ojubi: Pastor Adeboye under fire over multi-billion naira 3km auditorium
Ben Ezeamalu - 3 hours agoNATIONAL, NEWS
During last week’s convention, Mr. Adeniran said that a member of his staff lost his 65 year old mother to a stampede that ensued during a worship session.
“Adeboye is fond of discussing miracles in his church, he never discusses misfortunes.
“It is a lopsided ministry, a ministry that cajoles people to bring what they have to the church,” Mr. Adeniran added.
Nobody forces anybody Mr. Man!
Do u know what the word, 'Cajole' means in this context?

Did the man promise anything in return.

Misfortunes?
Don't u hear warning several times from men of God.

God doesn't bring misfortunes on His children, we do!
Christianity Etc › Re: Pastor Adeboye Under-fire For 3km Auditorium by ayobase(m): 11:23am On Aug 13, 2013
Under fire for what?
I don't get it.

That someone without a criminal record can't pay such amount of money indicates how shallow ur mind is financially...SMH....in this country where we have silent billionaire?

One thing people of shallow minds still fail to know or understand is that it takes nothing to become billionaire if you know the secret.....GIVING, and most especially to the works of God.

I don't see this as any scam. Bab Adeboye started from 1 billion naira and stopped at 100 naira. Just do according to ur power or u simply put God to test.

From what I read so, I didn't see anywhere he was trying to cajole people into paying. He just said it as it is!

Nothing like "give and it shall be given unto u. God will bless u in folds" and the likes to hoodwink as some of NLers will say!

Obe to dun, owo lo pa of course!

Dey there make pant dey wear u while others are giving financial breakthroughs testimony!

[quote author=Okija_juju][b]I am not a fan of Islam, but I'm sure even Mohammed would not have approved of this.

Muslims... This is all your fault. You sat and kept quiet while the renegade ones amongst you ran riot and caused chaos to all other unbelievers. You felt safe in your mosques, acted ignorant and bowed your heads in oblivion while the extremist arm of your faith ran anork, bombing churches, killing Christians and causing chaos and pandamonium. But you forgot something, when a vicious dog is allowed to run around barking and biting strangers unabated, at some point, it wouldnt even be able to tell the difference between its master and strangers.

Welcome to the world of Christians.

Welcome to worshiping and praying with fear and trembling. Now we are all truly equal. The child you raised has gone from crazy to insane. Now whenever you grab your kettles and mats to go to the mosques on friday, you would know the same fear that Christians have been living with for all these years every sunday. Remember the Madala Christmas day bombing?! Well, this one came a few days after your own version of Christmas. I feel sorry for the dead, but then again I consider them martyrs. Martyrs that might lead to the revolution we all have been clamouring for.

Maybe now, Muslims would start condemning these acts openly. Maybe now, all those Hate-preaching Imams would be sought out and handed over to the army. Maybe now, those known terrorists that pray with you every Saturday would be exposed. Maybe now, the much needed internal cleansing of Islam would begin.

Stand up with one voice.
I'm not for the division of this nation at all. We all once lived in peace and harmony amongst each other. We once practiced all our religions side by side in peace and harmony. Even despite the war of 67, we still somehow co-existed without much acrymony. If this menace isnt stopped soonest, it would be our greatest undoing. We would destroy this nation and our future generations would be left with nothing.

The time for change is now..

GraphicsPlus: It's not true. Up to 98% doesn't know that Google is the fastest website. I think it opens in less than 5 seconds. The only people that know this is probably web developers.

Here is what is true. Most people in Nigeria and indeed in the world type in a confusing word everyday in google to make sure the spelling is correct.

As for me, I use Nairaland to gauge internet speed. Any time NL is delaying to load and open, I will know that something is wrong. The speed of NL is actually very impressive. And when I resolve my internet connection, NL will always be the first among all the websites on my browser tabs to open, even when I refresh it last.

Leave it or take it, in terms of prayer, the wife is always stronger!

It is GOOD for the husband to be more spiritual than the wife, and BETTER for the wife to be more fervent than the husband, and always the BEST for the two to be on the same frequency spiritually.

And totally deadly for the two to be off!

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Unemployment Hits Nigerian Pilots, 170 Jobless by ayobase(m):
dolphinife: Some of us are talking out of ignorance. For a pilot to cough out about 10million naira just to be a pilot, do you think its easy? Moreover, pilot is very different from degree, we are talking of practical aspect.

You hardly find an unemployed pilot in any country. If not that our airlines are opting for expratriates, all those 170 wou have got a job.

For your information, the more a pilot stays at home, the more he becomes a sky-risk to flight. Since the job is about practical, a pilot must always fly every now and then or else, be expecting an air crash soon.

Infact, no pilot suppose to stay a day at home.....they are different from your yeye certificate una dey carry all about
I knew that someone will come up soon to spew this rubbish!

What about Engineers, who made the airplanes, who are expected to be more efficient and disciplined?

Of all the disciplines, Engineering could be said to be the most disciplined.

A mistake of an Engineer would cost lives!

So, put a sock in it, 10million or not, what are the engineers also paying? 100Kobo?

Piloting, more of practical. So, Engineering or medicine is less of practical aight?

The more a pilot stays off job, the more he becomes sky-risk to flight. U gat to be kidding me with that!

So, I won't be able to drive a car again after 50 years of being off the road.

You talked about certificate, one being superior to the other...it shows how shallow ur educated status is!

An Engineer will always be blamed for the fault of others, even the Pilots!

If not for the condition of our Country, do u thing Engineers will be jobless as such!

Sebi its still 170 jobless pilots!

They can make them Co-pilots, and if there are already, then employ them as 'reserved' co-pilot!
