A lot of Nigerians are oblivious of the systematic marginalization of SE and SS. There is a reason why Onitsha, Calabar, Port Harcourt and Warri ports are not in operation or fully functional as Lagos ports despite SE and SS/energy companies accounting for nearly 70% of all imports. There is a reason why Enugu, Port Harcourt, Calabar, Asaba Airports are not as functional as Lagos, Abuja and Kano despite SE and SS accounting for nearly 75% of all international travels. Something is not right if you have conscience and ability to reason!

I don't know why people can't just say the truth as they see it. We always do this nonessential tribalism shit.
Obviously, the SS and SE youths are still savages that's why no private investor or even government would be willing to invest in such infrastructure.
How many times do u hear white people being kidnapped in lagos? And you see white guys living freely in vi, freely going for shopping at the palms et al. Try dat in ph or Warri and nobody needs to tell you how it will end.

The earlier the SS and SE youth wake up, the better. These areas are still prone to lots of community and wahala and all sorts of shit which can not allow any normal thinking individual invest there. Period!!!

Let them first discover a replacement (cleaner/greener, comparable in cost, comparable in effectiveness as per versatility in usage, and in good quantity) before making such nonsense statements.

Yes they don't. After the final assessment day, successful peeps are put in a talent pool where managers pick from and call for chats. I was in such a pool for 1whole year and then got a regret email. It is possible I also missed a call but I never tried calling back..

Shell recruitment is on a first come first serve basis.. Dunno if d numbers really mean anything. It's possible someone who applies today get a number dat starts with 16 but he takes two weeks to complete his assessment while someone who applies next week get a number dat starts with 20 but he completes his assessment d same day.. Shell will definitely treat the application of the later first before d other guy; hence my statement that d numbers do not mean much

I heard shell has started sending messages for phone interview.
On the message, shell proposes some time frame for several dates for you to pick your most suitable time.

I am quite certain you don't remember the particular email addy u used for the application. Can you check your email for the first and second replies you got from shell? if they are not there then that is d wrong email

But if I am wrong, maybe you need to send an email to career@shell.com

Heard that some technical guys also got rejects. Please can someone confirm?

For shell to have kept our applications for this long, I believe something good will come out if it in d end.

This is not 419 for the few doubting thomas's in d house. I just got d message about 20mins ago and I applied in 2012.
The messages are coming in batches so y'all b patient.

All applications were in 2012 and some people who didn't complete the application back den were asked to update their applications sometime in 2013/early 2014.
If you didn't apply in 2012, don't expect any message and please stop discouraging peeps dat it's a scam just cos u were not out of school when d application was on.

Why is everyone acting as though 1million copies is 1billion.. Gents who have cars buy cds.. I bought 2 of the cds (1 for each of my cars) cos I don't like transferring cds btw cars.. Remember am just 1 Nigerian out of 170million people.. I million cds is not impossible..
