MaxInDHouse:
Where is that funny moderator101 guy?

Come and see your church people calling for the death of a human being simply because that one doesn't believe in his God.

That is what Jehovah's Witnesses (true Christians) will never ever do! Matthew 5:43-48
Nobody is calling for death on anyone.

We're just doing a simple experiment and the subject is completely fine with it, what's it to you?

Why are you crying another man's tears??

well they have been giving me this type of yeye predictions since 2016 on nairaland and I am still here. Many of them are not. So you see my point. Better to do it fast fast abo your power no reach?
You can't technically say all of these na until 01/01/2027.

By which time, you really won't be able to, one way or another.

We just need to be sure you won't be dropping your credentials on this account to someone else after your exit, just so you can provide a false proof.

abeg stop that nonsense. I must die on or before that date o. Don't cancel anything. This is how you people deceive yourselves. If I am still alive in 2027 you will claim one nonsense grace that you game me. Abeg stop that rubbish and make sure you stand by it.
I won't, only you can!

I've issued the decree as well as a time limit for its execution.

So anytime from now till year end, you will have the experience.
Christianity Etc › Re: Why Is A Dog More Useful For Protection Than God? by awesomeJ(m): 7:57pm On Jan 08
HardMirror:
that is too far nau. Make it faster. By that date you may not be on nairaland again. But if you make it this week. Everyone can be involved and see how powerful you are
I've been on nairaland for 10 years.
Don't worry about me staying here beyond you.
Christianity Etc › Re: Why Is A Dog More Useful For Protection Than God? by awesomeJ(m): 7:57pm On Jan 08
HardMirror:
please make it fast. Can it be this week?
Date is set already.

It's no longer far.

I've however left you a small window to cancel the order.

Provided you will come here to publicly acknowledge your ignorance and repent.

Otherwise your exit will be solely on you.

I am cool with it. Please go ahead. I absolve you of any responsibility.

I will also rather set the bulk of your remaining days to be spent in pain and agony. Just cause I prefer it like that.
Christianity Etc › Re: Why Is A Dog More Useful For Protection Than God? by awesomeJ(m): 7:33pm On Jan 08
Let me know if you're good with the terms, let me set the date here publicly.
Christianity Etc › Re: Why Is A Dog More Useful For Protection Than God? by awesomeJ(m): 7:32pm On Jan 08
I will just simply set a time beyond which your breath will cease. If there's indeed no spiritual power I won't be able to do that, and you won't have anything to worry about, but since there's spiritual power, you will either have to admit your ignorance or put your house in order. Living is a privilege, not everyone deserves it.
Christianity Etc › Re: Why Is A Dog More Useful For Protection Than God? by awesomeJ(m): 7:31pm On Jan 08
Anyways I have a simple challenge to confirm for you whether your thinking is what's correct.

I hope I'm able to type it without a ban
Christianity Etc › Re: Why Is A Dog More Useful For Protection Than God? by awesomeJ(m): 7:30pm On Jan 08
HardMirror:
hehehehe. There is nothing your God is useful for. That is a fact. There are over 1000 religions on earth and there is zero evidence that Christians are living a better live than any other religion or atheists. Showing clearly that your prayers are useless.
The problem now is that it's so hard to respond to you without getting banned
Christianity Etc › Re: Why Is A Dog More Useful For Protection Than God? by awesomeJ(m): 5:09pm On Jan 08
HardMirror:
I realized that is better to have dog protecting you than a god.

Yes the dog may have limited abilities, but it will still be more useful than God that does nothing.

Every Christian and Muslim is now online crying to the federal government to improve security. Only those who take action and depend on efficient police and military get results. Prayers have not saved anyone from terrorists.
Until witches serve you and your dog for lunch and your carcass becomes manure you will have sense.
Christianity Etc › Re: Why Is A Dog More Useful For Protection Than God? by awesomeJ(m): 5:07pm On Jan 08
Seun:
Prayers are as effective as good wishes. Even the Bible says that faith without works is dead.
You're commenting in ignorance.

If you haven't experienced the effectiveness of prayers, don't you think it's wrong for you to try appraise it?

If you said "my prayers are ineffective" That would be accurate, cos indeed it might even be an abomination.

But don't generalize in ignorance by trying to appraise the effectiveness of everyone's prayers.

Those who keep doing it are intelligent enough to tell if it's been worthwhile or not, you trying to insult their intelligence is prideful.

Agbalowomeri:
Palm oil is an international commodity and all international commodity experience boom and burst cycles
Yes sir.
I'm just saying the company isn't operating a stagnant asset base.

They keep growing.

If output grows by 200%, that's more than enough to absorb a 30% burst.

If they currently do 200k tonnes at $1000 per tonne. That's $200m gross

If prices crash to $700 per tonne, but they're outputting 500k tonnes, then they'll be doing $350m absorbing the burst completely and shining in a crash.

Just like some of us still shine in bear markets.

Every player can always hedge themselves against market downturns.

Agbalowomeri:
Is palm oil immune to the commodity cycle?
What's the relevance of cycle here? If thousands of hecatares in new acquisitions start yielding massively?

You make it sound like the earnings will be flat. Even at constant earnings multiple, as long as the E increase, the P will increase too.

Stock that will sell for N7000 in the next 5 years or less, if they continue with their growth and efficiency
And since you will keep loading more. It means hitting $1m for you is happening in 5 years or less.

If not for your fixed deposit, aren't you supposed to be on N20b already.

Imagine if you bought some E stocks instead of fixed deposit.

So at the end like 10 holder will take different small loss and gap will be covered and everyone moves to gain as the stock becomes active and possiblly appreciate than being stagnant
Yes exactly.

The only problem here is that we're trying to shift the responsibility of an efficient market to the companies while it should be on the NGX.

When they last revised that rule in 2019, only one stock traded above #600.

They changed it to avoid distortions to the index, but they inadvertently created a bigger problem of illiquidity. It's almost 7 years now, there are 7 stocks trading above 600 and MTNN may soon join too.

It won't make taiwo not to put Eagle eye on him as HNI.i hope u remember they say thr target is 10% in the population which is obviously a lier too but he don qualify for that 10%
With N5bn, Agba is in top 0.1%

Some estimates say only 7000 millionaires are in Nigeria.

Agba is one of them.

7000 is 0.007% of 100m adults in Nigeria.

I think it could help half way.The majority or big holder who wants to move the stock at 100k rule will have to sacrifice not that kind big loss again. if what he wants to gain in future is large.Thereby creating liquidity as the gap closes which will equally attract other holders to close the gap more.i hope I am making sense. The sacrifice can easily go round to close the gap even from traders like u
Yes you're making much sense.

If they split 10 for 1, the 5k gap reduces to #500, then the loss from selling 100k units on ngx is N50m instead of N500m.

Agbalowomeri:
Na now you just dey talk
The shareholders should find a solution
That's why some shareholders would mandate a stock split
If you understood the problem you would know stock split doesn't change anything.

If you split the stock from 2270 to 227, would that fix the issue of the same 227 stock selling for 700 in London?

But since you only trade one a year, you wouldn't understand these dynamics.

Maybe yes, maybe note. Until we get Elumelu's motives and future actions, we may not know. Elumelu may want to increase his stake from just 20%
Yes.

My comment was skewed by my short term mind.

It's complicated irrelevant to long termers.

Thanks for the balance.

Seplat don move grin cheesy

Dey wait for another 10 pecent
It's currently at 280p in London.
Consider that while you're waiting.

If SEPLAT does another 10% to 6800, it will likely get into another extended period of illiquidity (full offers)
