With all the Jagaban political sagacity, and political network and networth plus the fact he is a national leader of APC, it is a common deputy national secretary that has rubbished all his political calculation and permutations which he has been strategising for almost 7 years or more. Karma is not a fine girl |
I am sure APC journalist hangout chat political chat program on TVC will be in a mourning state with Jide Otitoju, Ozugbakun wailing at the turn of events which has suddenly rubbished all their years of analysing politics the jagaban way and for the jagaban 2023 dream. Welcome our newly admitted WAILERS |
Sagay, one of Tinubu foot soldiers working assiduously to help the jagaban achieve his 2023 presidential ambition, so he can be appointed the Attorney general of the federation/ minister if justice. All your croocked ways is in pursuit of this end. Man propose but God dispose. |
Sometime ago some judges were arrested from their homes at midnight because they were perceived to be corrupt. Prof Sagay was one of the brain behind such invasion, so I believe he should be satisfied by the cleansing carried out in the judiciary by this govt. It is on this background the president was advised to recognise Chief Victor Gaidon as the authentic chairman. Case closed |
Prof Sagay has joined the wailing team. Welcome sir, we hail your wail. |
APC can't breath

APC can't breath because of one man's knee on its neck

Every politician is ambitious and they go to very far extents to achieve their ambitions. They defect from the party on whose platform they came into power to another, they malign and realign with both friends and foes as long as such will help them realize their ambition. So I don't think there is anything as betrayal in politics as long as it is still believed that there are no permanent friends or enemies in politics except permanent interest. There can be moles but not betrayals. |
Szkpytqgdcvx925:You are a joke |
APC has never been a democratic party that has and upholds well defined standards. Their standards are usually set based on their sentiments n d result they wish to achieve. So d goal post doesn't have a permanent location. They call this "progressive mindset" where d ends justifies d means. So black today can become white if that will get them d result they want. APC is cursed!!! |
Lagos state APC adopted direct primary to oust Ambode even though there were no very glaring factions with court cases. D direct primary was only adopted to do d bidding of some well placed politicians. Apc both as a party and a govt have been known for playing double standards almost in everything. N d yeye prof is one of d major champion of this game |
I wonder what d yeye Sagging Prof who supported d NWC and Oshiomole on direct primary in Edo state as being more democratic and inclusive will say on this issue. Let me guess his view on this: Well, its in the wisdom of NWC as d organ of d party charged with d responsibility of choosing d appropriate mode of primary. I think such a decision has d backing of all d major APC stakeholders in Ondo state. What a shameful professor!!! |
We have always prayed for positive things yo happen in the presidency. Is this an answer to our prayers. |
Almost all the cabinet members in aso rock just to install medical equipment? Hmmmm. The last time they visited like this was when baba was in London resting after medical treatment |
Beautiful article by BBC. As far as I am concerned, there are no kings in Nigeria. They are best local traditional rulers who are over rated and hyped beyond measure. You can't claim to be a king when you don't control any army, you can't protect your kingdom from Fulani herdsmen and bandit rather you cry to the elected state and local govt leaders to come to your rescue. What befell the emir of kano can happen to oba of Benin, ooni of ife, oba of Lagos, Alaafin of Oyo, oba of warri, obi of Onitsha. We keep budgeting and wasting money on these kings without a corresponding input from them to development and progress. |
Sanusi belittled himself the very day he accepted to be crowned emir. He is too educated, enlightened, civilized and trendy to head a traditional institution that promotes primitiveness, old customs and values. So rather than him upholding old customs and traditions he was practically fighting them because of his exposure to modern reality. For instance, traditional customs in most climes expect the females not to be seen or heard, but modern reality (and Sanusi) does not support this view. Gov. Ganduje did what the average Nigeria politician are known for- CRUSHING OF EVERY DISSENTING VOICE AND PERCEIVED POLITICAL ENEMY. |
The fans of Jagaban will come with a new narrative like: Tinubu got wind of Oshiomole's hidden agenda to be vice presidential candidate to El Rufai, so he plotted Oshio's removal but pretends to be supporting him openly. Tinubu the political master strategist. When he speaks every member of APC shivers.........clowns |
The judiciary has once again proved to be the last hope of the common man (politician).
|
U want us to believe that Oshio is in this mess because Tinubu refused to help. But I think Tinubu can't help him because APC at d national level is different from Lagos APC where he has everyone in his pocket.

