earthrealm:

oops i don reveal state secret!!

Dear Earthrealm,

I didn't say so oh!!!

My only interest for posting the update is for Fellow Landers to start making fast move(s) to the VISAFONE office in view of the fresh landmark they have made. I strongly believe there will be openings for people to join VISAFONE soonest.

Please do keep your fingers crossed as the Press will soon write about the acquisition for you and others to know the CDMA firm acquired. My job is that of BSS/RF Engineering oh!!!

stellose:
next tomorrow airforce secondary school. but don't have the time, just be there say 8am,but guys and ladies amy and navy dey there oo

Greatest Nigerian Graduates,

We can never be intimidated nor stampede in our quest for job. Therefore, MOPOL or Navy, who cares!!! No be work we dey look for or abi we resemble Millitants?

My people,

I forgot to add that those interested in VISAFONE should try to forward their CVs even if it is assumed unsolicited. I know there is much room for them to recruit for their expansion exercise.

I must confess that the Jim Ovia Powered VISAFONE is on rampage to redefine the revolutions of the Telecoms world through CDMA Technology which is gaining popularity today in Nigeria like the European GSM standard.

Please do make use of this opportunity as anything could happen for prospective Employees.

Fellow Landers,

I want to authoritatively inform all in the house that VISAFONE has acquired a Giant CDMA firm operating in the South-South and South-East region of the nation.

This is a classified posting as I am an Insider in the CDMA that has being acquired. I work as an Engineer with the firm that has been bought over.

Therefore, I want as many that seek career in the Telecoms Subsector to keep in touch with VISAFONE as they may soon throw open their recruitment window. Please always check for update at www.visafone.com.ng  for openings ASAP.

semidaraeb:
awa there is no harm in goin for the interview and if u re sucessful check out their pay package first but from what i ve from friends about this new visa phone poeple they are going to pay big money because they ve started traini some people they got from other telecom firms and offern them big pay and since they ve bought your firm well then if they retain the workers they can only increase their pay so think deep and pray before u make your final decision

cheers

Dear Semidaraeb,

I am really touched by your brotherly pieces of advice. I wouldn't mind if there could be suggestions with respect to the job Prospects in VISAFONE and LinkSoft. The main reason of asking for this clarification is owing to the fact that both firms are into Telecoms. LinkSoft has international reputation while VISAFONE is an emerging CDMA Telecoms Giant.

Please I want more views or perhaps suggestions on the above subject. My good people of Nairaland I need help like never before.

Dear,
I have also been invited for an interview with them on the 28th of the month for the position of Shift Controller.

I am apparently confused on what to do about moving from PortHarcourt to Abuja for the interview when VISAFONE is taking over the CDMA firm I work with today (22-11-07).

Please I need suggestions from my good people of Nairaland about this move.

jactech:
please i have been invited for an interview with Linksoft Communications System Ltd in Abuja on the 28/11.Any info about the compay/interview for telecom Engineers. Can someone help? Also, how much do they pay? what prospect holds for one taking up job with them? thanks.

I have not heard of any interview for HDOs. Please any Applicant for the said position who might have been invited for interview should tell the house.

CONGRATS
To God be the glory!!!!!!!

Actually you didn't mention the nature of your current pay-pack from what you are doing at the moment but from the tune of your posting is obvious that you are quite okay. But from all angles, I guess it will be nice for you to take up the offer and perhaps believe God for the best that will come out of it. You must ask God for the way out in a situation like this.

SOMEBODY IN THE HOUSE SHOUT HALLELUJAH!!!
FOR THE LORD IS GOOD. CAN I HEAR A BIGGER PRAISE THE LORD OUR GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME AND ALL THE TIME OUR GOD IS GOOD.

Brethren in the house, I want to thank God for the life of our brother Gbokukueba who God has blessed extra-ordinarily. The good Lord that has done it for Gbokukueba will also do it for everyone of us especially me,CLEMENT.

Brother Gbokukueba, please continue to believe in God for more greater things will still come your way. Do enjoy the good work or rather "Job" that God has blessed you with.

We are all glad for you here in Nairaland.

oloksman1:
Stellose was right,
the online form was available even though, I was able to fill it (for graduate trainee) when i submitted i was prompted to have filled the form earlier ie they already have my information in their DATABASE.
That was true,
I wrote my test in benin,
i passed it but at the interview,I had no NYSC Discharge certificate(because i'll wait till Feb.08 to get mine, they said they can't wait till Feb08)

THIS IS MY EXPERIENCE

Dear oloksman1,
The key issue here is whether First Bank is currently recruiting Graduate Trainees and not availability of the On-line form. May I quickly remind you that any pieces of information posted in this Forum is always important especially if such has to do with Job openings. While some could browse at the comfort of their Houses others have to pay transport fare to a Cyber cafe where they will buy ticket just for them to browse.
Therefore, it becomes imperative for one to verify the authenticity of one's Posting before publishing such. That way we might save some guys hard-earned money.

Meanwhile, I was thinking that before now STELLOSE could have rephrased her posting to reflect the true situation on ground. I will gladly appreciate if this could be done ASAP.

By God's grace the First Bank expected 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Batches Inductions exercise for last Graduate Trainee position must favour everyone of us that attended the interview. May I suffice it to say that the exercise will not be completed, by God's grace, without me as a First Bank's staff.

My people I greet you all,

This is what I saw on the page: http://www.firstbanknigeria.com/car/car_vac.asp and I quote:

You can see things for yourself and know who is right or wrong.

Since he is looking for a job and the man has offered him the job of marrying the daughter perhaps with high pay; he should accept the offer and be prepared to resign as soon as he is no longer comfortable with the job. It is funny that you didnt post this thread in the right place. All the best to your guy.

Had the same message. Let it be really so.

RELTEL's interview is basically on your CV and also with fore-knowledge of the field you are called for.

Please I will appreciate if you could assist me to help you with info on their interview. I attended mine on the 18th of last month though I am yet to get feedback from them. Please do tell me the post you are seeking and then your number of years of experience.

mogadoni:
awa, as regards to your enquiry on gtb recruitment, there is one now but send it to modupe.famiyesin@gtbplc.com and do it quick she is in charge of entry level recruitment. She actually was when i applied and still is.Nice young girl too.Funny when u see how young these people r.And by the way, they r very particular with age, not sure if they will exceed 27.So if you're older u better use a declaration from a good high court. But please not on the islad because its easily sought out.People think its all about passing the tes but its not.You can easily fall out of the interview for conflicting credentials or inadequate o level(not meeting 5 credits with maths and english inclusive in 1 sitting). Then there is the issue of the training school because u must aggregate 65% and nothing less or u fet kicked out.Its high challenge alll the way.Just letting u know all the obstacles. So if you're still dare, then all i can say is, wouldn't u rather bank with us?

Dear Mogadoni,

You are indeed cheerished for this singular act of yours. I do appreciate your effort however, I am quite older than 26 and I doubt if I can go for Entry-Level position with my three years of experiences in the ICT world.

Congrats man,

Your success is synonymous with the Almightiness of God just as you coincidentally bear the name OLUMIGHTY. I just sent you a personal email. To God be the glory!!!

AMEN! AMEN!! AMEN!!!
Sister zenitta, I really believe that and the good Lord that knoweth the heart of all men will certainly make it real for us to be invited for the second round of the exercise. He that brought us this far will not drop us just like that.
Sister Zenitta, I love your faith in the Lord and I solicit your continue prayer in this regard. God will make it for us!!!
We all must get there ASAP. AMEN AMEN AMEN!!!
