Concerning evolution and other things you made metion here,every human being found them self on earth.When you are a baby you can explain these things you are saying now.That changes of your from baby to adult you are now is beyond your knowledge and that of your parent and that growth you can not stop it or add to it. pDude: I have noticed that christians, especially those ones who are fervent and unshaken in their beliefs as christians, are the most miserable on this earth. Take for example, in Nigeria where on sundays, the churches are never empty aqnd also night vigils rent the air every friday; there is a high incidence of poverty, dejectedness and wickedness.

I visited camp programmes on Lagos-Ibadan expressway several times and I was surprised to see millions turn out for such programmes. I noticed that month after month, these same people kept coming back to these church vigils but a vast majority of them lived in crushing poverty. Their situations never improved no matter how much they went for camp meetings, church meetings or vigils.

Asia is a 'Pagan' continent with different religions and gods but they seem to be doing quite well. US and European Countries have a vast majority of their populations spending sunday relaxing in a club, theatre of beach. Yet, christians in Nigeria (who are the most fervent in the world) who spend most of the week attending church services are the worst lot.

So I ask, what is wrong with Christianity? Why does poverty, ignorance and non- achievement seem to trail christianity?

It was exemplified in the life of the prophet:

They are meant for reciting the Qur’an, glorifying God and prayer.’ He then called for a bucket of water and he poured it over the urine.”

Had it being that the prophet is not tolerant, he would have ordered to cut his head off.

Even, ordinarily, as a human being, we are more tolerant than the other if we are intimidated.

Islam emphasizes the establishment of equality and justice, both of these values cannot be established without some degree of tolerance. Islam recognized from the very beginning the principle of freedom of belief or freedom of religion. It said very clearly that it is not allowed to have any coercion in the matters of faith and belief. The Qur'an says, (There is no compulsion in religion) (Quran 2:256).

The prophet s.a.w. said,

“Do not be envious of one another, do not artificially raise prices against one another, do not turn one’s back on each other and do not undercut one another in business transaction. And O servants of Allah, be brothers. A muslim is a brother of a muslim. He does not wrong him. He does not fail him ( when he needs him). He does not lie to him. And he does not show contempt for him. Piety is here”. And he pointed to his chest three times. “ It is enough of evil for a person to hold his brother in contempt. All of a muslim is inviolable to another muslim, his blood, his wealth and his honor”.

If the muslims apply the teaching of this hadith, there will be a great change and improvement in their inter relationship and love for one another and a better life. First, the prophet s.a.w. is showing us what we shouldn’t do toward each other, we should avoid:

Envy:
Means to hate that the other person has even received the blessing in the first place.

This disease of the heart and the sin, which is known, as envy was one of the first sins ever committed. It was one of the main thing that drove Satan away from Allah s.w.t. And envy was the cause of the first murder in humanity history (Cain and Abel)

The prophet s.a.w said,

“Belief and Envy do not gather together in the heart of a slave of Allah”.

Therfore:

One should not post information because you have hatred for other belief or envy, otherwise, understand through seeking for knowledge about such faith and how it suppose to be practiced. Also, most of these news are unbalanced and lack true figure of the event. There are some of these news we've tried to investigate and at the end it we noticed it lacks detail. Eric Abakporo, a Deeper Life pastor and attorney, and a cohort, Latanya Pierce, were arrested for swindling the 78 year-old woman and stiffing a bank with a phony $1.8 million mortgage loan. Abakporo was arrested on Monday in Queens, NY, while Pierce surrendered voluntarily.

“Through lies and deception, these individuals abused the trust of an elderly woman in order to perpetrate a multimillion dollar fraud. Now that their despicable scheme has been exposed, they will face justice,” said New York State Attorney General Eric Schneiderman.

Abakporo first came across the SaharaReporters radar screen in 2010 in another case involving contracts for renovations at the Nigerian Mission in New York City. The contracts, linked to Joy Ogwu, Nigeria’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, were inflated, according to a petition signed by whistleblowers calling themselves “The Patriots.” SaharaReporters reported on this a few months after New York Daily News was reporting on the fraud perpetrated against the elderly woman.

The SaharaReporters story prompted the ethically challenged lawyer to turn his fury on the citizen reporting website with a lawsuit raising libel, emotional distress and other charges for which he demanded $30 million. A U.S. District Court dismissed most of Mr. Abakporo’s claims in an April 2011 decision.

The story behind the current FBI charges began in March 2006 when Abakporo cultivated a relationship with the victim who owned a Harlem apartment building. He offered to help her collect rents but actually, he pocketed them.

The two alleged con artists then persuaded the woman to sell her property for $3.1 million, giving her multiple fake and fraudulent checks which they later took back, promising to give her a “private mortgage” in the property. After weaving a web of lies around their actions, the two swindlers brought their act to a local bank, claiming they owned the building “free and clear”. For this lie, they obtained a $1.8 million mortgage which they failed to repay.

Ultimately they obtained all of the elderly woman’s assets and $1.8 million by defrauding the bank.

Charges against the two include multiple bank and wire fraud which together carry a maximum prison term of 100 years behind bars.

Abakporo is currently cooling his heels in detention until payment of a $1 million bond secured by an interest in property and co-signed by three people and secured by two properties.

cyrexx: i believe christianity and atheism had little to nothing in common, and each one should follow what he really believes. and we should respect each other and not try to convert another person to one's belief system. i am a christian and my belief system has answers to some questions that atheism didn't have (like who created the world and every other complex phenomenon we observe including our great minds we use in reasoning) while atheists are not bound by some of our rules for living since, according to their belief system, there is no judgement, no afterlife, no heaven or hell, no Higher Being etc. i respect that. another thing is that I as a Christian cannot prove 100% that God exists while atheists cannot prove 100% that God does not exist, but we can learn one or two thing to strengthen or reshape our different belief system with MUTUAL RESPECT for each other not try to call anyone a fool. we will never really know who is right or wrong until hundreds of years from now, i think. thats my submission

Dlyna: I've done a lot of stuffs that I'm really sorry for, and I want to get close to God and worship him sincerly in spirit and in truth.
I don't know how to do this. I've made up my mind to abstain from the things I use to do that are not pleasing to him but it doesn't seem enough to me. When I pray or fast it seems like I'm not doing it right. I need someone to tell me what I'm suppose to do and teach me how to pray. And also encourage me so that I don't go back to the wordly things I use to do.
