Northern Nigeria is reaping what it sowed and theres still more coming their way Buhari and his allies are sympathetic toward boko haram. By the time reality hits them...there will be nothing left up north.. northern Nigeria will stand in same league as Republic of Chad, Niger and Mali It's only a matter of time... . |

The reason for the killings... ![]() Imagine someone you empowered legally collecting everything you worked 30years of your life...including your kids. Everything!!! Those that remained married until the murder only tried to salvage what is left because they know they will loose everything if they opt for divorce. Frustrated that his formerly malleable wife had suddenly become such a “terror” to him to the point of asking for in court and getting virtually everything for which he had worked since coming to the US thirty years prior, the husband got in his vehicle and drove a few hundred miles to Dallas to settle the scores. He found her in her SUV, adorned in full Nigerian attire on her way to the birthday bash organized in her honor. . Each time the couple argued, the police forced the husband to leave the house whether he had a place to sleep or not. On many occasions, Mr. Nwodo spent days in police cells. Upon divorcing his wife, Mr. Nwodo lost to his wife the house he had owned for almost 20 years before he married her. He also lost custody of their three children to her, with the court awarding him only periodic visitation rights. |

I fear for the future of many Nigerian youths... many will clock 50years of age without any substantial savings or investment to sustain them in the later years of their lives... Our parents had govt jobs (federal/state/local) to live on till the retirement age of 60years and thereafter got gratuities and pensions to survive on... some joined the private sectors, built a career for themselves and became corporate heads...Sadly these options are not available to the average present day youth as govt jobs are being reserved exclusively for those in the political class. Our school curriculum hasn't change either from what was taught during the days of our parents... our lecturers are still the same non innovative minded people, nothing is being done to promote innovation and inventions. And for a few with some innovative ideas, Nigerian banks are not helping situations either. GTB loan for example is only open to their current account holders with regular income, they dont care about your age long savings history with them yet they advertise the loans like it's open to all...Access Bank have theirs too and so does every other Nigerian bank. It appears they prefer to be fined by the CBN under the new CBN directive than to give out loans to SME's or intending SME's...Their jobs on the other hand offers no job security as they prefer to employ majority of their staffs on contracts basis for naira equivalent of a paltry $200 per month. Other firms won't offer more than $150 and Our govt have turned blind eyes while a time bomb ticks... In 15years oil and gas will begin to phase out because the world is going green. I wonder what will become of an economy that depends heavily on income from oil and gas, our banks that pride themselves amongst the biggest in Africa, I wonder what will become of the Nigerian people. The year 2000 seems like yesterday. We are running out of time |
Tranquillity360:If you have nothing meaningful to add, just keep off....find somewhere else to display your uselessness... . |
