The atheist/agnostics loses nothing both ways, IMO. Most atheists hold themselves responsible for their actions and seek to enjoy the experience of this one life.

1. dead man cannot cry.have you seen expression of happiness or sorrow in the face of dead man?

2. the judgement belongs to God. You can see someone as genuine christian but only God can tell if that person is really christian or not because only God knows the heart of a man,only him knows all the hidden secreat.

So, if you understand these i will say, to some people death is good and to some ,death is bad. You cannot enter into paradise when you are still alive but that does not say you sould terminate your life to gain this likewise you cannot go to hell when you still alive as you cannot forever countinue to run away from death.

If God is showing us the place of our loved ones after death and we saw him in paradise is not bad if we celebrate that person for weeks or months because to make heaven is the reason we are living but if our loved one is in hell, it is not bad if we mourn for that person because his coming to earth is meaningless. therefore, for someone who made it to paradise, death is good and for someone who made it to hell death is bad for dragged him to where he hates.

But, we don't mourn because our loved one is in hell since we could not see his position after death but because we missed him. Wife will weep for she is going to miss her darling husband,mourn for being a widow,two persons responbilities become one person responbilities. she will mourn for her children will lack father's love and care.etc. can you see now that we mourn for ourself not for dead.

For the benefit of those who who does not understand the analogy in the above story,let me explaind the ideas behind the story. Infact the story is written to correct the sentiments of the atheist.the story have to do with atheists and christians alone. Do you know why he leaves them? Why can you meet him and demand for this answer since his the only one that can provide genuine answer to this. You can't fight someone you have not seen because what you though, may be different to what happened.

2. You said he should provide the proof of ownership of the house but there wasn't a dispute over the house.no body claimed the ownership of the house except him and if there is dispute do they themself provide the proof of ownership ?

There was a man who was very rich, he built a magnificent manson and had twins son named Atee and Chris. When his sons were still baby, he left them in care of their mother and went away. But he used to send them letters and gifts.In the letters, he always tells them the kind of attitudes he wants for his sons. when these children was eighteen years old their mother died .It left for them to decide how to live their lives.They continued struggling without parent and they survived.They built their own houses and had companies, in fact they lack nothing.

One day,early in the morning a young man came to knock on their door.When they opened the door they found the stranger standing by the door.They asked him to come in and sit dawn.They asked the young man how they can help him and the man says

"it was your father that sent me to you. Your father said a great disaster is coming on this town, a day of destruction and he wants both of you and your love ones to be ready to flee this town before that day to another town. Your father had built another magnificent manson that is more beautiful than this for you to stay when you come.The young man then handed to them the map lead to that town for them to study.Before he left, he added

" i am a traveller after today you may not see me again but i will surely come back before that disaster to take you to that town just prepare. make sure you do what was in the letters he had sent to you and study the map that i gave to you because your father may disown you if you don't live to his expectation."

the young man had stood up to take his leave when they asked him

" Did you say you saw our father?"

They were so astonised to the young man words. It was Atee that first found his words. He says.

After Atee had finished his worlds.Chris says " I hope you say these out of annoyance. Truely we have never set eyes on our father sin birth but one thing that was cleared was that, we did not make ourself and we did not build this magnificient manson we are living in and nobody have ever come to claimed the ownership of this manson. Our mother also told us we have father unless you don't believe her. For me i will listen to what the young man says and i will be in preparation for his second coming. I had heard this before.I watched it on a cd tittled "Aditu Olorun funfun" you too can ask for the cd if you reside in Lagos ,in that cd you will see Queen of Sheba tomb and the fence of her palace in ethopia. It was usual for the ancients to attribute any phenomena to myths and legends, such as attributing the sun eclipse to the death of an important king, or that it is a sign for losing a battle or for removing the king's property.



Among the funny things that ancient people used to believe is that the sun eclipsed due to a dragon that swallowed it. So they used to beat on the drums and threw arrows toward the sky to scare away that dragon, then they said that the dragon was frightened so he threw the sun back and run away! Other people believed that when the sun eclipsed, then an important event is about to happen due to attributing the sun with gods. While we judge these thoughts as mere myth, people during that time thought they were strong facts.

When people came to the prophet Mohamed "peace be upon him" and said that the sun had eclipsed for the death of Ibrahim, what did he tell them? Did he agree with them or did he correct their beliefs? He "peace be upon him" said: "The sun and the moon are among Allah's (SWT) signs that don't eclipse for the death or the life of someone" Correct Hadith narrated by Imam Bukhari and Imam Muslim may Allah (SWT) have mercy on them.

