I would like to know people's views on the issue of serious discrimination against anyone over-45 (of which I am one!) seeking employment in Nigeria. I have applied for numerous jobs, be it long-term, short-term, consultancy and so on. Despite my wealth of experience, skills and expertise, I have not had even an interview! Are employers intimidated by experienced/older professionals? Surely our experience will bring added value to organisations and we can be of help to younger employees. Please we should not be discarded with yet! We are still useful to the employment market!! Anyone feeling similarly frustrated with this type of discrimination and unfairness?? Let's hear your veiws!

Now before Ɣøû comment,let me give Ɣøû a little background to our issues. ℓ̊ was involved with other ladies at some point in our marriage,of which she knew and ℓ̊ confessed to her. ℓ̊ don't do that anymore but she said she want to cheat so that ℓ̊ can feel what it feels to be cheated upon. Now she is sleeping around and tell it to my face that she is cheating and will continue without hiding it and there is nothing ℓ̊ can do!

See the way you are talking as if the money belongs to you or your family. Who is the "us" you are talking about? And which money are you talking about? The one you have or the one you don't have? Mr. man nobody has stolen any money from you because you don't have "shishi" in the first place, so how can someone steal from you?

ibangs: Yea! If you have products for adult I can market them for you. My target market is students(about 8,400) of a newly established higher institution in my area. Products like tablets, power bank, hair extension etc will be quite appreciated because those market is yet to be there. If you are serious and have substantial amount you can invest.

linearity: Your question pre-supposes that you already have the cash on hand and are in a dilemma whether to use it or get a loan.

The best option is to treat it as investment and see if you will be a least even at the end of the day...

First see what the loan will cost you in interest rate or APR....Also see how much it will cost you to get a personal on secured loan from the bank...if the situation currently in Nigeria is same as it is in developed countries, the interest on the car loan will be lower than the personal loan because the car acts as a security.....look at it this way..

Given the above, I will invest the money and take the loan....at the minimum your investment cash flow has a boost which is equal to the difference between the above two interest rates.

A good and effortless investment for that cash is to buy a land, put a fence around it and either sit on it or gradually start developing it.

While the land is an asset and will continue to appreciate in value, your car is a liability will continue to depreciate. If you hit a financial bump in the road tomorrow, you can turn around and sell the land, payoff the loan...and you will still have some change in your pocket plus you will have your car to either sell to make more money or keep...but had you bought the car outright, you will get less than 50% of the original value.

Alious11: they said "government certified hospital" this includes private clinics approved by the government. A friend of mine who is now commissioned last year did his at a private clinic, and the hospital i did mine too.

ananne: Getiing the medical report and ECG wasnt easy. Infact some people will have to wait till thursday due to the holiday. The soldiers were nice. Most applied and were not shortlisted. It really takes the Grace of God to scale through. Trust me,marriage is not for d faint hearted ,infact husbands of most fat married women don't even see the excess adipose tissue n stretch marks,they see far beyond that.I had to take a conscious effort to loose weight cos my husband was not complaining at all(ko tie riro rara) .

Our Lord Jesus warned us against them in the book of revelation (Rev 2:1->. The devil has again brought these doctrines into the gathering of God's people in recent years.

Everything you wrote is called doctrines of men and of devils. If you are truly born again, you would have spoken God's word, not your human doctrines. God's Word is the foundation of true Christianity. Anything outside of God's Word is from the devil.



You cannot cure a single cell. Healing is done by the Holy Spirit. All you are asked to do is pray or speak the word. God's Holy spirit does the healing. That means it has absolutely nothing to do with how "much of a man of God" you are. A baby Christian, who just got born again today can obtain as much healing from God as much as any "man of God". God is no respecter of persons and has no preferences when answering prayers. Some deacons in the early church, like Steven, had more spectacular miracles than the apostles. You are way way out of scriptures.



Mark 16:15- says the signs shall follow them that believe. It didnt say the signs shall follow the "men of God" or the "highly annointed men". If you think God does miracles because he thinks the person asking for it is special, then you need to go back to God's word



This is very ridiculous. Do you think the Holy Spirit is your messenger? Do you think any man can determine how fast a healing will occur? Your are insulting the Holy Spirit with this your post. God is not your messenger. The principle of healing and miracles is based on faith, not on the person doing the praying. A small kid can have more faith than a man who has been born again for 50 years. Do you know that there were cities where Jesus could not perform any miracles. It didnt say Jesus did not, it said he "could" not. Why? Because of their unbelief. No man of God can force a miracle out of God without the involvement of the faith of those involved. Some of the miracles you see today are sorcery. Moses struck a rock and water came out but God was angry with Moses and he didnt enter the promised land. That is because you can access spiritual principles and perform miracles but it wouldnt be from God and it wouldnt have Gods approval. Many so called men of God are operating in this realm

This is not a "man of God". This is the work of a diviner. That anyone can perform a miracle doesnt make him a man of God or doesnt mean he has God's approval. There is a purpose for miracles. Miracles are not for show off.

a) Yes, we as Christians are all anointed but can you claim to have cured a terminal illness by prayer?
b) Have you ever prayed for the dead and they were raised up?
c) How fast do you receive answers to your prayers? Instantly, after a while, or do you have to rely on others (including your pastor) to pray for you to get results?
d) Can you preach the word with signs and wonders?
e) Can you see rain clouds forming and rain threatening to destroy your programme, and you can decree that the rain not fall until you are done? (late Archbishop Benson Idahosa once did this in a crusade and the rain that started to fall stopped immediately).
f) Can you decree things to happen and they will happen as you decreed? Can you control the elements with your prayer?
g) Can you decree the death of an evil man and it will come to pass?
h) Can you cause strange deliverance to occur by a word of prayer? A man of God I know once prayed a prayer for someone I know and lightening came from the sky, divided the roof of his family house, into the parlour, and created a massive crater that excavated charms and eartheware pots located almost 10 feet into the ground somewhere in Anambra state. This is a confirmed story, not hearsay.

Another I know (not even a popular one, you may call him an unknown pastor) commanded a mad man to be cured and he was very very cured. I saw this myself live in a branch of Assemblies of God church in a program I was invited to attend.
