I think Bartomeau is better. I can list some of his accomplishments. At least under him, Barca became both the most valuable club in football and had the highest influx of income 2 and 3 years ago. Has Buhari done something like that for Nigeria since 2015??
Most valuable club! How much did we get from Forbes for that achievement, Bros?

Highest influx of income for 2 and 3 years ago, nice to know, but where did that income disappear to? Why are we suddenly in debt? Don't bring Covid excuse o, cos that affecting every other club out there, not Barça alone, why are they not in financial mess like ours?

So, if an engineer builds a beautiful house, and the house falls apart because of bad decisions on his part, you will still call him a brilliant engineer?

Bartomeau had excellent financial plans for the club but the sporting aspect suffered. Barca is a sporting project before it's a financial project. The finances are necessary to support the sporting projects but they planned very very badly, the frightening wage bill was poorly planned and signing Greizman wasn't well thought through.
But they sha gave us De Jong and Pedri that's all. I am certain that 142m they used in signing Coutinho would have brought us someone good from the academy or some cheaper midfielder from Ligue 1 or Bundesliga. That's poor planning but economically, Bartomeau had brilliant ideas.
Yeah, you are right. And see where his 11 years excellent and brilliant financial genius brought us to . I dey clap for am.

And personally, looking at some of Bartomeau's wins as Barca president, I think he is a better leader than Buhari
You are comparing Pot to kettle, for blackness matter.

Buhari o, Bartomeau o, which is better, especially since since both of them start with "B", they are both failures and destructive.

I understand though. I shouldn't hate Messi. Because I dont know if I can still enjoy him now he is no longer with Barca.

Its such a shame, you know. Those times we would be asking non-Barca fans to enjoy Messi. How hypocritical!! grin grin
Like how can they enjoy him when they're at the receiving end of his genius huh Sadly, we will soon find ourselves also in such an unfortunate position. Me, I can't enjoy Messi if we meet in the UCL and he fires goals to send us packing sad sad Well, Can you?
Yes I can. I watch football for the fun of its, not fanship alone. We've lost some games with Messi mesmerizing on field and still enjoyed watching it.

If we prepare defensively well against Messi's team in the UCL, we may just be lucky and go through, Cadiz beat us home and away last season with all our world class players, (Messi inclusive).

There are so many players that have graced the game of football that I follow them and watch them wherever and whenever.

E.G. Messi, Zidane, Ronaldinho, Maradona, Bergkamp and many more..

I support Barca but whenever and wherever I see a skilful player anywhere and everywhere, I stop and watch. Even if na 5 aside.

Are you seriously telling me that you're going to hear that Messi is playing a match somehere and you are not going to switch on your tv set and watch him play because he's no longer at Barca?

Tell me you're joking pls.
Abi o? I sometimes watch CR7 sef. (not to troll him o, but to enjoy his off the ball movements, his trickery and positioning. Am I going to hate Suarez now because he is playing for a rival?

Jeeez!

So you will still be following Messi all the way to PSG.

Won't do that.

I dislike PSG as a club. That club has singlehandedly dealt with Barca. First, they snatched Neymar away from us. We havent really recovered from that shock. Now they take away Messi, even though it is more due to Barca's inability to keep him. Yet, they took him away. And they have never agreed to sell anyone to us.

My dislike for them even now increased by some distance, Messi or no Messi. Because of that, I am no longer interested in Messi's progress as a player. He is a former GOAT. I look forward to crowning a new one as soon as possible. Anyone who is not for me, is clearly against me. As much as we would not like to admit it, Messi is now against Barcelona. If he catch us for UCL, he won't show no mercy sad
My bros. Is there any written rule that one must be a fan to only one club?

I, for one is a fan of Barcelona primarily, but have love for other clubs as well,

I love Man city, Ajax, AC Milan and Real Madrid (just hate their trolls). I even wear some of their jerseys anytime I wish. Now I'm adding PSG's M30, and N10 to them.

