dare2think:

Where you there when this "MEN" where annointed? How do you know their annointement is from God?       Should every Tom, manliness and harry that calls the name of JESUS be regarded as anointed?
Dude you are free to worship "MEN" , just stop expecting others to conform to your subordination.
Note my emphasis on MEN, they poo like the rest of us, they were born like the rest of us,  and guess what?,  they'll die like the rest of us. Because at the end of the day,  THEY ARE NOT GOD BUT MERE men THAT WERE PUSHED OUT OF THEIR MOTHER'S WOMB JUST LIKE YOU AND I
How do you know it is not of God?

aletheia:

Let me break it down for you nepios;
If someone steals money and gives it to you, and you refuse to return it after it is shown to you that it is stolen then you are also a thief.
(1 Tim 5:22) Lay hands suddenly on no man, neither be partaker of other men's sins: keep thyself pure.
By receiving stolen money and refusing to return it, Oyakhilome has taken part in Agada's stealing. . .so he's a thief. Come to think of it: you lot claim he's the next best thing to Jesus, how come he lacked the discernment to know the goods were stolen. . .certainly we can compare him to Peter in the case of Ananias and Sapphira. The difference is clear. You may also wish to ponder the words of Jesus concerning so-called "gifts to God".
Chris Oyakhilome is a thief.
Was the money given to pastor chris or to God?
When you make a giving, you give to God and not to anybody else!
All this talk of pastor chris collecting monies and not returning it is childish and very nepiotic .

Nonsense village headmaster
Don't speak about what you do not know
Pastor chris teaches honesty, and love virtually in every service
He has never been proven to be associated with any crime whatsoever.

frosbel:

What matters to all these idol worshippers is not Christ but Christ embassy.
They are so addicted to the worship of MOG that if they saw Jesus today they will walk right past him.
This is religion folks.
Look for Jesus, your messiah and saviour.
Stop elevating these MOG to god-like status.

The reason why we exist is stricly for christ
How can you know jesus when you are too blind to even see him in the person next to you

Hmm, i see. Just what i expected. The unforgivable sin of disagreeing with the majority, especially when one is a newcomer. As christians, you guys ought to show more love to newbies even if they are still sinners like myself. Pastor chris should have talked about that.
Quote from Joagbaje:
Dont mind him, I wonder why he has to sign a new ID just because of CEC
That is very insulting to CEC. Please remove it before Pastor Chris sees it. (By the way, I only had to log in).

Not really. But you’ll be noticing me a lot more when i decide to partake regularly in naijaland instead of just occasionally reading through comments and jumping in only when I can no longer bear the stupidity.

Religion / Let's Pray For The Nigerian Police Force by Azibalua(f): 1:04pm On Oct 23, 2011
As Christians it's our responsibility to intercede for the various institutions set up by the government, the police is one such institution, most times they are faced with critical situations that they really do not know what to do, it takes only a spiritual man to understand the spiritual realm, therefore we need to pray for them that they come to the light if gods word, and also we need to pray for the sanitisation of the police force
Once we start to do this we will begin to see changes the police force
Say a prayer today for them,
Religion / Re: Stop The Attacks On Other Faiths! by Azibalua(f): 7:29pm On Oct 21, 2011
No doubt this suddenly discovered ecumenical zeal stems from the latest strategy in your company's (Believers Loveworld Incorporated) business expansion plan: to seek to promote ecumenical understanding as a means of increasing global revenues by finding more gullible sheep to fleece. . .since I am sure the global economic turndown must be affecting your revenue stream.
The gospel will surely move on whether anyone likes it or not

I have actually discussed the issue of my "local assembly" before, you know. In any event, I will do so again on one condition --- you answer either one of the two following questions,
A. Where did Oyakhilome get his PhD from?
OR
B. Who ordained Oyakhilome?
cool

Were you not taught not to answer a question with another ?
Just answer the question it's simple enough
Or are you going to disappoint some people

,l get the point, no one can be won to Christ through argument or offence-driven criticism notwithstanding though this is not to insinuate that there is no room for sincere exchange of knowledge and constructive criticism within the radius of love and mutual respect.

I wish a lot more folks will take out time to discover for themselves the meaning of this word.

Joagbaje:

I can tell he doesn't go to any church. Can people like him be under a pastor? grin. Maybe I'm wrong. I will really be glad to be wrong.

Remember all the other times you similarly gave names to other posters ---- which it turns out also apply to Oyakhilome? Like bastard, for example?

Oops the name calling thing!
The thread says we are not to attack other faith
Can we return to it so we can learn something and can we discuss intelligently !
Religion / Re: Stop The Attacks On Other Faiths! by Azibalua(f): 4:35pm On Oct 20, 2011
Mark 16:15
15 And He said to them, Go into all the world and preach and publish openly the good news (the Gospel) to every creature [of the whole ahuman race].

We are instructed to preach the good news to all,not to attack their religion, our responsibility as Christians is to announce the good news, once we move our focus to announcing the love of christ for the whole world not taking their religion into consideration we would achieve so much more, after all we are not bringing another religion rather we are announcing the life of God.

Numbers 22:28-30
28 Then the Lord caused the donkey to speak! "What have I done that deserves your beating me these three times?" she asked.
29 "Because you have made me look like a fool!" Balaam shouted. "I wish I had a sword with me, for I would kill you."
30 "Have I ever done anything like this before in my entire life?" the donkey asked.
"No," he admitted.
