If Moro was arrested after the rerun was ordered & while serving as Senator Mark's Campaign DG, the PDP would've screamed witch-hunt. But since they won, he can be picked up without much fuss, if any. Ecoterrorism: |
Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has revealed that world leaders have a favourable impression of President Muhammadu Buhari. President Buhari led Nigeria’s delegation to the 70th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, where he met the U.N Secretary-General, Mr. Ban Ki-moon; President Barack Obama of U.S, Former British Prime Minister Gordon Brown, Angela Merkel, Chancellor of Germany; President Xi Jinping of China, ex-President Bill Clinton among others. Obasanjo, who had just returned to the country from New York, where he also attended some sessions of the UNGA as a speaker, made this known while speaking to journalists in Abeokuta, Ogun State. He said, “I heard some of the comments of those he (Buhari) met, the comment that probably would not come back to him. He met former US President Bill Clinton for almost one hour and President Clinton, when I joined him for his global initiative, talked to me about his impression of our President, it was favourable”. “Gordon Brown and I met him and we talked about issues. The few other leaders who met him gave me their impression and his debut so to say. It has been good”, Obasanjo, who is not known to be charitable with words, added. http://www.informationng.com/?p=322777

The Nigerian Army, just like other members of the Armed Forces and security agencies, are paid to protect the civilian populace, not brutalize them. While there is in the majority, professionals and highly disciplined members of the NA, the actions of a few rotten eggs have tainted and continued to taint the image of the army. My friend, who wasn't feeling well, had taken a commercial bike around 11.20AM on Monday to first lodge a complaint at Union Bank from where he was going to head to OAU Ile-Ife to run a medical test. On their way, around Lagere junction opposite Stanbic IBTC, they were assaulted by a soldier. Initially, it seemed the bike rider had committed an unknown offence and was the target of the soldier's fury but as he (the soldier) took out his whip to flog the rider, it landed on my friend's neck. An attempt to inquire from the soldier what happened seemed to infuriate him the more as he mercilessly flogged my friend in question. The unidentified soldier didn't have a name tag on his uniform but was attached to a red-colored van with the call number '007' written on it. When will our soldiers and other security agents learn to stop brutalizing civilians at the slightest or no provocation? See photos of the marks left on my friend's body after the soldier was through flogging him.

Okay. He made mistakes which weren't deliberate and was never exposed until today's events. The flip side is the lapses have been noted and the human error on the intensity of the rain will never repeat itself. However, you're wrong on his not seeking the services of a carpenter coz he did and while it might not look exactly the same as the one whose image you posted, it is the same house and technique he has been using all these years with outstanding results. But lessons have been learnt. As for the caning, the "village virgins" have decided to be merciful! KAYD007: |
The poultry isn't far; infact, it is behind our house. The intensity of the rainfall was what we underestimated+some anti-flooding measures he took, that obviously didn't work. Lessons learnt! baba11: |
No. But someone else could learn not to repeat some mistakes he made, which by the way, we noticed once the deed had been done. For instance, the entrance to where the chicks were being brooded could've been made higher above ground level. Secondly, never say "it can't happen to me" coz this is the first time he's experiencing this after over 5-years in the business. cutekhalifa: |
Already did. Thanks. deavicky: |
Exactly. That's the same message of hope we gave him. Quite painful but it could've been worse if this happened when they are and after all the man-power and money sunk in. dokiOloye: |
My younger brother has been keeping birds (broiler) for commercial purposes for over 5 years now and this is the first time he would suffer this sort of calamity in the business. In anticipation of the forthcoming Sallah, he'd collected 150 birds on Thursday, August 6 but little did he know that exactly two days later, he'll be counting his loss as all the birds, which were in brooding, died as a result of flooding occasioned by what didn't seem like a heavy rainfall at first, until the damage was assessed. The pictures below tell the sad story of how 150 two-day old chicks drowned while we're inside the house without knowing their own had been flooded. ![]()

In addition to what musiwax pointed out earlier, the analysis by Decryptor is mis-truth, don't want to say false. First of, the news was all over the net on Wednesday check http://dailytrust.com.ng/daily/index.php/news-menu/news/59390-ndlea-intercepts-2-2m-cash-from-passenger-at-lagos-airport and http://thenationonlineng.net/new/ndlea-intercepts-2-1m-at-lagos-airport/. Having pointed that out, NDLEA is allowed to intercept huge sums of cash of this nature as it could be proceeds from illicit drug trade. This much was confirmed by the NDLEA spokesperson, Mitchel Ofoyeju, who said "Investigation conducted by the Agency did not link the money to proceeds of narcotics. However, a country having insurgency challenge cannot afford to ignore suspicious movement of such large amount of money". As per the counting machine, if they counted the sum manually, we would still accuse them of being 'backward' & not 'sophisticated'; they used a machine to save time & it's a problem because an anti-narcotics agency has nothing doing with counting machine? FYI, the machine could've been borrowed from any of the airlines or business offices that operate within the airport. As per the 'NK' in the background, why're you so sure its full meaning is 'BANK'? It could be 'INTERBANK', 'PRANK', 'RANK' or any other word/phrase. As per the man's demeanour, whose name is John Bamidele Ibiteye by the way, if you've nothing to fear & not guilty of what you're being accused, why should you be ruffled? Or perhaps even, he is a 'hardened' criminal, wouldn't that explain his calm expression? There're a million & one reasons why the man could've been calm, don't narrow it down to one. Finally, what gives you the confidence to conclude that "The story is absolutely false and should be disregarded!" SR could spew thrash at times & that's not subject to debate but to rush them to the gallows on this one, you, sir, are the one who's "false" and should be totally "disregarded". |
SaintChukz:I should think it's real. 71RRI passed out some few weeks ago and even before then, the 72RRI were already at the NA Depot Zaria, undergoing training. It's a continuous cycle (the recruitment) I think. |
kestolove95:Minna be prepared to receive the Peoples general and his campaign team tomorrow, Sunday. Kaduna too. |
maclatunji:He's the PDP candidate for Niger East Senatorial District |
Jenams:I don't think you should be apprehensive Jenams. Minna is not known for religious violence besides, the people are hospitable but if you insist, look for a place in Tunga, around the Shiroro Hotel area, might just be where you need. And no, I don't live in Minna, just been there before. Meanwhile, you should also consider proximity to your place of work. All the best sir. |
Funny enough, I watched a TVC by Chivita purportedly showing Manchester United's Wayne Rooney Drinking the company's product similar to the one I found the strange products inside. tchidi: |
I did immediately I noticed Chivita's customer reps were wasting my time. I've also sent them an email with photos and video of the Chivita pack. otunbakolawole: |
nenergy:Couldn't agree less. I'd some bowls of fruit salad at a friend's earlier today & it was just 10/10. ![]() |
Here's what I found in a freshly opened pack of Chivita Active fruit juice today, Thursday, Nov. 27, 2014 in Zaria, Kaduna State. Can't describe what it is but I couldn't drink the juice anymore. A call to the fruit juice manufacturer's customer care was not treated with importance as the receiver kept me on hold several times under the guise of transfering my call to a supervisor or someone who would attend to my query. I should state that the fruit juice has an expiry date 5/5/2015 with MFG date 6/8/14. I think we should all be careful with the things we consume and how we consume them. I was lucky to have poured some of the contents of the fruit pack into a cup otherwise, who knows, I could've unknowingly swallowed these things and probably been affected/infected by it.

webdezzi: MTN has the number 1 spot.To simply check account balance once, dial #124*1# and the reason in my opinion why glo displaced airtel from second spot might not be unconnected with its #1000 for 3gb BlackBerry plan. |