Tbh you've said it all I rather we lose messi to a better side where he wouldn't have to work twice as hard as of the past few years at barca and recover financially than keep him and become more bankrupt and probably not grant him a fifth UCL title, Laporta tried all he could but sadly tebas tried to blackmail him, I assure you if the super league clicks many would come back to bite their words, If I was Laporta I would have done the same thing, messi deserves the best for the last few playing days of his career but not at the club's expense, The years of rebuilding post Messi have just been pushed forward, Other talent need to show us what they can do instead of hiding under his glory and masterclass, The journey would be tough, we might make references to him when the team isn't doing well in the final third, we might lose 6-0,7-0, might struggle to advance in the UCL, might end up trophyless, will be trolled till kingdom come but with the right decisions we would bounce back, We might never get a player as distinguished and magical as him ever, might never get one who delivers goals and assists both in bulk but it's great knowing most of the legacy in catalonia came from him, It's time to show what we can do post messi
Visca Barca
Very nice write-up. I hope we remember this your summation whenever the club underperforms to lift our spirit up that tomorrow will be better (hopefully). However, I'm still not over this Messi leaving cold. I too like dat guy.

Oldboss:
there is one thing to be learnt from Ronald Koeman’s
first season at Barcelona, it is his confidence in the youth.
Last season, the Dutchman not only bet on Pedri, Oscar
Mingueza, Ronald Araujo and Ilaix Moriba but also made
many of them starters by the end of the season.
The preseason is the perfect time to identify young assets
and decide whom to bet on for the first team. Mundo
Deportivo reports that Koeman has identified four players
to provide opportunities with the first team.
The first of the four is Yusuf Demir . The Austrian forward
was signed for the B team this summer but has
impressed the manager and staff in training.
In the opening two games, the 18-year-old has sizzled in
the front line. His cohesion with the team has been one
that very few players can boast of. The idea of stepping
him up to the first team may pay off tremendously.
The second player on the list is Alejandro Balde .
Barcelona have looked far and wide for a player to provide
Jordi Alba competition, and it seems the coach has found
the answer in the B team.
The 18-year-old has shown composure and flair in the
preseason so far. Moreover, he has been dynamite going
forward. With the vacancy in the first team still not filled,
Balde could well be in the first-team plans.
Gavi and Nico Gonzalez are the two midfielders who
complete the list. Koeman sees Nico Gonzalez as a direct
replacement for Sergio Busquets.
The 16-year-old Gavi lit up the field against both Nastic
and Girona. His initiative driving forward with the ball
especially is of great appeal to the manager.
Barcelona have a lot of stars in the making and identifying
the creme-de-la-creme is the first step. Barcelona could
hope to have four new match-winners come the end of the
season.
Yeah! Good one. Getting back to the La masia days gradually. Bartomeu no try at all, he spoil a lot of things.

Look at Puig who will do anything to get playing time.. this one is still doing still shakara upandan.
To me, I think some of our players are just in for the money, no loyalty, no consideration at all How can this buffoon be demanding for pay rise when the club itself is battling how to survive it's debts? That's why they are less concerned if the team succeed or not. All they are after is money.
Christianity EtcRe: Have You Ever Considered Paying Tithes To Those Who Need Help? by Awesome01(m): 6:19pm On Jul 25, 2021
stagger:
Tithes belongs to God, not to the needy. You have 90% of your increase to decide what to do for the needy. Don't misplace priorities mister man.

People like you are the greedy Christians who can never bear to give God what belongs to God. The 10% God asked for, you want to give to the needy so you alone can enjoy the 90%. What a heartless, manipulative mindset!
And where is GOD, so I can give him tithe myself. If you tell me to give it to any man representing him. Then, it's a scam. So I will rather give it to any human I feel should have it.

And since the Bible says I should help the needy, I'll rather give it directly to them than use spoon to throw water in a sea. Thanks

MESSI THE GOAT

Take away Messi’s goals and he provides assists, take away his assists and you get his playmaking abilities, take away his playmaking abilities and you get his dribbling, take away his dribbling, you get his vision, take away his vision and he makes up for it with his intelligence. Who can beat that?

PURE CLASS.

I have always known Penaldo is a fraud.

Penaldo must win international trophies at every age group before he can dine at Messi's table.
How the table has turned?

The question used to be "Let Messi win a trophy for his country then we will call him the GOAT"

Yet, some of his fans are here famzing on King Messi's case, you better be looking for a good mental institution for your president instead.

Robert Lewandowski who is also another world class star has praised Lionel Messi after the Copa in a recent interview. The Bayern Munich star has described Lionel Messi as one of the best footballers in the world. Well, Lewandowski who is also a contender for the Ballon Dior has surprised many by saying that he won't mind if he loses the prestigious award to Lionel Messi.