We can from this Hadith conclude several unique miracles for the prophet Mohamed (peace be upon him" and will discover that he is the first human (of course inspired by Allah (SWT)) to lay the foundation of studying astronomy.



Perhaps among the important effects of the solar eclipse is the confusion that appears on some animals and birds. Birds stop singing,some animals think that the night descended, so they snooze in their nests,and roses that open during the day and close during the night will close during the sun eclipse. There are also important effects on tides and many other results.

How does this phenomenon occur? What are the causes and what are the results?

The earth we live on orbits around the sun once every year. The moon also orbits around the earth once every lunar month. It happens that, in certain times, when the sun is bright and sending its rays, the moon while rotating comes in front of it and covers it totally, so we say that the sun has eclipsed.



The phenomenon of the sun eclipse is very dangerous. That's because the sun is the lamp that transmits lights and dangerous radiations. The most dangerous radiation is infrared which is transmitted via the sun on a permanent basis but does not harm us because we don't look directly to the sun. When the moon comes in front of the sun and covers only part of it, we call this phenomenon a partial eclipse. However, if the moon covers the sun totally, the phenomenon is a total eclipse, where the sun disappears and the world suddenly is dark for a minute or two.

When the moon passes in front of the sun and covers part of its light, we can see the sun, but the infrared radiation is invisible. If we look momentarily at the sun during the eclipse, the retina will get serious injuries and infections. Also, this radiation might cause temporary or permanent blindness. Scientists recommend not looking at the sun during eclipse because it sends large amount of infrared radiation.



The moon doesn't send out any rays; Allah (SWT) precisely describes it saying:" and a moon giving light " [Al-Furqan: 61], without originally producing light or rays. The moon reflects rays, and we receive the safe ones. Allah (SWT) describes it as an object that reflects light, while the sun is the light and the illumination source. Based on this fact, watching the moon while in eclipse doesn't cause any harm.

The other phenomenon is the lunar eclipse. The moon reflects the sun's light toward our planet, so we see it illuminating in our sky. Allah (SWT) says: "Blessed be He Who has placed in the heaven big stars, and has placed therein a great lamp (sun), and a moon giving light " [Al-Furqan: 61] .

During lunar phenomenon, the earth locates in the middle of the moon and the sun masking the sun's light, so the moon appears as a dim copper disc.



While sun and lunar eclipse occur on the earth, the eclipse phenomenon occurs for other planets. Most planets in the universe have moons that orbit around them, and sometimes, these moons pass in front of the sun covering the sun's light and leaving the planets dark for a few minutes. Scientist"from NASA" were able to take a photograph for the planet Jupiter during the eclipse as seen on the picture. The black spots represent the planet's moon's shadow during the eclipse

We can conclude from these facts that the sun and the moon revolve in a controlled and accurate system, and the eclipse phenomenon is a natural process that doesn't occur in a result of someone's death or life.

What is the meaning of all these? Are we in geography class. So all you wrote here was Muhammed miracle.It was Muhammed that cause eclipse to happen or because he explained what eclipse mean he had performed miracle or what exactly are you saying? Grow up man.

Actually it may be very difficult to differenciate between conscience and Holy spirit.

According to dictionary, Conscience is person's sense of righ and wrong.

Conscience belongs to man. Every body can differenciate between right and wrong but we will notice that what is right to one person may be wrong to another person.Why is it like that ? Why can't our conscience be the same? I mean, why is it that what i see as right thing you don't see as such? Someone may not see what is wrong in Lesbianism, gay,stealing,lies ,fornication etc.Even though God says those things are wrong, yet they do it. And another person will says it's bad to practice lesbianism and all those stuff.

With the differences in our conscience one should recognize the existence of evil spirit because if the is not evil spirit we would all think as the same. I wouldn't say what you call good is bad or what you call bad is good.

The evil spirit intends to make someone do what your conscience sees as wrong things.This evil spirt from Satan is strong than our conscience and in other to resist and fight this spirit we need Holy Spirit from God.The holy spirit makes us to do what our conscience sees as right or good.

Know this, the Holy Spirit works towards God.The Evil Spirit works towards Satan. The conscience is in between of both Holy spirit and Evil Spirt. Both Evil Spirit and Holy Spirit Always wanted to gain person to their side right from infant and that make it difficut to differenciate between them and conscience.

How to recognize Holy Spirit

Holy Spirit would never side you on evil matter

It enlighten you on the way of God. Like when you are reading the scripture.It give you real uderstanding of what you are reading in a different way to your conscience.Let me put it in these way.Holy Spirit deliver messages from God to your heart in a special way. even if you are not reading the scripture. May be you are walking, or you are sitting down. If something is not good for you or God hate that thing it will tell you. If you are in wrong gathering it will tell you. With holy spirit you will know the fake pastor or man of God. If God wants you to do something it will tell you and keep disturbing you until you do that. and ,it will make that thing easy for you to do.

