inumidun2010:You're the emotional one here. You haven't listened to the Music and you resulted into insulting a religion because of the stinking hatred you already harbour. On the other hand I asked, is what was done bad if the allegation is found to be true? You came up to say I'm supporting them ... What a dilemma! How?. Saint Janet or whatever, how does it correlate with this one? Saint Janet is singing rubbish, this one attacked a personality - something punishable with prison term. Which law? The one he said he has not come to scrap? Let say he scrapped it, who gave the law initially? Is he not the God of Jews and your old testament as well? Lastly, what is freedom? What about Freedom to be a lgbt Freedom to fornicate Freedom to abortion E.t.c Hope your religion support all that, oh! You're an agnostic that is shy of manifesting it. What is humanity that has no standard for its definition? |
ABCthings:Thanks for the question Yes, it's an act of disobedience. It's just like me asking, does not wearing cloth make someone less a Christian? |
inumidun2010:Immediately they talk about Islam, some of you just love to abandon your reasoning and logic to spew rubbish. Sensibly, what is bad in what has been done? I've not listened to the music but the allegation is that someone is inciting violence by abuse someone, is it bad to arrest him if it's true? I don't know why some of you just live with natural hate for islam. |
adolfHitler1934:I'll take this as a Question from someone domiciling in oblivion and not an attack. First, except you're an atheist, all religion has terrorists affiliated to it but the media and west only choose to stereotype Islam because it is the greatest opposition to their ideology. "But Islamic terrorist quote the Qur'an as justification" Let me take you through the journey of explanation using Christianity as example. In the Bible, there numerous instances of violent attack on the people/countries just because they refuse to accept God (1 samuel 15:2-3, Hosea 13:16 e.t.c). But they are in the old testament? - who's the God of old testament, isn't it Jesus according to Christians? Say"you've taken it out of context" , why don't you think the Islamic ones was taken out of context too?. Leave that, what about Jesus statement? "But those enemies of mine who did not want me to be king over them--bring them here and kill them in front of me.'" Luke 19:27 You/they may say but no one uses this to kill. That where the media comes in, they silent other religion affiliate evil activity but volume ours. In Uganda, THE LORD RESISTANCE ARMY is a CHRISTIAN TERRORIST that has maimed, raped and displaced over 100,000 people. What about the KKK, the Christian militias in central Africa and numerous individual that has killed lots of people and muslims in the name of christianity E.t.c. You probably haven't heard about them, media don't propagate them and many others. Just few days ago, a 21years old(aaron) by name) boy killed 8 people, the media reported it as "white boy" imagine if it was Muhammed or Abdullah, they would have said "Muslim terrorist" Be wise beyond the media. Even through your hate, Islam is still growing - massively. |
1. Hijab is not like other religious attire, Muslim wear that everywhere but you people wear your religion dressing to religion domain. 2. Hijab is compulsory on a Muslim lady just like a cloth is compulsory on a sane human, saying "there are Muslims that wear hijab but do ....." Is not a justification for anything. People have been using things the wrong way from time immemorial. Should we scrap off pastors or Catholic priest because some have misused there office? 3.please and please, no Christian should ever talk about tolerance when a Muslim says No on a particular issue relating to his religion. Nothing in the Bible says "hate hijab" but y'all are against it, so when a Muslims says "I can't greet you for Christmas" because giving birth to God is against my religion why do you people say he/she is intolerant? 4. Christians should take back their schools but in as much as it's Government funded school, hijab should be allowed else all Christian in Muslim named school should also be forced to wear hijab. Even in European countries, students wear hijab to schools. I won't reply emotional bashing but logical reasonings. Thanks. |
Onyi22:This is a boy! |
It is even good Barcelona was disqualified. It would have been a suicide mission. |