This graduate of Toronto spoke so eloquently, however, the summary of his speech is an insult to all the Yoruba elders, leaders, governors and people of south west who have since spoken to support Amotekun. Its an insult to suggest that those who have taken a stand before now spoke out of ignorance and haste. Furthermore, he still didn't address the issue at hand speaking with both sides of his mouth. |
Why has Jagaban of burdilon and bullion van refused to make any comment about Amotekun? He should speak up about the security of lives and properties of his people above his presidential ambition and unholy alliance with the north. This is what is expected from true leaders. |
Do u blame the north? Blame the YouTube leaders who supported n enthroned this useless govt for political interest. I expect Tinubu who d yoruba adore as a model to speak on this issue. But guess what, Tinubu careless about her people, his priority is his political ambition. Said baba. We should just stop wailing, Jonathan was inept n collapsed failure and Buhari is the best thing that happened to Nigeria since 1960 |
....."We know say na thief but na our thief" but sir with all due respect, you also said you cant speak against the president because he is your friend. So i feel you are part of the enemies. How come you are no longer addressing real issues in the polity like you did in the past....for instance, you led a mass protest and fought against oil subsidy, unemployment and poverty of the masses. What has happened to your drive for activism? Or are things any better now? |
Too much grammar but no action. Nigerians are not oblivious of her enemies and oppressors. What we need now are courageous men to speak against evil and oppressive governance such as you did at ojota Lagos state in 2014 with the save Nigeria activism. Sowore was held in captivity unjustly, we expected much from prominent men like you and others but you were missing in action. God deliver us from our enemies. For me the true enemies are men who cant challenge evil because of the regards to sustain friendship and alliance. |
This news should have read: the president has vowed never to travel abroad to seek medical treatment. He has also instructed all government functionaries to seek medical treatment here at home. In the same vein, the president urge Nigerians to emulate this example set by government. |
The newly elected members of the Senate headed by Senator Ahmed Lawal has not lived up to the expectations of most Nigerians as regards proper representation. In a democracy, the legislature and judiciary are supposed to serve as checks and balances for the executive and vice versa. However, this has not been the case. What we have seen since the Ahmed Lawal led senate took over is more of a weak (rubber stamp) senate who is ready to do the bidding of the executive even at the expense of the citizen they are supposed to represent. Senate president Ahmed Lawal frustrates quality debate on national issues that aims at challenging the executive arm's policy direction. The kind of leadership provided by the former senate president Bukola Saraki seem to be missing, where the senate lived up to its responsibility by giving room for quality debates on national issues and rejecting proposals from the executives that doesn't translate to better standard of living for Nigerians. But what we see today is that the legislature is just an extension of the executive arm of government. This defeats the principle of separation of powers and checks and balance. I think this portends danger to the deepening of our democracy. I believe partisan politics should end during campaign for election and good governance should be the focus afterwards where the interest of Nigerians should be the main priority. I would want to see a situation where the senate speak to challenge the executive arm whenever they were abusing power or taking an unpopular policy that won't better the lot of Nigerians. The romance between the various arms of government should only be to the extent to which it positively impacts on the populace.

Where is Dele Momodu, he won't write those his long epistles to condemn this evil act of the DSS on his fellow journalist n ex presidential candidate. He is only interested in promoting candidates who have given him big brown fat envelopes, and he will begin blowing big bog grammar |
I wonder why the professor of law called Itself sagay is keeping mute at such a time as this when d DSS headed by his evil boss is desecrating d temple of Justice. I perceive they jazzed some of this political class not to stand for d truth. |
Someone like Tinubu, won't speak against this kind of tyranny being perpetrated by this evil government because he hopes to take over govt in 2023. He is ready to trade and sacrifice anyone including his very own. Great leaders are known for their ideology not their affluence n influence |
I pity Sowore for his travails. However, this is what you get when you malign a just man and paint a devil to be a saint. I wish Dele Momodu is also given a little bite of the Sowore treatment. These Journalists are part of the evil marketers who portrayed Buhari to be a saint. President Goodluck Jonathan is enjoying himself in Otuoke watching his enemies suffer. |