Holy spirit teach us holiness.The more holy you grow spiritually, the more you feel the present of Holy Spirit. If you are full with Holy Spirit and you can add faith with it,you will surely perform miracles. Some Christians have Holy Spirit but they can perform miracle because of fear and because they doubt the spirit of trueth to be their conscience.

I didn't know what to write.When i aske my wife to differenciate between conscience and Holy Spirit. what she says is not what to write home about.When she had gabbled the answer she quicly threw back the question to me. I see but Jesus also was sent to the world unelse you don't believe that. Is there in Bible he was the first prophets to order the preaching of gospel to the whole world . "and Jesus came and speak unto them,saying, all power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye and teach all nations,baptizing them in the name of the father,and of the son, and of the Holy Ghost.Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever i have commanded you and lo, iam with you always even unto the end of the world" mathew 28:19-20

The above verses had been recorded or written and christians had been found in another nations before Muhammed was born,before Islam was form,so why did you said Muhammed was the only prophet send to the world ?

On your second point that muhammed went to heaven to collect salat.Did God tells Muhammed that with this you are greater than other prophets or was it the imaginaton of Muslims is the greatest with that? Did Muhammed sees God when he went to heaven ?Answer me.

Abraham heard the voice of God (Genesis 22:8,12:24).

Isaac heard it (Genesis 26: 2,17:19-21)

Jacorb heard it,(Genesis 31:24).

Moses heard it (Number7:89) .Samuel heard it (1 Sawuel 3:4),

Elijah heard it (1 king 19:13),

Jesus heard it.Matthew 3:17

Did Muhammed ever hear the voice of God apart for the voice of Angel ?

Now, let us compare Jesus Christ with prophet Muhammed. Please you will have to provide answer to that of Muhammed and please let your proof be from Quran first then you can support with bible fast if you like.

1. Many prophets spoke or foretold about the coming of Jesus Christ. ( Moses Deut 18:15 , Daniel 9:24-26, Isaiah 53:3-7, Zechariah 9:9,Psalm 22:17 ,8-14-18, Micah 5:2) and many more.

2. The birth of Jesus is unique. (Matthem 1 :18-25) He was the only person who did not share in the first sin commited by Adam and Eve.His blood his not from Adam and Eve.The proof is in your Quran too.

Muhammed in the other hand was born like you and me was born. Is that correct ?

2. Jesus was a perfect man.I remember he told the Jews in his time "which of you convinceth me of sin? And if i say the trueth,why do you not believe me"(John 8:46) He did not marry,he did not have children never own a house or any properties. He came to deliver message and when he had done ,he went back.

Muhammed married many wives,even me ,i have only one wife sorry to say. He had seven children in his live time.Like ordnary people will do.He expirence the toughness of life because all his children died in his live time, that is uncommon to prophets.The only person you can point at in the scripture his Job.Why Muhammed? He fought many war.Some prophets did accepted.

3. Jesus was a Miracle worker. Is there in your Quran.

When Muhammed died ,he was buried in his Medina.He has his tomb among his peopl till now.

6. Jesus was seen alive after his death by his disciples. John 20:2-31,21:2-25

I doubt if anybody ever see Muhammed after his death be it alive or in dream

Let us compare them by their words.Muslims believe that Jesus was a true prophe.

7. Jesus says " Iam the way the trueth and life nobody goes to father except through me (John 14:6)"

No prophets not Muhammed has ever say the above statement before except Jesus.

8.Jesus says he knows God


9.Jesus say he was sent by God and that he came down from heaven (John 8:55-59)

how many prophets have ever say this?

10.Jesus say he will confess any body that confessed him before man before God and denied anybody that denied him before man before his father in heave. (Matthew 10:32).

Did Muhammed bold enough to say this when alive?
11. Jesu say he will come back again.

Why not Muhammed that would come back again if he greater than Jesus.

Both Christians and Muslims have faith in the prophet they follow.Even though we have not seen them or their dicsciples before. But what i wrote above are part of thing that made me not believe in Muhammed. If you said that Jesus's disciples lied against him where is your proof ? If you believed in Muhammed and his disciple whon you don't see why can't you believe in Jesus whom Muhammed himself confessed to be prophet and his disciples.