OKOATA:What a loss for you! Many like you have left, Multiple of those that left have trooped in. If you can reason well, amidst this media blackmail, why is this religion still growing fast? In China, Muslims are being forced to do lots of things against their will and religion, none of you people will say that's bad. If that's the truly the agreement, then the hijab shouldn't be allowed in the school. But then, Government should just return the school or what is with the school that I own but can't control 100%. All in all, it will be hypocritical for a Christian to now condemn a Muslim for intolerance if he says I won't wish you happy Christmas or so as many of them used to say. And lastly, Any Christian in a public Muslim schools too must wear the hijab - if Muslims also signed this kinda agreement. |
Anigreat:1. The school is a government school not a Christian school(on paper and legally). The way it(school) was taken from Christian, same way it was taken from Muslim. If you want to force Muslims to remove their hijab because the school have Christian name, can Muslims also force Christians in Muslim named government school to wear hijab? 2. It is very okay you detest Islam, but hate something doesn't really mean you should oppress it. I hate Christianity with all my heart but I relate with Christians well and I'll not oppress them. Before you tell us you hate our religion the Qur'an said it already "neither will the Jew nor the Christian like you until you follow their religion" You people are intolerant people. And for further headache to you, despite the hate from all corner of the world, it is still the fastest growing religion. You know why, the Qur'an said it that "They wish to extinguish the light of Allah with their mouths but Allah will perfect his religion even though the disbelievers dislike it. "It is he who sent the prophet with guidance and the religion of truth to become dominant over all religion even though the disbelievers will not like it" Your hate and opposition is recorded but it is not significant or consequential. The headache is yours in this life and in the next the punishment will roast on you. |
Timmylehyn:Thanks alot, I'll message you soon. |
80k job in ibadan |
Timmylehyn:As a corp member thinking out of getting job after the service, Agriculture always comes to mind. Cassava has been where I want to start due to its resistance and available expertise (many do plant it), The land(1 hectare) is available but my though is is it really worth waiting a year for? I know nothing is constant in agriculture but forecast is possible everywhere. Please like how much will I spend In cultivating a cassava(leaving no stone unturned)farm (1hectare)and how much is the possible return? |
bukatyne:Abraham and all other good men in the Bible that married more than one wife are filled with the spirit of devil right? |
obinnawhyte:You're the one that's emotional because you present no rational thought up in your comment. Probably you need to check up the meaning of the English you used in that reply. |
YoungBlackRico:Ultimately, you'll still lose if it still remain a government school. Your only victory is having your schools back which I have no issue with. |
Lastly, Diezani K. Alison-Madueke |
YoungBlackRico:I knew it make no sense but just they same way the Christians excuse made no sense to me. Please, at the moment who are those losing the most? Be deceiving yourself nbeun. |
advanceDNA:A Christian school taken from them and now given to government but it's now merely a government school named to honour Christian personalities(since it has been taken from them) .Whichever way, it's a government school. |
YoungBlackRico:Please, pass that excuse through scrutiny and see if it sensible? It exposes the student to attack? How? Hijab na stimuli that terrorist they look for? Ok let all the student be wearing hijab then so that terrorist won't be eyeing them. |
1. Tolerance is all about understanding each others religion injunction and been pleased with it in as much as it harm you not. Please, how does this hijab affect Christianity? 2. The school is not a Christian school but a government school, rules are shared. A Muslim public school cannot force non-muslims going to it to don hijab. This is because it is not wholly there school. Have you seen a Muslim school forcing such? 3. The court has ruled again in favour of the Muslim students to wear there hijab. why are the school authorities still opposing that, are they above the law? 4. Hijab isn't like any other wear, Muslim ladies wear it to everywhere. Please, stop comparing it to church wear or traditional wear. You don't wear it everywhere. Most of you here are just doing what the media used to do - twisting. Why do we see the truth and wants to cloud it up? |
Sunnycliff:Stop this analogy please. Hijab is something that's compulsory Muslim ladies and they wear it everywhere. Nothing at all when it comes to wear is a must for a Christian to wear. Lastly, The school is not Christian school. |
theBLOODofJESUS:Tolerance? On the Christian or on the Muslim side? |
LoudLord:Since they also wear it to the market and everywhere they go. Choir robe is a functional dress, hijab is not. |
