Fourthly,....Buhari ensured consensus was included in the new electoral bill recently signed into law.

Fifthly, Buhari against pressure from party members imposed his candidate as national chairman and whipped everyone else into alignment.

With the level of greed shown by the south west, we the other regions in the south don't mind having the north continue ruling for another 16 years until a new breed without greed arise.

Tinubu is busy trying to buy votes at the APC primaries, but what he should know is that there wouldnt even be a contest in the first place. Consensus is the game. Take it or leave it.

I won't be surprised if Buhari anoints Amechi as his successor. Amechi was the man that pulled PDP down and helped to strengthen APC. While Tinubu has been making so much noise as been the person who made Buhari presidency a reality, Amechi has not for once praised himself for the Buhari presidency. He has remained loyal and supporting the Buhari govt as a minister.

While the Yoruba's keep deceiving the self by claiming Tinubu made Buhari presidency a reality Buhari deep down in his heart know that Amechi was the mastermind that did d magic.

So people can deceive themselves too much. In 1999 what tactics did yorubas use to put Obasanjo in Aso rock. Majority of Yoruba's didn't even support Obasanjo. He was brought from prison to become the main presidential candidate of PDP and other regions especially Igbos voted for him. This was because the discuss then was to compensate Yoruba's for MKO' s victory in the June 12 1993 annulled election.

Secondly, what strategy did the south south put up to give Jonathan the presidency in 2011? Obasanjo picked Jonathan as a running mate to Yaradua to douse the tension in the Niger Delta back then. And this was repeated in 2011.

National politics shouldn't be about ethnic tactics but national conscience, fairness and equity.

Yoruba abusers and haters should all reserve all their insults for Buhari and APC leadership who will employ "forced consensus candidacy" as was seen during the just concluded APC national convention to throw Tinubu's presidential ambition into the refuse bin.

If the north chooses to continue in power, Yoruba's will cry "injustice". But if Igbos' demand zoning for fairness, Yoruba will say " power is not given on a platter of gold". But all the while they kept crying that power should be zoned to the south.

Yoruba's are so selfish and greedy when it comes to this presidential election.

All parties should microzone to the south east in 2023 in the spirit of fairness and justice. I am from the Niger Delta.

Buhari called Tinubu a philanthropist. This has a deeper meaning than the face value. A philanthropist does good without expecting anything in return. This could be a subtle message from the president to Tinubu. He may be inferring that whatever contribution Tinubu gave him to become the president he did as an act of philanthropy and hence should not expect any reward for it.

It will be very sweet if Adamu Abdullahi disqualify Tinubu just like he and Oshiomole did to Obaseki. Pushing him aside with disqualification will be sweeter than consensus. I know he Wont escape one of these.

One of the mandate of the new APC chairman is to ensure Tinubu doesn't smell APC presidential ticket. He may likely be disqualified like they did to Obaseki or they will use consensus to push him aside. I expect him to remain a loyal party man even if he doesn't get APC ticket.

This was how you guys marketed the disaster we have today has president that has basterdized Nigeria. Tinubu should be in jail for all his criminal activities and not eyeing the highest seat.

I am beginning to have a lot of respect for Wike. To be fair to him he has been one of the most consistent and courageous governors from PDP. While others were romancing Buhari he stood firm in opposition even at the risk of losing elections. Its obvious he is a principled man unlike most of those other governors who are only interested in their belly. 7years after Jonathan left office he is still on his side. Not once has he betrayed Jonathan or PDP even when under pressure. Principled men like him are what Nigeria needs, not those LIARS and PROPAGANDISTS. So many Nigerian politicians are Judases but not Wike.