Before you make up your mind to serve a spiritual being(God) this is one question you should consider.....Maybe you were preached to,converted through encouter,through self decision or you were even born into the religion........The very moment you say you accept Christ into your life you've got to consider this question.
But unfortunately many a times we don't.
From the literal meaning being a christian means you're Christ-like.....Then comes the question "who is Christ"
It's so sad to see the way the so called "christians" parade themselves in this planet......the hypocrisy has gotten to a level that each time I see this I shake my head.
Why won't atheists challenge the religion.Some times,some unbelievers behave more naturally and nicely than we the believers.......so many havocs in the church,hypocrisy every now and then,lies,deceit,even voodoo in churches(claiming to be spiritual churches),fornicating....(believing under the existence of grace),sinning deliberately,hatred,eye service,adultery and still come up to the altar and preach.
No wonder witches,wizards and demons have turn churches to relaxation centers....lols
But remember the only manual christians have(the bible)said in James 1vs22-25;

So had like opinions views from everybody........even "atheists".......Who is a christian?

Bro, let me start by saying you are a little bit faster than me.I wanted to post the same question on sunday but i decided to ask about who is man of God that day and postponed this to following day but unfurtunately when i checked the topics yestarday i found it. God is good.

This question is very good. With discussions with people on this forum or section i discover that many people does not really understand what christian is all about especialy some called atheists who claimed they were one time christian before converted to atheist.
Back to the op question 'What is Christian' -According to me, Christian is a man of peace and love who believe in existence of one true God and believed in Jesus Christ as savior of the world,someone who was led by Holy Spirit.

I have my proof for the above definition.The Bible told us In the book of Acts 26: that disciples were called Christian in Antioch because of qualities they see in them.Verse 23 of the same chapter 11 told us about the qualities possessed by Barnabas whom the disciples sent to Tarsus to find Saul and when he found him both of them went to Antioch . Let read his qualities.

"Who, (Barnabas) when he came, and had seen the grace of God, was glad and exhorted them all ( the believer in Antioch ) that with purpose of heart they would cleave into the Lord for he (Barnabas) was a GOOD MAN and FULL OF HOLY GOHST and of FAITH, and much people was added into the Lord (Act 23:11)

The three qualities written in capital letter is what makes someone a Christian.Let me add it here, that all atheists who converted from Christianity to atheism have never be a Christian because they can only possesed one of the three qualities when they are Christian which is GOOD MAN. But they lack the other two which are HOLY SPIRIT and FAITH.

Jesus Christ was a man of peace and love,a man full of holy spirit and faith. Just pick any one of disciples and tell me if they didn't possessed these qualities? You see.

Let me give one verse of bible for each qualitie as another evidence to show that these three qualities is only ticket to heaven

1. Follow peace with all men and holiness,without which no man shall see the Lord.

2 . For as many as are led by the Spirit of God,they are the sons of God. Roman 8:14 ( Holy Gost)

3. ..But that now man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for the just shall live by faith.Galatians 3 : 11 (Faith)


The true is that, in the world today, there are some people who called themself Christian whereas they are not Christian. This type of Christian may be the person who was born into Christianity. Bein born into christianity does not make you a Christian. There some certaine question you need to ask yourself and work towards.

1 The Bible says that faith comes by hearing and rearing by the words of God" (Romans 10:17) after you have been listen to the worlds of God you need to called the holy spirit to be your guidance.

2 Don't base your christianity on what they told you alone. Pick your Bible and read. Then, you will see the manifestation of Holy Spirit and mind you don't read in verses that is not good idea for good christian .For the start try to read from Genesis to revelation chapter by chapter. You will see the hand of Holy Spirit.

3. After all these, then examine yourself if you can be called Christian. You can do this by given your self these little test (1) do i follow what i read in Bible or does my life be like that of Christ? (2) Do i see the present of holy spirit in my life (3) How many question about my religion can i provide geneue answer to.

4. If you pass the above test, then, re-think of your religion by relating it with other religion to see if there is another religion that is superior to the one you are into. The bible say "we should seek for the truth .If you see the one that superior to the one you hold on to then, grap it because it is the matter of life and death. Your mother,father,siblings, friend,wife, should not be an obstacle because they wouldn't speak for you on the day of judgement.And if what you are into is the genue one, hold unto it till the end comes rain or storm. May God help us

permit me here to differenciate between Christian and Born again Christian.I have explained up there what Christian is all about .

Born againg Christian on the other hand is a term use to verify from somebody who called himself Christian whether he knows what christian really mean or to know if someone is christian by mouth or faith. Remember the words was used in Bible by Jesus to explain to Necodemus if he knows the way of salvation.

tithing have to do with Old Testament but iam telling you that you will have your reward for every good things you do in the name of God. It is not your concern what the pastor do with tithe. Just make sure you give it from your heart. If you don't believe in it why paying it ?