Moblux:Be sad on your ignorance, who wrote those books? I laugh. Its like someone saying hijab wearing in the north is cultural. Yes, it has turned into culture but what gave birth to it is them embracing Islam. Again, pre-islamic Arabs don't wear hijab. I'm not a Muslim you can teach modicum of his religion. |
Oladipo1166: See the religious boy aiming at my dad just because he cannot stand the test of an argument. Oladipupo Pele o |
cryptotech:Mo gbo Tuntun. Hijab arab arab culture? Oga, it is not everything you hear online you go ahead and confidently start saying. Arabs don't wear hijab before Islam. Thank you. |
Kingspin:Whether st.john or st. Peter, it's government funded and must follow government guidelines. I don't care if private Christian school impose there own law but not public schools. I went to Christian secondary school(private) and I know how they fix activities even in time of jumah on Fridays. Nobody made comments. Get it! There can't be 2 rights and we only take your culture when it brainy. In the name of accepting people's culture, will you give a man that comes from the side of the world where they give there children or wife to visitor one of your family(no insult intended) due to tolerance and culture acceptance? Lastly, how does a wear affect the school? If not stack hatred. In went to a public Muslim secondary school for a term and no one forced a Christian lady to wear a hijab. |
Kingspin:Who told you imams don't do all wrongs? What I'm telling the guy is that people abusing use of something doesn't mean we should criticize the thing, most importantly when it's not that thing thats the cause of it. What you wear has 1000000000 of things to say about you. There are somethings abroad that are normal trends of fashion that only irresponsibility that can push you to it down here. Even in that so called "saner climes", there are ways you dress to different locations. Look, we Muslims knows what's right from what's wrong and we won't bend to backwardness just because everyone feel it's right. Why should a lady dress like that to anywhere in this world? Why should a lady be naked in front of men? It's not civilization but backwardness. I can't allow my own child to be under anyone tutelage for any reason except for that in which I trust and believe in too. Lastly, I'm not saying covenant should allow Muslims to wear hijab in their privately owned schools because I won't allow such in my own school too but preventing student to wear hijab in public school is what's wrong. Hope your irreligious? |
Tareq1105:You're digressing and bringing what's not in the topic into it. Just because some or even many of your pastors goes around sleeping with church member would that means pastors or church be scrapped? We're talking hijab, you're talking fornication .... How does allowing everyone to remove their hijab curb fornication. Take it or leave it, a hijab wearing environment will have reduced fornication rate to a non-hijab wearing environment. Abi do you want to tell me fornication is higher in the north than in the south? A society where they do something secretly is still better than where they do it openly. As doing it openly means calling others into it. Or a child of yours that fornicate secretly and the one that do it to your face in your parlour, which of them respect you more? By the way, how many Muslim women wears the Muslim hijab? Lastly, I'm a Muslim boy, virgin, never kissed or touched a lady romantically, infact, and I've also gotten green light from Christian women. So, what's your point? Leaving hijab will curb fornication? |
Oladipo1166:Do you wear your church gown everywhere? Do Muslims wear there hijab everywhere? That should answer you dear! When they say they won't greet you during your festive you say it's lack of tolerance. Now, they want to wear their own hijab that they wear everywhere to a government funded school you say No. You people are the hypocrite. |
Private universities are always quick to antagonise the obvious - incompetency in their schools. Except for few of them, most of this school are only after profit and most student goes there solely because they can't scale through public school requirements and only few attend due to no-strike advantage. If I'm given opportunity to start school again and choose between a private university or public university, save convenant and few private uni I'll choose a public university again. |
We give them too much attention and we always feel inferior. Here in Nigeria, if I see a white man/woman, no matter the urge to look at them I make sure my gaze doesn't pass once. The annoying thing you will see is most Nigerian looking at them till they feel the importance. We might never be free from it until we develop our country. |
