Politics / Re: Igbo Group Swears To Punish Jonathan In 2015 by ayodot(m): 1:15pm On Apr 28, 2013
mikeansy: what some people do not realise is that rigging is like coup-de-tat, you need a level of public support to succeed.

Jonathan did well in 2011 because of strong support from the whole South. If Jonathan looses South West in 2015 he will definitely loose because he has no leg in NW and NE for obvious reasons.

The battleground will be Middle belt . . . with a half hearted or lesser support from Igbos in 2015 compared to 2011 Jonathan is headed for defeat.

If APC select their candidate wisely and lets say Fashola emerge. Fashola is a Yoruba Muslim and will have both ethno-religious advantage and a moral advantage because of his Governance records in Lagos.

before the 2011 election, some of us predicted the outcome of the electoral map as it happened.

The only way Jonathan wins in 2015 is if APC defeat themselves in their own primary and field a Buhari or that sort of figure.

Fashola/VP candidate from Benue, Plateau, Taraba or Adamawa who is a Christain will defeat Jonathan in a landslide.

This is politics 101!!!!!!!!!!!!

u are very on point. that's what some fail to realize. u can only experience full scale rigging if the candidate involved enjoys public support. I experience this first hand in the last Edo's state governorship election. PDP boys/thugs after collecting money for rigging solicitation, still went ahead in support of oshiomole reelection.
(I was serving then and I know what's up)

I don't understand how people think at times.
someone said the governor is behind is travail because he didn't pay is legal fee, then some dunce concluded, that truely the governor must be using EFCC against him. I don't even know the adjective to describe the brains behind such tot.

Isn't it obvious he trying to blackmail the governor for assistance. PROBABLY, to us the state resources to frustrate is conviction in trials. what as the governor got to do with the state assembly's fund.

I'm not saying Fashola is a saint, but a one eye man is a king to the blind

If u get error, u can roll back to stock.
This means you have the testing capabilty to flash other recoveries to ya n3
Its odd yeah but u can roll back to stock if the cwm didn't load up

Berryman: The bat file is nw available there. He provided 4shared links. Check d comments. Couple of questions: one, hw did u use d AI0 tool in flashing? Two, did u use d stock recovery.img he (ogatimon) provided or u used brainrex's dumpd rom to restore to normal? And, hw did u use them/restore d phone? Pls reply.

1. For recovery flashing, reboot into fastboot. fastboot is one of the options in the AIO flasher reboot dropdown tab. u can also access fastboot manually by holding vol-down and powering up the phone. it will just show the tecno screen nothing more.
make sure ur USB is connected ( u should have gotten the appropriate driver)
in the aio, tick the recovery, go down then click select img. choose the recovery img u need to flash. click flash. 5sec u are done.
2. I already dumped my own rom way back

HOLLASLYD: There are several ways of pushing recovery into android devices. Each device with its own unique way out of millions
Tecno n3 behaves like samsung, lg, zte and mid tablets
It doesnt have a seperate bios for entering fastboot.
Samsung recoveries are either flashed in by update.zip, odin or through rom manager
Lg recoveries are pushed into the device through adb in fastboot mode or rom manager
Htc recoveries are pushed into the device through adb in fastboot mode and rom manager and I've never flashed an inspire 4g recovery into inspire 4g rather I figured since it was very much alike with desire hd, I should flash desire hd recovery and it worked perfectly.
Zte recoveries are been pushed in through recovery manager after rooting. This is what am thinking will work perfectly on tecno n3
Likewise mid tablets they use some sort of recovery manager to flash clockworkmod recovery.
Since zte and mid tablet and the rest of them, tecno included has some sort of chinese thing going on, I think this same process should work on tecno n3
Finally, there is a simple step but 90% risky of loosing the phone entirely, samsung excluded, its going into the system bin and replacing the recovery with a custom recovery. If it doesnt match, your device won't boot. For samsungs, odin is always there to resurrect the device.

On second thought, the n3 recovery looks very much alike with samsung qvga and hvga devices.
That's something to look into

only used n3 for 1 week, I would have gotten clockworkmod into it by now or not
When I owned this phone, I got it to be recognised in adb devices, with that, all things are possible

Thanks for the reply, like I said, I was able to restore the original stock recovery using the AIO flasher, which also an adb flasher.
I think the problem is having a workable CWM image for the n3. That's why u ask whether Anybody as been able to flash a working CWM
Phones / Re: Tecno N3 Discussion Thread by ayodot(m): 12:30pm On Apr 17, 2013
hello all gurus in the thread. I installed the CWM Recovery from this blog
( http://tecnoandroids./2013/03/09/clockwork-mod-recovery-for-tecno-n3/ ), it didn't work. The blog link was posted on the thread, so I decided to try it out.
The I couldn't download the BAT file from the link provided on the blog so I used the AIO Flasher provide by brainrex courtesy fonehacker from xda.
The flashing the file and then booting into recovery, nothing happened except for some screen flashes and after awhile the screen turned blue.
I was able to restore the original recovery though.

