I share ur pains OP.

That "pay as you go" would have been the best....even on DSTV....we pay for every second, but we don't get it even for 24hrs sometimes...I experienced same yesterday!

We know our rights, but negligence has been our problem.

Christianity Etc › Re: ''Bishop'' Oyedepo Investigated 4 Fraud In D UK, as Cameroon Govt Closes Church by ayobase(m): 9:56am On Aug 17, 2013
Its pathetic that some wouldn't even read before posting...the topic only spurred many into action.

Go read the message before commenting.

Money was given to help the needies also. Full time ministers need to be paid. Salary and allowance.....even rent will be paid for....what about management?

Do you think the money each student pays in Covenant University is enough to take care of affairs of the school?

The bigger an organization, the bigger the spending.

The world is turning against Christ already. The anti-christs in action. What is the problem of the government on how the church spends her money. Were the worshippers complaining.

The have been giving freely, nobody forces ano contribute.....and its not a case of "don't come to my church if you can't give"

I see no reason why government should intrude into the affairs of the church once they fulfill the terms and conditions of the government under which they operate.

Our educational sector is in shamble today cos the same government hijacked the schools from the Christians and Muslims.

Let them investigate and never fail to give us the feedback.

Churches are now being investigated as Companies....its nice though!

And Oyedepo is a very rich consultant in his field.
Family › Re: Twenty Things That Parents Should Teach Their Child: by ayobase(m): 9:27am On Aug 17, 2013
teach them of the old path, this civilization is eating deep into them.

Teach them how to be respectful. Kneeling down and prostrating to greet elders.

doing house chores without machines (washing, vacuum cleaner, dish washer, and the likes)

Teenagers of today are far more than terrible....its pathetic how we have allowed things to degenerate over the years via pampering due to civilization!

a teenager slappinh his/her teacher both at academic and religious ground!

a teenager warning her parents to stop embarrassing him/her in front of her friends!

k2039: That's because all of them are failures.

Just that a score of 30 is better than 20. In a class if the highest mark is 30/100, the guy with the highest score is the best, but it doesn't change the fact that they were all failures.
Tell me of his failures, and I will tell you of his benefits to you.

No one is perfect still.

Atleast, he remains ur best president ever.

They know this. They must be kidding me if Peter!
Christianity Etc › Re: 8 Catholic Teachings From The Bible That Separates It From Pentecostals by ayobase(m): 8:41am On Aug 17, 2013
Unless u wanna explain further, I don't see these doctrines as explained here being different from the Pentecostal's.

U wanna throw more light on how they are being done differently?
Christianity Etc › Re: CHRISLAM !!!!!: One World Religion Emerging. by ayobase(m): 8:37am On Aug 17, 2013
These people know that Jesus Christ is the only way to heaven....there is no other way(s)

Why won't they build the bridge!

Even Mohammed told them to believe in Prophet Isa and everything he said.

And Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth and the life, no one can see the father except through me"

So, anyone not believeing these words of Jesus Christ is not obeying the words of Mohammed!

If every Muslim believes in Him, then I still don't know the reasons why they argue some cases like Trinity....Jesus Christ was clear about it.

Well, if there is going to be any Chrislam, then its solely for the benefit of the Muslims!
Christianity Etc › Re: Winners Chapel, Others Shut Down Incameroon Over Fake Miracles! by ayobase(m): 8:25am On Aug 17, 2013
I have always heard about fake miracles, but none was mentioned here...all I read here were flimsy reasons from gullible christian citizens in search of miracles.

It is not the Church, but the people!

In as much as we have DIRTY churches around, closing down is not the best solution still.

Christianity Etc › Re: What Does The Voice Of God Sound Like? by ayobase(m): 8:15am On Aug 17, 2013
Ajibam: @op.....if You stand outside a house and 200 fathers are in the house shouting your name,,wouldn't yourecognise your dad's voicehuh You will!!!

So,if God is truly Your father you will hear his voice plainly....christianity nowadays is about doctrines and dogmas,,and das not It...all u knw is my pastor Says!!there is no personal encounter with your God...
christianity should be ur relationship with God...how wud u want to listen to God without ur quiet time,,family altar, alms giving, bible reading,fasting..e.t.c which. Improves our relationship with God...then we would be his own(cherem)
Run from doctrines, imbibe d act of worship in truth and in spirit,,,cos many of us ARE SERVING GOD WITHOUT HIS WILL...YOU KNOW GOD BUT DOES HE KNWS U?....if he is ur fada u will hear him...but if u ar not!!u ar just a churchgoer,,,

Christianity Etc › Re: Human Evolution And Religion: Some Facts Needs To Be Checked. by ayobase(m): 7:44am On Aug 17, 2013
adeaugustus: ^^^
Changes? What brought about those changes? Where are the things that used to exist before those changes? What happened to them? Don't you think that the same changes is happening to us? Do you agree that we co'existed with other humanoid in the early ages? What happened to them? Will they be judges too? Do you agree that the earth is older than the records in the spiritual books?

Sorry if the question seems aggressive, but they need to be answered by someone, anybody with vast knowledge of religion.
That some peculiar things happened at one point in time doesn't call for evolution cry.

There is no way we can trash this out if we don't have a common belief.

Do you believe in God?

The things that used to exist before the "supposed" changes are still fully existing....humans are from monkeys. Are monkeys not still existing?

Humanoids?
Hmmmm, u simply believe in some "aroko"

The Bible wasn't specific about the date or year the earth was created. It reads ".......in the beginning....." Who knows the beginning, the Scientist?

Politics › Re: Security Jitters Over Emergence Of Another Islamic Sect In Northern Nigeria. by ayobase(m): 7:18am On Aug 17, 2013
I can put on with Fake Christain doctrines, but Islam's is a big NO-NO. The misinterpreted ones causing havocs here and there are yet to be curbed, let alone of addition.

Kill them all...and how did they manage to penetrate the border?
