Ladies and gents its official gervinho is rubbish. I hav watched him since last season and I'v concluded that he's an ivorien love child of pius ikedia/wright philips. Walcott may hav no football but at least he flipping scores the odd goal. Truchst wenger to buy a dud frm lille while chelsea got the real deal. I mean what's the point of having a winger who cannot cross barely beats his man and when he does doesn't make the right choice of which channel to go or falls down without even extracting a penalty shout. His shooting laughable if that is what u choose to call it. Fellow gunners except for maybe the OX we never get winger o. An aside I like the look of giroud he's ur typical point but abit comfortable with the ball at his feet needs a little bit of patience and good supply goals will flow definate. And pls y r merrs ramsey noah, dhorou, slowpoke(copyright dk) chamakh still doin @ the club?!*smh* best for the season GUNNER THROUGH AND THROUGH

Oga all the rodents one wld think we lost the game. Lots of positives though we were strong physically against stoke(for once) midfield showed gd movement attack willing but blunt a lot of wrk yet early days yet
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Wigan Accept Chelsea's Bid For Victor-Moses by ayusco: 8:40am On Aug 25, 2012
Yeah gd signing on paper but I hope he can cope with the pressure cos his position is so chaulk full of talented players. Anyways he's also talented and has age on his side.

STRONG POINTS: good dribbler, athletic, holds onto the ball well, decent pace and looks to have a good temprament
WEAK POINTS:poor crossing ability, average football iq and erratic shooting

Sports › Re: London-2012: Task Ahead Is Clear - Minister Of Sports by ayusco: 8:33am On Aug 11, 2012
Nice speech like evryone has said hope its not just anoda round of rhetoric. As per him resigning I think we shld giv him benefit of the doubt since he was just made substansive sport minister 2 months ago. Our failure started way b4 he came on the scene but if he too shows similar ineptitude I will be d first to call for his sack. The truth again is that govt has over the past few years not veiwed sports as an essential part of nation building hence the frequent appointment of political jobbers as sports ministers. The point the minister made abt having the economic acumen was not made in isolation as he did say that its one thing to hav the resources but another to invest wisely. Sport nowadays is mostly corporate driven and nigeria shld be no different. Not your occasional sponsoring of sport clinics or competitions but long term partnership. In the same vein govt shld as a matter of urgency weed out all the sport associations of civil service mentality and allow/encourage proactive and brilliant people to head populate such associations. Once this happens corporate nigeria would naturally identify with such people. Govt shld also sell of sporting facilities to individuals who can manage them and ensure they are in proper shape. In the short term govt shld identify a few talented athletes eg okagbare, weightlifters, wrestlers chukwumerije? etc and give them elite athlete funding in partnership with the private sector to cover training competitions/tours coaches etc to get them to that top level ready for rio2016. In the long termschool sports shld b the backbone for nurturing and selecting top talent which can b recommended for elite funding. With political will it can surely b done. For all of us constructive critisism is good but let us go a step further by giving concrete steps to improving our sports no one is a monopoly of knowledge so let's all learn together

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Euro 2012 All-Action Thread by ayusco: 5:34pm On Jun 24, 2012
@coogar xavi is a living legend no doubt but as being much better IMO that's neither here nor there. I'll rather say both their styles differ but great in their own individual ways. Xavi is a pass master while zidane's pure skill n genius ala maradona made up for his weaker(note I'm not saying it was not good) passing ability. If u insist on your stance would u say xavi is better than maradona himself in pure midfield terms?

My sentimental favourites r the oranje boys but just have this feeling the azzuri might pull it off germans look formidable as for the spainards though strong look jaded.
Outside bet france maybeish portugal everyone else no chance in ice block hell! As for the english oma se ooo! Tins r so bad that their is no crap worth being hyped by the english press.a squad that contains 5 potential players from a wankk team like liverpool this season plus john terry says it all
TV/Movies › Re: You Know It's A Nigerian Movie When... by ayusco: 1:17pm On May 12, 2012
Lol ok here's mine
1 jim ikyes emotional range is to force tears out of his eyes without facial expressions to back it up
2 a film produced by emem isong starring mercy johnson desmond elliot omoni oboli etc always has the soundtrack "LIFE CAN BE SOOOOOOO HARD!"
3 village girls always have well manicured nails
4like some one said u wonder if the films are set in nigeria cos the chief/king always behaves like he's the judiciary legislature executive rolled up in one
5 olu jacobs grunts
6 pete edochie always uses silly animal metaphors "u have stepped on the tail of the lion who was chatting to the tiger while eating the he-goat
7 with flash backs u can solve all things in yoruba movies
8 the lead actress especially yoruba films) almost always introduces her cleavage to the audience
9 the police are super efficient
10 as the credits roll they show the making of the rubbish film we just finished watching
Sports › Re: Ghana Or Nigeria? Who Is Generally Better In Football by ayusco: 7:18am On May 05, 2012
@dk ryan giggs played for a not so strong welsh team but his contributions to MAN u's dominance are note-worthy
Geogre weah played for a self-service liberia side yet he still qualified them for the nations cup first time in their history and almost took them to japan/korea 2002 if not for nigeria's late resurgence.
Ginola is similar to cantona great players who just couldn't cut it @ NT level
While de stefano was just like messi @ this moment won loads of club football luarels yet couldn't win with the NT but that doesn't take away from his greatness.

Abedi on the other hand played for one of the strongest teams in africa then yet could not lead them to any nations cup win(note some of these were years when nigeria argueably the best team in africa then was absent). Even abedi's club career luarels(french league titles) were tainted by match fixing. After he left marsielles wat else did he achieve in his club career? Zilch! Mikeappolo stop with all this ur man of the match mumbo jumbo next thing u know u'll be saying because osaze won 3 EPL player of the month awards he is now one of the greatest strikers
