The south west sowed treachery in 2015 and will reap same in 2023. |
SW are very power greedy people. The other time Governor Akeredolu convened a southern governors forum both from APC and PDP to demand that power be shifted to the south in 2023 in the spirit of fairness and equity. The same SW leaders have changed the song to power must be given to South west. Why can't both south south and south west joined forces together to demand that presidency be zoned to SE in the spirit of fairness and equity? |
The north is coming out now |
In Lagos state Tinubu imposes candidates under the guise of GAC (Governor Advisory Committee) which he controls. APC NWC is about to use that same strategy against Tinubu. What goes around comes around |
Tinubu's political sagacity is being tested. Will he be able to scale through all the political maneuvering and achieve his lifelong ambition? Will he join the likes of Chief Obafemi Awolowo and MKO who came close to the promised land but never entered? Only time will tell. |
With the massive IGR of Lagos state, the state can't boast of portable drinking water for her citizens. Many areas and streets are less developed without drainage, street lights and good roads. They generate the revenue and divert it to private pockets and businesses. This is the model of governance Tinubu the corrupt mafia has successfully entrenched in Lagos. |
Tinubu is an institution of corruption. Buhari has used his presidential slot. |
Asiwaju will be humiliated in a stylish manner. |
Afonja half wisdom helped install the most disasterous govt of all time in Nigeria. emmanuelbrown26: |
APC has been colonised and it's now a northern party. APC will likely field a Northern candidate and we in the south south and south east will gladly vote in support of North than to support south west. |
APC will field a Ahmed Lawan, PDP will field a Atiku, SDP should field Tinubu and let them slug it out since power is not given on a platter of gold.
|
We on the south south are in support of SE presidency in 2023.Yorubas want fairness but are not ready to give fairness. What is the English word for this type of attitude? Pls.someone should help me |
dapolaw: |
Don't mind these selfish, doubled faced afonja. With the poor performance of this govt they still want APC to continue. They can't say APC has failed because of their selfish interest. ogbuefi677: |
By what moral standard is Akeredolu asking for the presidency to be zoned to the south? Is it for fairness sake or for Yoruba sake? If its for fairness then it should be microzoned to the SE but if its for Yoruba sake, then please Buhari should do 3rd, 4th and 5th term. |
mrvitalis:Nations such as ours with diverse regions and tribes are managed with a sense of justice, equity and fairness. You can't shut out a region and expect peace to reign. Stop deceiving yourself. |
If North picks a northern candidate to succeed Buhari this same Yoruba's will start shouting "Oduduwa republic" |
Maybe we should forget about zoning and let the north continue ruling. Yoruba's have not yet learnt from their 2015 error that brought this evil govt on us all. |
Mr Man don't say what you don't know. Obasanjo became president on a platter of gold because he was released from prison and handed the presidential ticket. Obj at the end of his turn handpicked late Yaradua as his successor. I hope you are not trying to say another northerner can take over from Buhari in 2023 all in the name of power is not given on a platter of gold because they have the numbers and resources to remain in power. Opolopoopolonio: |
What the minister said is just the obvious truth. Other big players in APC has at one time or the other tacitly agreed that the APC government has failed woefully. Only politucal sycophants in the south west hoping to reap from installing disaster Buhari are still queuing behind APC with the hope that the presidency shifts to south west after the end of Buhari's tenure. APC doesn't have the moral right to ask Nigerians to re-elect the party. |
Tinubu's political worth is nothing but relying on other strong political actors. Once these allies change camp Tinubu doesn't stand much chances. I won't be surprise is Kano state governor, Ganduje also declares interest in contesting too. Epic disgrace awaits Tinubu at the APC presidential primaries. Some of us saw this long before now. |
This is one of the most foolish wisdom I have heard anyone expressed today |
APC deliberately made the presidential form to be N100m and encouraged many people to aspire. Its their strategy to gather enough money for vote buying and rigging of the election. |
Tinubu thinks all his supposed loyalist are happy with his greedy style of politics. Many dared to challenge him like madam Bucknor, Femi Pedro, Ambode, Aregbesola etc. There are many others who are waiting for the right time to show their hatred for his selfishness and lordship. |
Osibanjo just dealt a very heavy blow on Tinubu and all of a sudden, Tinubu's urchins are quiet feeling the severe pains of their corrupt national leader. Osibanjo needs to do more of this, the cabals need to be sure he won't dance to Tinubu's control if given the APC ticket. |
Is this donation done for the sake of love or for politics? Why is he focusing so much on Kano? Desperate politicians with dirty deceptive tricks to win election just to loot our collective treasury. |
1. Osinbajo contesting because he has experience 2. Tinubu contesting because its his life ambition 3. Atiku contesting because he is a unifier 4. Peter Obi contesting to revamp d economy |
Only blind, corrupt and selfish people would want someone like Tinubu as president. They don't care if he converts Nigeria to his personal estate, their only concern is for him to create avenue for them to be seeing their daily bread at the expense of the larger society. We have seen the pattern he set in Lagos where agberos stand at every bus stop and collects about 40% of the daily profit made by transporters in the guise of tickets for booking, loading, parking etc. The transporters end up making agberos millionaire while they can't feed their family or maintain the vehicles because of the parasitic system set up by a greedy corrupt politician. May God help us |
Tinubu should not be allowed to come anywhere near the presidential seat in Aso rock. If he takes his draconian political style to national level, Nigerians will practically die of hunger. His political style is just about milking the people and looting the funds into personal businesses and partnership that makes him Lord over all. |
I can tell you for free that Tinubu honoured the invitation of Aisha Buhari so as not to appear as if he is angry with Buhari and the moves of APC to deny him the APC ticket. So he had to attend to avoid speculations from the public because people would have read different meaning to his absence. The likes of Atiku, Saraki etc ignored the invite because of the flippant manner in which the invite was done in which they required invitees not to come with their phones. Yet Tinubu attended because he has a burden not to show he is unhappy with Buhari and the presidency at large. THIS IS HOW FAR A DESPERATE MAN CAN GO. He even joined a queue to get food. |
As it stands today, Tinubu is in the past of Osibanjo political journey. Osibanjo has overtaken Tinubu as far as national politics is concerned. Vice president position is not the same as the position of a governor which is the highest Tinubu has attained. Osibanjo doesn't need to consult Tinubu before declaring his aspiration to run for presidency. After graduating from school, do you consult your lecturers before applying for job vacancies? Cajal: |
