All those saying Tinubu must be president, please it shouldn't be at the expense of innocent lives. This skullership and ritual must stop.

Tinubu is the godfather of Lagos politics, whose decisions and choices must not be opposed. It is good he is also getting the same treatment from Buhari as regards his presidential ambition. So what exactly is your point or your pain? What do you have against Wike receiving commendations for pushing this idea? Do you prefer is someone else you adore or from your region? Don't be petty about this because the benefit from this amendments is not only for Wike.

It started in Lagos years ago but lost on technical ground ( suing the FG). What Wike did was explore the technicality & sue the appropriate agency (FIRS).

Stop trying to steal glory of another person. Wike used his legal background to question the collection of VAT and pursued it until it became a national issue and consequently this amendments. Give honour to whom its due. Twale to Gov Nyesome Wike. His guts and courage needs to be studied as a research topic in Nigeria universities

Amaechi has the confidence of the president and is more respected in APC than Tinubu.

Amaechi's squabble with Jonathan helped to create the crack in PDP which gave APC an inroad to Aso rock. All those praising Tinubu has the mastermind that helped Buhari to power are just deceiving themselves. Without weakening PDP internally which Rotimi did and led to a mass defection of PDP bigwigs, there was no way any other party could have defeated PDP who are the biggest and largest political party in Africa

All this is directed to stop Tinubu emergence as APC presidential candidate. I expect Tinubu to use all is political network to float a new party where he won't face all this opposition. Better still, he should forge a another political party merger with those unpopular parties.

Only a joker will think Tinubu will emerge APC presidential candidate taking into consideration the extent the north has hijacked and currently running the party.

If we want to be logical, APC and PDP are not same parties.
The PDP last presidential candidate was a southerner, GEJ. So I believe if they want to go by zoning which is in their faulty construction, power should go to the north.
As for APC they do not have zoning in their construction , so they are free to zone there leadership wherever they want
At least every one can see that atiku is only interested in being called the president of Nigeria full stop and that the PDP as a party has no ideology. It's only a party of power hungry, selfish politicians.

So APC that has ideology how well has Nigeria and Nigerians fared under the current administration? Except you want to feign ignorance of the level of poverty, unemployment, inflation and frustration in the country that has made mothers sell their kids just to feed and turned our youths and teens into ritualist. The southwest should not be fooled by the noise being made by Wike and some others about zoning the ticket to south. Its all a game plan. PDP stakeholders know too well that Atiku is the surest path for PDP to return back to Aso rock and that is what it will be. Watch out for Atiku/Wike joint ticket

Articles like this are usually written and promoted by APC and particularly Yoruba's who see Atiku as a major threat to the southwest agenda. Instead of them to continue marketing their bullion van drug baron political god who appears to have been rejected by the cabals, they are trying so hard to demarket Atiku and by extension destabilize PDP.

We in the south south and our brothers in the southeast will back anybody either from north or south but not anyone from southwest come 2023. We are ready to make every sacrifice to boot out the evil party called APC

Lagos is not a megacity by many indices and issuing resident cards wont make it one. Lagos is more of a glorified slum with pot holes on almost every road, with touts and agberos in every bus stops, with no reliable power and water supply, with refuse dirts scattered along major roads. The list is endless.

This was how Tunde Bakare came up with Save Nigeria Group (SNG) which kick started the disruption of the Goodluck Jonathan administration in 2012. Little did we know he was acting the *scene one* script of the APC/Buhari presidential ambition.

Anytime you hear "save Nigeria" its just a disguise to push the agenda of a particular candidate or party.

Why does the supreme court have to wait till May when we are still in the first week of February? Are there no free days in the whole of the month of march and April to fix the date of the case?

Hope this is not a ploy to fix the date close to the retirement date of Justice Mary Odili and later adjourn until after her retirement on the 12th of May, 2022 to conclude the case so she won't be able to vote against the interest of the cabals of this govt?

Everyone knows the VAT case is of higher importance to the federal govt. I am sure the VAT case will be decided after the retirement of Justice Mary Odili. Her single vote may be the deciding factor, so the cabals want her out first.

Funny enough they fix the date for the case on May 6 2022, it will later be adjourned to a date after Justice Mary Odili has retired on May 12th 2022 because they don't want her vote to count in this matter. Her vote may swing the decision in favour of Rivers state.

They will likely rule against states collecting VAT and compensate Rivers state with IMO state oil wells.

The writing on the wall is so clear, everything has been politicized. May God help Nigeria.

They did more than this to bring in Buhari in 2015 and he brought pain and misery to millions of Nigerians. They have started again.

APC and Tinubu urchins like any news that berates Atiku because they know he is a formidable candidate that can beat any candidate APC has to offer.

Even though Pa Edwin Clark has a strong point for parties to zone presidential ticket to the south, if PDP really wants to reclaim the federal govt then considering Atiku will be their best option.
