If this is true, I really feel your pain, my advice is that you try your best to make peace with her, report the the real issue to a third party, like therapists or even necessary government bodies, although it's obvious your wife's goal is separation. If you can switch towards going into monk mode may be it will be helpful. A lot of lady get poisoned by the cultural patterns in Europe that exposes the true possibilities they have in them

Right from time I have always been a user, care less about people but myself and whenever I get into trouble I always expect others to help me out and I do get into trouble and they certainly will. As soon as I get what I want. I seem to forget about all their good deeds until I get into another trouble or needs a help out.

Now that I'm an adult it's gotten more worst, I find myself doing stuffs just to satisfy my own pleasures, my own selfish gains but something happened yesterday that no one I know was able to help me out.

I was angry at first then I came to my senses those people I called I haven't even done one bit of favour for them but they have for me several times.

It dawned on me that I am a user who rely on people to help me out all the time.I hate this character and i want to change for good.

Change is not so difficult, it begins with repentance then thinking right, saying right and action. In your thoughts you start saying I am no more user or taker I am now a giver then you start saying it and acting it. Acting as a giver now may require that you list all the people you once used and send a thank you message to them for being there during your lowest time, then on their birthdays you celebrate them and send them things as low as airtime. I will also suggest you read the book Give and Take

Get only those who have current account that can give you cheque to cash later. Start giving out loans, at 10 percent. Let them issue you cheque before you give them the money. Put a system to ensure that they will have enough money to cash back after salaries are paid.

Alternatively, go to the payroll in charge of your organization. Ask them how you can register your loan service so that they can deduct at source for you.

If you do this, you'll be very rich in 5 years because as long as you can pay out 1.5m at 10% interest, you're sure of 150k coming to you for that month, whether you receive repayment back in that month or later. If you keep doing it, in 1 year, your 1.5m will become 3m. Civil servants are always very broke and in need of money. At least that's how the politicians have made them be, with their own help too.

Even if you reinvest the returns, N1M in T-bills alone will not compound into N5M within a year — returns are too modest for that.
If you do nothing but compound the N1M in Treasury Bills, even with reinvestment:

Hello. In 2024, after I finished my NYSC, and for like 6 months I couldn't get a job. While I was searching I found an online job (a publishing job) which has made me close to #10M. On this job there are days I make 200k, some 500, 1m or even more depending on how hard I work or how luck smiles on me.

The issue now is that I got a 9-5 government job that pays around 150k. Tfare alone takes 40%. I'm a single man, 30, PWD. Tbh this money is too small. And talking of managing the two to three jobs ain't easy. It's taking a toll on my health. And too much focus on the govt job is causing a neglect/decline on my online job. I'm being pressured by my parent to go for this 9-5. They don't understand this online job. They think it's a scam. Imagine when will 80 k buy me my Lexus RX 350? When will I begin my own family?

Apart from this publishing job, I've found two other online jobs I've started focusing on. I save well, I don't spend unnecessarily, and I invest well too.

Please advice me what should I do. Should I leave the govt job and continue to lock in?

Over the past two years I have been having serious thoughts about religion, Christianity in particular because I was raised a Christian. A lot of things don't make sense to me lately and I will explain my points now.
1. Salvation: Christians believe that without salvation, which is accepting Jesus into your life, you're going to hell. But I have been curious to know what is the fate of these categories of people: People who existed before Jesus was born, and people who by their background, are likely not Christians. I mean, if I were born in India or Pakistan, I would like be a Hindu or a Muslim. If you were born in that region, you're likely to die practicing the religion of your parents and never get the chance of hearing about Jesus.
2. Religion seems to forbid you asking critical questions: I have come to realise that you're not allowed to ask critical questions if it is seen as a threat to how the system has been organised. Even if you do, you're told something that is very shallow and unconvincing.
I have once tried to ask why God decided to choose a small tribe in Israel to start the salvation of mankind and risk a lot of people in other civilisations not being aware of anything.
As always, I was given another unconvincing answer.
3. Teachings from the Bible sounds good, but not really applicable to real life situations: Imagine you're coming from church and somehow you enter into an argument with a bus conductor and he suddenly slapped you in the face. What would you do? Would you 'turn the other cheek ' like Jesus said or fight back? We are humans, and most times, we act as our emotions leads us. We're fallible and yet we're to live with the burden of being perfect enough for heaven. How is that possible.
I'm beginning to start believing that Christianity is an ideological concept, not very different from other religions.
I have a thousand thoughts concerning the whole Idea of Christianity, but let me stop here yet.
4. Money and billing is driving me crazy!: I attend a Pentecostal church, and to be honest, I don't agree with some of the doctrines. Why would you tell people to bring half their salary every January to sow seed? That's outrageous if you ask me. I watch as I see people being milked dry with multiple offerings every service.
Events upon events that dig holes in the pockets of members in the name of contribution. Like, I'm tired! The church doesn't even know how you survive from Monday to Saturday or how your life outside church is like.
I think I will stop going to church for now.
