My question is that, should this popular saying be applicable to relationship?

If you have someone you truly love dearly and trust, but because of some uncertainties, you feel you might not end up together with this person OR you feel anything can happen anytime and so to save yourself the stress of finding another partner, you should not rely completely on your first option, as age is no more on your side

As we all know, claiming to love someone and still having other options is cheating, coz I believe it should be "one Man one woman"

If it was you, in your relationship, would you put all your eggs in one basket or create other options?
