Dear Mogadoni,

I agree with you but I guess it is just an issue of over-excitement that made Guy Jango to have acted the way he did. As much as it was proper for him to have highlighted what he made in a day, courtesy demands him to be quite explicit in furnishing the house the details of his JD-Job Descriptions. This will at least make some doubting Thomases to appreciate how genuine his pay-check was.

Whatever be the case let's not be too personal over the whole issue.
Man Mogadoni, can I forward my Resume to you for upward move to your HR. I guess 2.4 million is not a chicken-money for EL.
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: I Need Your Advice by awa(m): 9:44am On Oct 30, 2007
Hoagokuns,

This is no shortcut here. My dear you have to go and serve your fatherland if you are still within the age bracket for Youth service. Otherwise, wait and collect your Exemption Certificate. If the work at your present company is meant for you, then after NYSC you can still come back to romance for the job. One thing you need to understand is that our attitude of not-letting go of what we think we have presently often denies us better prospects.

I stand to be challenged that where you are now might not be the best place meant for you. You studied a nice course and with the wonderful grade you claimed to have, I am certain that there are brighter prospects for you after service. Don't feel so comfortable working there as a Yes-Sir boy.

May the good God that knoweth the way guide and direct you accordingly. All the best as you look up to God the Author and Finisher of your faith.

That's not the end of the tunnel for him. He should continue to look unto God the Author and Finisher of his Faith. To God be the glory as he stands a chance of getting another offer that he will make.

Iyawo,
We expect to welcome you soon to Nigeria. I will like to find out if your husband is a Nigerian? If the answer is not in the affirmative, please make sure both of you actually get the job while in the States before coming to Nigeria. It could have been relatively easier for you to get Job when in Nigeria if you had study Engineering or Science Course. You will readily be deployed into the Oil Sector as an Expatriate.

Meanwhile, if your claims are anything to go by I think you can consult the US Consulate here in Nigeria for further assistance. I do hope it will be better for you Ma. All the same we look forward to welcoming you to Nigeria.

Is a pity to hear such feedback from Nairalanders.
The truth is that we must all get to the destination by and large.
Accept it all in the spirit of Job-scouting.

Dear bundo,

To God be the glory!!!
It is a thing of joy that one can contribute in one's little way in making another happy. The Forum to me is like a househood where everybody is somebody and being one's brother's keeper rules.
May the good God that knoweth the heart of all men continue to direct your foot-prints in all thing. You mean alot to us and the best MUST certainly be your portion. Amen!!!

Dear mogadoni,

Naow! You dont know how excited the guy might have been. I really wish you had been more polite to him. For him to have made 50K is a single day could have generated such huge excitation state for him.

My man, ayo jango, enjoy your money but don't forget that you might not end up making 1.5 Million per month. So you may wish to save some provided what you are doing is not Yahoo-yahoo like.

It is all about doing what you love doing while making your ends meet. All the best with your career at SFH. Meanwhile, hand over everything to God He must have reasons for directing you that way so that you can make the world a better place.

My man,
You may have reason(s) to doubt more than the Biblical Thomas but going through the contact the guy provided and I quote:

Please send your application and CV including three references to
katramodelling@mail2model.com

I think he meant well because the website www.mail2model.com is actually ISP related. Why not apply for the job? For me there is no harm in trial.

Bros,
Relax your mind as there is no need for you to panic. The truth about the feedback is that you were not among the first batch called for the Medicals. Meanwhile, that doesn't mean you wont be called granted that you passed. Let's keep praying that they will call ASAP those of us that have not been called.
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Cetel Test Format by awa(m): 1:58pm On Oct 25, 2007
Dear Agbo2 and ok2000,

I called two of my friends that are currently working with CELTEL, one is an Assistant Manager Network Maintenance while the other is a Specialist Transport Network and both of them told me that Professional positions do not require aptitude test.
Base on this verification from their HR Partnering at the Regional Level, I can reliably assure you to put more effort in defending your CV and also having fore-knowledge of the position sought for.

Please, it might interest you to note that CELTEL Nigeria is undergoing some kind of strategic re-structuring with the Parent Company ZAIN Group formerly MTC trying to invoke some fresh policies in all facets of the firm's operations. I was also informed that the current embargo on external recruitment was necessitated by the exercise. However, my Cousin that went for their interview three weeks before mine in July 19th has just been called to start work by November.

As you guys prepare for the interview, I pray it will be the new Managerial Personnel that will interview you all. Yes that reminds me, you will most likely face 4-man Panel: Two from the Department that request your service, one from the HR Partnering, one from a related department to the position you sought for. At the end of the interview, make sure you fill in the Recruitment Form they will issue well as this form will still add to your success on the interview.

One love my people, I can't wait to see you guys there at CELTEL to make life better.

OK, OK, OK! i'm one of those involved in this fight embarassed and its high time we took responsibility for our actions. Stellose, i didnt like how u reacted but im also very sorry for calling u names. u did a nice job and i know u tried your best ok. i love u kiss

@chichiafro, its ok, lets forget this matter ones and for all.

@iykrion, it may please u to know that im sending this reply from my system in my office. when i say i reluctantly sent the cv to stellose box, i meant it, because im not unemployed, but if i need a better job, its not at all cost. i choose to apply wherever i choose to and if i don't feel like it, then i don't feel like it. everyone must not work in diamond or unity bank. so theres nothing hypocritical about it ok. grin

@all, do have a wonderful day. i love u all kiss grin cheesy

one more time, Stellose, im really sorry. take care of yourself.
Dear omena555,

I must confess that I really love your kind of person. You know when to show your anger and also when to extend your wonderful hand offer of reconciliation. Thanks for teaching many that there is need for doing the right thing at the right time.

For this single act, permit me to say that I love you and will forever Cherish your mannerism.
May I quickly add here that this is the kind of attitude we expect from our so-called Leaders in Nigeria. Had it been a woman like you whose name is "Dishonourable" Patricia Etteh exhibited this kind of gesture long time ago at the Chamber of the House of Reps, who knows Hon. Safana from Kastina might not have departed when he did.

Once more, though on a personal note, I will want to encourage you to continue with this kind of humility as God will always make you great in life. I love you baby.

For crying out loud, what is Stellose's crime here?
Please, let everyone of us that might have been insulted forgive.
I want to believe that Stellose or Omenka or chichiafro or whoever else that felt insulted should, for the sake of one love, forgive.
Therefore, let's forget this issue. We are like family here.
