No wonder Finland is a predominantly atheist country.
Thank God for the  rhapsody of realities this is gradually changing!!!

frosbel:
I had a read of today's rhapsody devotion and it was complete metaphysics.
Am not sure of what you read, but today's rhapsody gave us serious insight to the fact that anything is possible as long as we never doubt but rather hold on to Gods word and continue confessing the right things.
You can read it for urself

Why the independence day? Is it because you feel it's not worth celebrating

Vain and empty bragging typical of CE members. You would do well to provide the name and address of the school so we can verify the "millions" you would spend there.
I wonder
How do you plan on celebrating this years independence anniversary

Last years impact
50 Years, 50 Smiles, 50 Heroes…Celebrating Hope In The Jubilee

Partners of Rhapsody of Realities and brethren from Christ Embassy on October 1st 2010, distributed 20 million free copies of Rhapsody of Realities in commemoration of the 50th Independence Anniversary of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. They distributed the devotional in 8 Nigerian languages namely English, Yoruba, Hausa, Igbo, Efik, Ijaw, Urhobo, and Igala.

ReachOut Nigeria Nationwide Charity Projects!

The partners also embarked on over 50 Charity Projects that put smiles on the faces of Nigerians. From the remotest rural communities in the country, to the renowned cities and business districts, everyone felt the impact of the 2010 ReachOut Nigeria Campaign.

Impacting The Educational Sector

In the area of education, partners in major cities like Lagos and Benin made efforts at improving the lot of students in schools by renovating classrooms and libraries and equipping them with books and computers.

Governor Adams Oshiomole of Edo State poured encomiums on Christ Embassy for organizing charitable projects across the nation describing the endeavour as inspiring and worthy of emulation. He commended the Church for
championing the cause for change—positive change in Nigeria.

Also, partners in Calabar, Makurdi and Ebonyi rewarded academic excellence amongst students in the states who participated in special debates and quiz competitions organized under the auspices of ReachOut Nigeria 2010. “Of all the gifts we have received from Christ Embassy, what I appreciate the most is the daily devotional, particularly for my students in the hostel. Every day, they can open it and receive God's Word for their lives,” said the Principal of a Secondary School in Makurdi.

A Primary School in Bauchi State where pupils sat on the floor to learn, received classroom furniture from members of Christ Embassy Bauchi. The pupils, who also received free notebooks from the partners, now learn more comfortably.

Face-lifting Hospitals/Providing Medical Supplies

In Kano State, the partners addressed health issues in the rural communities by supplying Medical Aid and offering free Medicare to many in some rural communities like Gezawa LGA, where such is above the reach of the average rural dweller. In Nassarawa State, free drugs were presented to citizens of Lafia.

Also making an impact in the health sector, Rhapsody of Realities Partners in Oyo and Ogun states renovated hospitals and supplied them with some medical equipment.
In Lagos State, a symposium was convened to educate motorcyclists on safety and they were provided with vests and crash helmets. “This initiative by Christ Embassy is a welcome development that I wish other organizations will emulate. There's nothing like giving back to a nation from which you have thrived,” expressed the Unit Commander of the Federal Road Safety, Mr Abdullahi Muhammed Lawal.

A specially fitted ambulance was also donated to the State Government as contribution to the development of the Health Sector in the state. Receiving the ambulance on behalf of the Lagos State Governor, the representative Mr. Fola Arthur Worrey said, “This is a case of practical support for a positive ideal. It’s an indication that, beyond the common rhetoric, change must be practical and solid. This ambulance is an evidence of support. On behalf of the Lagos State government and the citizenry, I say “thank you” to Christ Embassy.”

Other projects embarked upon by Christ Embassy Church chapters in marking the 2010 Reach Out Nigeria Campaign include: provision of boreholes in several communities across the country, provision of supplies for inmates in prisons, orphanages and remand homes, the renovation and supply of equipment and services for various Police stations in different parts of the country, provision of computers and IT facilities to schools, prisons and police stations etc.

MrBible:
Today during service this visiting pastor from Nigeria asked all of us to bring out the highest £££ denomination we have with us so that we can prophesy on it, after we have finished prophesying that the money in our hand will start working for us, I was surprised when he asked us to place it on the alter for him, everyone did, as I was on my way to drop my money the holy spirit quickly reminded me this is another con and I quickly went back to my seat. These pastors are getting more desperate.
I find this story hard to believe, what are you doing in a church where your pastor  invites a preacher you call a con to preach, are you saying your PST is a fraud ,if he is what are you doing there. Very untrue story, even if it's true, and you went back with your money it's your business, it does not change the fact that the others were blessed

I'm a VERY GOOD Christian! But a LOT of lies HAS been attributed to the TRUE GOD! An EXAMPLE is HELL FIRE! The word HELL is found in the BIBLE! But in the context in which it is used, it conveyed the meaning GRAVE, SHEOL! NEVER have i come ACROSS the word HELLFIRE, in the BIBLE not to talk of God punishing people in HELLFIRE!
Which bible are you reading
Matthew 18:9
9 And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast[ it] from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire.

Christianity EtcRe: Christianity Is About Power by Azibalua(f): 11:08am On Sep 02, 2011
Let's not be mistaken this power is inherent in every Christian, it's not a show we put on,it's just that a lot of Christians are still in the dark about who they are in christ,it's like a 300 kva engine being used to power a self contained apartment,so much power but little knowledge of it's capacity.
Christianity EtcRe: Live To Give - Pastor Anita by Azibalua(f): 5:44pm On Aug 29, 2011
Zodiac61:
Destruction of what huh huh huh
Those to whom you give your money do not not appear to give - they prosper whilst the giver sinks ever deeper into penuary.
The tithes do not feed the hungry, house the homeless or educate the poor.
They allow people like Chris and Anita and the GO live lives of unprecedented luxury.
You can find a quote in the bible for anything. Unfortunately, the bible is a useless book, full of dubious wisdom and morality.
The bible contains the infallible word of god, whether you believe it or not it does not change a thing.

Christianity EtcRe: Live To Give - Pastor Anita by Azibalua(f): 4:55pm On Aug 27, 2011
dare2think:
The funny aspect is that people who dont pay "tithes" i.e Atheist, Muslims and people of other faiths and walks of Life still live fulfilling and comfortable lives.
So, Tithing is only beneficial to the recipient. It neither adds nor remove anything to the quality of anybody's life (Except the beneficiaries). If people that dont pay tithes can still lead a successful and fulfilling lives, what difference does Tithing make then.
It only enriches dubious individuals who takes advantage of faithful and hopeful folks.
Without living the life of a giver your prosperity only results in destruction
Proverbs 1:32

Christianity EtcRe: Why Are Nigerian Churches So Greedy? by Azibalua(f): 12:29pm On Aug 19, 2011
dare2think:
Charity is an "extra" requirement, but Tithes and Offering are essential.
To make it simpler.  The Church GIVING is not compulsory but the Church Receiving is Important.
Fraudulent Tactics from Fraudulent individuals.
That Country is in perpetual Darkness because the people that knows the right thing just sticks to manipulation and deceit.
Tithes and offerings belong to god,
Churches carry out missionary work all the time