Now my question is As Any One Been Able to Install CWM Recovery on N3.
Brainrex, hollaslyd and others Pls I await ur response

jimcaddy: you don't judge people based on mere looks. D mere fact that he had beard didn't make him a bad boy.. How could his friend have identified himself when he wasn't without his I.D card. And he explained that it was in his room. If those lecturers were sensible enough, they wuld have given him the benefit of the doubt to have gone and picked up his I.D card and show it to them.. It was a very simple matter, but they made it complicated. At least its not as if the boy was going to disappear into thin air after he had been allowed entry to pick up the I.D card. He was still always goin to come out to attend to his friend. So why the unecessary show of power? We like doing this in this country. Any little power we have, we use it to exploit the vulnerable

That's is our we have it in Nigeria, bro. Any little power or position naija man as, is to oppress @ very opportunity no matter how insignificant.

even if he was held down by the security, why must the lecturer, slap him.

@ OP, sorry. I was once in ur shoes. this is not about covenant university, it about Nigerian mentality-' I'm an elephant and I must trample on everything below ne'er

Here is my story. It happened in 2009 in LASU ojo campus. I'm actually a student of the said school but studied in epe campus as a engineering student.
I was having problems in my final year result so I had to go to ojo campus. after doing what I had came for, I decided to say hi to my lecturer aunt.
On getting to her office, I knocked but no answer and I didn't want to greet or ask after her from the other female lecturer that was beside her office. The door to the other female lecturer was slightly open, I could see she had a male visitor and they were conversing. ( I actually know but can't remember the reason I don't like her)

I knock again, still no response. so I decided to take a quick peep into a hole I notice in the door. I realized there room was empty.

Just as I was about to take my leave, the man visiting the other female lecturer said hey u. but since I wasn't the only one there I went on my way ( and it wasn't as if I've gotten a solution to my problem).

As I was walking on, I was surprised to see the man in the other woman's office running after me. the next thing, he beckoned on a campus marshal ( a campus security with a pump action, whether load or not, only an idiot will want to confirm) to shoot me because I'm a cult member. Before I could say "cult ke" , he had started raining yokozuna thousand slaps on me.
Before I could count the no stars, he wanted to give me smackdown, But that one I no come gree.
So I was like what's my offense to deserve the kind of treatment and embarrassment, even after showing my id ( he was still trying to pin me down during this noisy dialogue and slaps to icing it).

Guess my offense, I peeped and didn't respond to is call. The security was even the one that asked he leave me.
that is still the most humiliating day of my life. I have never told any one until now.

brownlolly: At the event, Mrs. Jonathan claimed to have undergone several surgeries during her medical sojourn in Germany. The extended medical visit, which was first reported by Saharareporters, cost Nigeria close to 5 million Euros in medical expenses. Mrs. Jonathan’s aides had initially passed off her medical trip as a vacation. On her return from Germany, Mrs. Jonathan had also denied ever going for medical treatment.

Saharareporters contacted several presidential aides seeking information about Mrs. Jonathan’s whereabouts, but they failed to return our reporters’ phone calls and text messages.

Police with issues of killing innocent Nigerians as getting out of hand. They now kill who ever they deem fit to kill. Even kill does they have personal quarrel with, even without any motive to cause am.
This is our new Nigeria, where uniform men maim, detain and kill innocent/unarmed citizenss. Arrest and killing of peaceful protesters is now a milestone in the sight of the a Nigerian uniform man.
Hope we haven't forgotten student that were kill for protesting their lake of water and other necessary amenities. Recently is the news of arrests, involving graduate participating in a peaceful protest.

Uniform men now have more regards for corrupt officer, militants, BH and now pipe line vandals. ho ho ho my God where else can we run to?
This will certain continue unless we demand for accountability, from our leaders for every thing place in the hands; our money and lives - which they now take at will.

May God protect u and me from the evil of the Nigerian Uniform Men

nbright: @bolded... How do you know the fault is/was only from him?, nobody is perfect, even Jesus Christ got angry when He was hungry and "cursed" the fig tree to wither because it didn't bear fruits in it's season... To every action there must be a catalyst. There must have been something that made him act like that/ in that way.... I find it hard to believe that someone will start maltreating a girl that toiled with him when he was a nobody... Guys appreciate those type of girls.. She MIGHT have done something to warrant that treatment from him... We have this thing with "ego"... We hate to have it bruised by the female and when bruised by them, we (I) find it hard to forget... & if someone don't forget something he can't forgive you totally..

u do have a point. Most ladies know how to tell the juicy part of the story. I have not been in any relationship for sometime now. My mind and focus is in securing a job or having a stable income. So a friend advised that, I should get a girl now when I'm nobody than when I'm somebody. Only then, can u know if the lady truely loves u and believe in ur dreams/aspirations. this I also concur with.
Don't get me wrong, Some guys will still mess around when the money come. This brings to this proverb, " inko to ba le gba lolowo talika lati Ko" meaning " what you will not accept as a rich man better reject wen u are nothing". The are some standard (the once the ladies in question) a lady imbibe into hers man when he's nothing (those she wishes to see ), cause if u don't, never expect to see in him as rich man. but mind u, learnt to do this without bruising is Ego.
