Mummies pls how safe it is for an 8weeks old baby boy to sleep on his chest??

Its not as if am complaining but,u know how it is beeing a first timer.....

There is no thought that babies are indeed bundle of joy, but sometime we mothers/fathers face so many challenges raising our kids, so i want us to use this avenue to discuss any issue concerning them(our kids) here!!!!!! For example, my 8weeks old boy sleeps only 6 hours @ night but seems to enjoy more time sleeping during the day, but i must confess am not too happy about it at all, but what every1 is saying its normal.......... Nairalanders Is this normal?

@recruitment, never mind. any process it take just put all ur hope in the lord Almighty, and am trusting him for you, he will surelly deliever you safely............., My wife was also induce in her 36weeks but labour doesnt exceed 2cm until the doc order that labour should be stop and to God be the glory, my wife still scale tru to 37weeks before she finaly birth to my fine boy. So believe in God bcuz ur miracle is on the way!!!!!!

Morning mums, hnnnnmmmm, my big boy finnaly arrive ph yesterday after 41days in lagos, though i love evrything now but wat i cant really say i want is, its just a day now and I can only remember i slept for just 3hours which i will call a mixed feelings. Anyways the most important thing is, my boy is just fine, but can any1 explain this?(he makes this sound as if a new toyota camry's ignition is about starting anytime he stretches his body and he does that often.) 2, Any1 knows the closest phc center close to mile3 here in ph. But as u all knw the big boy comes a bit early and the doctor has confirmed him to be OK he only advice that he shouldnt be bath yet till his due date which is next month and he has been taken home yesterday, he has since then be fine and sucking well only for my wife to call me this afternoon and told me he has a bit temperature but every other things are just normal so i dont know if anybody has an idea of why he has temp and wat can be done to normalise it.. Thought the doc ask them to come tomorow for check up. The boy came exactly 34weeks........ Singing::.::...: Come and joy me sing halleluyah ooooo, Jehovah jaire has done me well::......... The ever faithful God has finnally done it, My wife delivered a bouncing baby boy yesternight and according to the news reaching me dis morning, both the mother and the baby are doing just FINE, the labour lasted for about 30minites after waterbreaking......., .I AM THE HAPPIEST MAN ON EARTH TODAY.........

Ok mums, but i still have 1 more question, is it possible for her carry my big boy for at least another 4 weeks? With her cervix already slightly open? And her clinic never mention anything like BEDREST. But i dont like it when my wife complain of anything most expecially pain in her back&lower abdomen....... U knw how it is as a first timer

Thanks @ efe, why am askin all this question is becuz her she was told her cervix has slightly open last weeks meanwhile, she she isnt sure of how many weeks she is, and she was ask to go for another scan on 9th of this month and the result shows 33weeks +4days, now am praying she stays another 2weeks b4 my big boy finnally arrive.... But they keeps telling her in her clinic that "no problem".. Am scared

@efe, sorry for bothering u, but does this mean that the scan result can be relied on? Because i have heard many times that scan dates are just mere quessing

Pls mummys in the house, help me on this issue; can some1 knows how many weeks she is pregnant with scan result? Or how best can i know? Pls i need answer asap.... May God bless u all

@Blank, thanks for ur concern, bit she has already travelled since february as for the injection i do not knw if she is been given anything of such, but she has clinic tomorrow i will inform her to ask the doctor about it....... Thanks

@Agi Am not sure anything like water breaking did happen bcuz she didnt notice any other thing aside frm that little bleeding or can the water break without any1 noticeing? and yes the hospital do have all it takes to handle any issue,....... @Olamide she said the nurse told her it between 2-3 cm but she is resting very very well in fact i ask her to go to Lagos so she could have all the rest she desire bcus i knw myself to be very restless when its come to bedtime........ pls any1 that delivered here in ph should notify us oooo so we can come for the child dedication bcuz the rice dey sweet wella......lol

@all, My wife based in lagos and am in ph, the nurse told her her cervix is already open in her 33weeks and thats why she has a little bleeding last week but my baby has refuse to come out,she then told her to go for another scan, and just yesterday, the scan shows that the baby is just perfectly ok, but am still scared bcuz i thought after the opening of the cervix that the baby will come immediatly,,, her(my wife's) name is Oluwatosin,according to the three scan she has had, she is due to give birth on either,7,14&25th of may +/-2weeks...

I must confess, i love this tread i pray may the good Lord bless the mover of this tread......me and my wife are expecting our first child but to my suprise, she called me last week that she saw blood in her vagina and the nurse says that the baby is coming, and she gave her everything to make her deliever but the baby refuses to come meanwhile she is just in her 32nd weeks. But at the end of the day the doctor later refferd her to were she registerd for anti-natal were the midwife later told her its not yet time but the baby is already in her lower abdomen, and since then evrything seems to be fine she only complain of pain in her lowerabdomen. Am scared ooo pls i need advise.......hope everything is fine?
