The resident, while registering his frustration has called on the Gov. Makinde to kindly look into the road and act as fast as possible. According to him, he said, the current deplorable state of Oyo-Iseyin and Iseyin-Ibadan roads call for urgent attention and a proactive movement by the government.

The lamentation by road users on the deplorable condition of the roads and their consequent threat should be arrested by the government. It is a shame that Oke-Ogun that accommodates one-third of local government in Oyo State could not be easily reached from the state capital.

Oke-Ogun as popularly known for enormous food production and abundant raw materials for the state and Nigeria at large is largely suffering from the avoidable deplorable state of roads.

It is a national tragedy that does not shock most people in a position of authority any more that scores of innocent people are killed daily in avoidable accidents on account of bad roads.

The same poor road network has resulted in poor productivity as immeasurable man-hours are lost in traffic. The economy suffers incalculable losses as a result.

It is high time the government treated road infrastructure as a priority to enhance economic development and secure life and property.

What is more traumatic than traveling through the roads, especially, during the rainy season? Vehicles break down; heavy-duty trucks overturn or get stuck in the mud. Motorists disembark at such horrible spots to push crippled vehicles.

These pictures best explain the situation of these roads

The rain is definitely having its toll on vehicles that are not strong especially in this season when the fiction on the road is low.

A Dangote truck is being reported to have plunged into the river at Obadore bridge inward Igando. From the report we got, the truck hit some vehicles and there are casualties, those that are alive are said to have been taken to Igando General Hospital for adequate treatment while LRU team are being contacted to pull the truck out of the river.

Again, we need to warn drivers and road users to be wary of this period where there are floods and the road is slippy, drive with care, reduce your speed, please be mindful of the road users and make sure you check your car before leaving home.

These are photos we got for you.

During the rainy season, experts have warned that we should be wary of trucks, trailers as some may develop break failures due to the roughness of the road and the low friction on the highway due to the rain. An accident occurred yesterday on Lagos Road, at Ikorodu close to the Garage Roundabout as a result of a failed brake of the trailer, thankfully, No life was lost though. Men of the Lagos Neighbourhood Watch, LASTMA and other relevant agencies were on ground to control traffic when the accident occurred.

This is a clarion call to all road users to be wary of trailers, cars and other heavy-duty vehicles, especially during the rainy season.

I don't get it, o! shocked Why advertise a boat service with fanfare, yet it is not even running?

If I sent them a message on Facebook and they didn't respond, how am I sure they would respond on Twitter? They didn't even respond when I sent an enquiry to their WhatsApp business number. Ok, let me try your Twitter suggestion, and see what happens.

They have started actually, I saw some pictures of people using their boats but its weird on their part... Too bad if I must say!

It's that season where most Lagosians dread most, the rainy season. The rain has come upon us and either we like it or not, nature has to take its place especially when we are not yet fully prepared by making our roads, drainages, and walkways motorable and walkable, the state is awaiting disaster from rains.

Epe is an urban city in Lagos State, it is home to one of Lagos finest politicians, for example, the former Lagos State Gov., Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode comes from this place and same can be said of the new deputy governor of the state, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat. As good as this may seem, the people are living in pains and agony in terms of roads and infrastructure.

In a recent trip embarked by the AutoReportNG crew recently on this road leading to the palace of Oba Animashaun Kamorudeen Ishola, Oba of Epe Land, it is shocking to note that the Ex-governor of Lagos state is from here and maybe fortunately enough, his house is just a stone throw from here. Base on our assessment, the roads are in bad shape and It may 'delight' you to know that the state Deputy Governor (Hamzat) is from this place. Whenever it falls, the place is flooded, it gets so bad that weeds have taken over the road that's meant to be used for cars.

One of the locals expressed her discomfort with the road, according to her, "This road is disturbing our market, and causing flood anytime it rains here (she might have thought our reporter is from the ministry).

This is an appeal to the Lagos State Government to look to the plight of these people, they are not asking for money, all they just need is a good road network to help convey their goods and services from one point to another.

These are some of the pictures we got for you.

I was at Pavilion in Lekki Phase 1 early this week. Nobody had seen or heard anything about GBoat service, being promoted by Gokada. I sent them a message on Facebook. No response. shocked

What is it with the hype, if they can't provide the service they advertised from Lekki? Yuk! angry

And to think I was one of those commending them earlier, for this initiative.... cry

Thats weird... send a tweet to @lagosboats and @gboatng

Politics / Caption This Photo Of Femi Gbajabiamila’s Security Aides In Rain by AutoReportNG: 4:30pm On Jun 25, 2019
Last weekend, the speaker of Nigeria's House of Representatives, Rt Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila was in Lagos to meet the Oba of Lagos, Oba Akinolu but being the rainy season, the security details which comprises of men of DSS have no choice but to be drenched in the rain guarding his Armoured Mercedes Benz car.

One thing comes to mind, does it mean these aides cannot avoid the rain as their boss is in the car cooling off his head. One thing is certain, when duty calls, loyalty to the government comes first.

Car Talk / Lightening Destroys Lady's Car In Abuja This Morning by AutoReportNG: 9:31am On Jun 25, 2019
In Nigeria, we play with thunder and lighting a lot without knowing that they are powerful and seem to be more dangerous than we normally thought. A lady has taken to Twitter to thank God for the life of her sister, according to her, Lightening struck my aunt’s car this morning in Abuja. God save us.

Imagine if her sister was in the car or someone close by... According to the images sent to us, the car was razed to the ground and nothing was spare, totally destroyed. So, when next you want to abuse someone of thunder and lightning, please, think twice again.

See more images of this car below...
