Christianity Etc › Re: Human Evolution And Religion: Some Facts Needs To Be Checked. by ayobase(m): 8:58am On Aug 14, 2013
My brother, nothing like human evolution, its just mere taking up challenges.

Was this world like this 10 years ago? Nope.

Change is constant, and that what we are all experiencing.

Nigeria alone is full of challenges, if u don't upgrade, sorry is gonna be ur name eventually.

"Disorders" have been happening from the beginning of the world. Many are still gonna happen. Many discoveries are gonna be made. It will take human beings to fulfill all.

Over the years, we have changed so many things scientifically and technologically!

Nothing like HUMAN EVOLUTION...I am not from one monkey, maybe you are, but I'm not!

Christianity Etc › Re: Pastor Adeboye Under-fire For 3km Auditorium by ayobase(m): 9:49pm On Aug 13, 2013
woodcook: Bros personally I really don't care what Adeboye or the critic says in as much as no one was forced with a gun in their head to make such donation ( but then I would not also discard the argument of psychological coercion ). While I chose to address your quote is based on enlightenment as per your statement "That someone without a criminal record can't pay such amount of money indicates how shallow ur mind is financially...SMH....in this country where we have silent billionaire?"

First the issue of having a criminal record should actually reads "shady dealing" in which case if you still tend to argue that based on your original write up, then I may be inclined to ask you what you do for a living. Knowing what you do for a living would give me an idea if you truly know what our so called "silent" billionaires do to make their money. On the surface it may all look genuine but then there are little things which you may not considered criminal act either based on limited knowledge on financial laws/regulations or due to sheer ignorance. My point is that the critic may not be far from the truth as bad as it may sound or as jealous as he may have sounded. If you think otherwise I would appreciate you list those "silent" billionaire who have genuine business and whose dealings you know very well. Other than that I would suggest you choose another point of argument because basically I work in the fin sector and I know a lot of what most account managers do for these so called billionaires in a bit to cover their shady deals. Bros believe me, you really don't want to know, some may sound trivial but then they break the law, make money out it and no one queries them. If we are to be a country where crimes are investigated and punished I am sure those so called "silent" billionaire wont be richer than any other average Nigerian.

But then I still believe that someone can still make genuine billions in Nigeria but I can bet you if they did they wont throw it away just like that, they sure would put it in a just course.
You have simply answered the question...and to ask you, what makes you think they are not...atleast that "someone"

See, there is no point debating cos ur mind is made up with ur belief!

frosbel: Fraud !!

"These people always cause trouble. Their minds are corrupt, and they have turned their backs on the truth. To them, a show of godliness is just a way to become wealthy." - 1 Timothy 6:5
Are u simply implying that Baba Adeboye is not a man of God.

U people think that Baba is not contributing to that building project aight?

SMH!

Or you think he became rich form church's purse?
Christianity Etc › Re: Pastor Adeboye Under-fire For 3km Auditorium by ayobase(m): 9:29pm On Aug 13, 2013
Is there one way this man Adeboye can raise some money for a modern Hospital within this same Redeemed Church? If YES. He should please do it rather than all these fund raising for auditorium expansion.
Redeem camp can not boast of a standard hospital. What they have is a clinic/first aid center that can not even take care of ten people at any point in time (as at 2012 January ooo).
Redeemed management/church should please do something about this......at least the poor among them can have a little hope and chance in life.
Enough of all these new auditorium Complex. The one they have now is okay and can server whatever purpose of praising God and healing minds.
What r u doin to implement the by-you proposed project?

Set the ball rolling and see people supporting!
Christianity Etc › Re: Pastor Adeboye Under-fire For 3km Auditorium by ayobase(m): 9:17pm On Aug 13, 2013
ekwah: Will you stop this ... huh What does a church need a multi-billion naira auditorium for? Did Jesus christ ask people to donate money for such things during his time? Our bodies and minds are supposed to be the church and not some ridiculously expensive structure that seeks to drain people of their hard earned cash.

I would be happy if these donations were being made to build cheap schools or provide scholarships to the poorest of the poor in that church, or to provide some funds to poor members for businesses. You really don't need such expensive structures to serve God and whether the donations are voluntary or not is inconsequential.

SMH at our people's mentality man. Christianity really isn't about these things ya know. undecided
Somepeople in need are also not happy with you.

The phone you are using now,is it not too expensive. You should have used the cash to help a needy.

Is your fashion taste not too high for not considering some people in need.

Why can't u go ahead and withdraw from ur fat account to help some poor people or ur lacking neighbours?

Years back, some things were not appealing to u cos u never needed them, just as BB wasn't to me until last year. It became necessary.

So is other people, somethings become important to them despite not being needed by people like u.

Life na stage by stage.....everybody is upgrading.....do u go buy golf (1994) after u might have used toyota camry!

My brother cool down about helping these poor people, everybody is doing the best he/she can do...every individual, every church, every mosque.....helping people doesn't mean that u shouldnt cater for ur needs na!

Let's not be sentimental over this matter....na small thing!

And to remind you, don't forget the Temple Solomon built...VERY VERY EXPENSIVE! You know na!
